CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME? I get my juvenile leopard gecko on Tuesday and I can’t decide if it’s safe to use moss in his humid hide. I use reptile carpet for the rest, I just placed a bit of the terrarium moss (sold at petco) inside and around the humid hide. Is that safe for a juvenile?

It’s not bad, but be cautious when using sphagnum moss because it is considered a loose substrate and may cause an impaction. Placing a paper towel and misting it is probably a safer option.
