This was only the third time that they had played this song live. Your reaction to Dany's belts, now that is the proper way to react, expletives and all. HEHE! 😜
That is why I’m obsessed w/ reactions being genuine & not a 3rd or 4th take. It’s what entertaining about them. Just like the whole BAND-MAID goof. I had no idea who they were. I saw a photo of ladies in maid outfits & thought K Pop. Got beat up in the comments but so worth it in the end. Made the content hilarious & now those same people are so looking forward to my next reaction of them because of how much I enjoy their music. Plus I don’t mind laughing at myself. Thank you for the comment & support. It really helps my confidence & reinforces I’m on the right path. This has been a blast & I hope for a long run doing this. 👊🤘👍👍🙏
“Hell You Call A Dream” dives into the reality of life on the road, a blend of thrill, exhaustion, and resilience that’s both rewarding and relentless. The band describes it as capturing the push-and-pull of touring-the sheer excitement of live shows clashing with the burnout that comes from the constant grind of travel and lack of personal space. Written with Dan Lancaster (who plays keyboards for Muse) and Curtis Peoples, it was the last track completed during a draining writing trip in Los Angeles. In their Track by Track video, the band talked about how this song explores the paradox of loving something that also drains you. Touring is exhilarating, but it’s also emotionally and physically taxing: endless bus rides, lack of sleep, and non-stop sandwiches can wear down even the most passionate performers. They wanted to capture that side of the journey, showing the weight that musicians sometimes carry silently.
Ale’s been killing it on the bass and playing lead lines on it since she was a child. She used to be much more showy on stage before she entered puberty lol…. I’m certain she’s picked up stuff from bandmaid, but we haven’t seen any of that yet as this was all written and recorded long before that collab. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!!!! Awesome reaction
Yes Ali is totally incredible... But let's give Dany some credit once in a while, she plays complicated Riffs while singing Lead vocals all the time. Her vocals are as good as it gets...
The thing that's impressive about Pau and that smile is she had the flu at the time. I can't even get out of bed when I have the flu, and she's up there singing and smashing the drums and a smile from ear to ear!
This is why I ❤️ the comment section. The behind the scene stuff. Makes what they do much more impressive considering. They are a real gift!! Thanks Santa 🧑🎄!! 👊🤘🤘👊
You guys are spoiled! I love it! Got so much to still hear from them 🤘👍 I had this song going ever since. Probably Top 1 or 2.. def Top 5 from them. I loved making beat a lifetime ago though my intro has one I did recently. It was why my intro was longer besides it being a double (intro to video & intro to my life). Loved how she bounced that chord almost like a guitar. Tough AF & not east but Ale does it well! Hell they all do! Thank you both! More 2come 4sure!!
The Warning is an OUTSTANDING live band -- just saw them live for the 1st time this year. Well worth seeing them live!! They bring it.... For another incredible song check out Automatic Sun. They just did a performance of it at the MTV EMAs and it was epic!
Ale is generally the last one of the group to grab one's attention because Pau and Dany are SO dynamic, but the more you listen to them, the more you realize that her contribution to whole is not lesser than the other two. Ale is a stealth bomber. She's an AWESOME bassist. I suggest that you check out their cover of Alanis Morisette's You Oughta Know which really shows off Ale's bass chops. Thanks for this one. Great reaction video. 🤘😎⚡
In addition, in a previous interview, Dany and Pau related that it is Ale who usually makes the final decisions as to what stays in the song and what is taken out. She is a blunt, perceptive powerhouse within the three that they depend on when Pau and Dany disagree. As well, Ale is the metronome. She is SO on time and keeps Pau in line with subtle glances even in the middle of performances. Ale also admitted to being the spoiled one of the sisters....
Yeah, The Warning are the real deal. Among touring and recording rock bands active today, few do it as well or better. This song is a typical, "I love my job but I hate the job" song. I think every touring rock band writes one eventually. When I heard this, I thought about Bob Seger's Turn the Page.
It’s so infectious just watching her smile as she performs. It’s that type of passion that is missing in music today. She is the definition of musical art!
I wish!!! It’s been a fun journey. In my teens & 20’s I was hip hop to the core, but then someone recommended The Warning & I was hooked!!!! It filled me w/ those feels I haven’t had in forever. That led me to BAND-MAID and on & on it goes. Been a fun ride. Thanks again!!
Queens of Rock. I don't know how I missed this reaction 7 days ago but let's go. Oh, this is off their new album since June 2024. Bass driven, love it. Danny's belting, omg.
So worth it though. Makes so much more sense knowing this track was off a concept album they did. YES!!! A concept album! Couldn’t believe it but I want to hear it now!!
Thankfully…They’re all brand new to me!🫨🤔😂 This was such a banger!! All 3 have so much passion when they perform but Pau’s passion is next level! It’s almost like you can feel her emotion run right through you. No way you can’t help but to smile when she does. It makes the song that much better. The other 2 are pretty good too 🥹. Truthfully it the confidence they have in each other & themselves is so fun to follow knowing they have decades left to do this! Thank you for the comment. Appreciate it & the support 👊👍🤘
Nice reaction to TW. One suggestion would be to help your viewers out by making the window for the video playback a larger area of the screen. Thanks and keep rocking 🤘⚠️🤘
I agree and only did it because of the many copyrights I was getting. Turns out it only delays it but I will definitely make it better. Thank you for the advice. Every bit helps and I an not ashamed to admit that I’m still new to it all so this will be a huge help
Dany has a naturally low voice (for a woman), alto range we're told. Pau's sits higher, but I don't know how it would be classified. Dany's high belts are quite amazing. Great reaction, had a lot of fun watching. 👍
Dany Vocals are so incredible, especially on this song all while playing killer Riffs. Ali's Bass lines are incredible and so mesmerizing again. Pau smiles away while playing her awesome drums just amazing, especially since all 3 had the flu, Pau was the worst...
A common saying among The Warning Army is that the last song you hear is the new favorite! I think it's time for you to see where it all really took off for them with their 'Enter Sandman' cover from 2014 th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html. They wanted to show their progress to their family but the file was too big for e-mail so dad uploaded it to TH-cam, when on holiday it went viral and the rest is, very well documented, history. For the whole package you can even combine it with the omv and the Pepsi Center version they did years later.
BTW - the issue with copyright claims doesn't come from the band. They are delighted when people post reaction vids; they understand the power and usefulness in social media in terms of promoting them. And while we don't know I suspect their contract agreement with Lava is specific in not going after trivial copyright violations like reaction videos. The main problems are two-fold: Many of the recording companies hire outside agencies to "police" the 'net for copyright violations, and much of it is automated. Usually these companies are foreign (i.e. India, Russia, etc.) and often don't understand completely the rules set by each band or production company, because they are all different. The other issue, of course, are "copyright trolls" who are simply stealing monitized content via YT's absurd rules in an attempt to maintain perfect compliance with the 90s era DMCA, which is what triggered them to start doing this (again, largely automated) set of "guilty until proven innocent" rules. Pau is famous for her cymbal stops - she loves to crash, but for the sake of the song has to cut them off. And yeah, Dany's F5 note is kinda mind blowing. 😋
I absolutely understand!!! Thankfully I was able to get them taken care of. I know all about UMG & the many ways they grab that cash. Just wanted to be sure I could before I kept reacting. I’ve learned to run the video through the OBS & see if it gets flagged then use it to either blur or switch the frame rate or just flip the pic. It’s a quick learning curve for me especially since I got partner right away. So I’m taking copyright boot camp. I really appreciate you letting me know. Love meeting true fans of these bands. The are lucky for sure
Definitely gotta put that on the list after the Money Game Trilogy. Starting it today in a few, gonna be 3 vids in 1 day. Another one people told me I’d appreciate!!
They had my attention nearly seven years ago.
So much time lost. It’s amazing I’m just recently finding out about them & BAND-MAID. Both are so damn good! Thank you for the support & comment.

My favorite performance of my favorite The Warning song off of Keep Me Fed!
Charisma, emotion, talent. They've got it all!

Hell, Ale was playing "Hysteria" at age 10 like it was nothing, so it's hard to be surprised by her any more.
There is a video of her playing it as early as age 8, she is amazing.

Great reaction my friend. This song sure is a banger. Dany's vocals 🤌, Ale's bass 🤌, Pau's drumming 🤌. The Warning 🤌🤌🤌. Keep Rockin' my friend 🤘⚡🤘

Esta canción hell You call a dream en la Ciudad de México es maravillosa no se compara con otra, saludos desde México 🇲🇽 👍
👀😆🫵 Thank you!!!! Agree for real!!!
This concert was about 7 months before the collaboration with Band Maid so if Ale picked up any pointers it wasn't from their time collaborating.
We learn as we go. Lol!
Paulina 's smile makes your hear pumping❤❤❤❤❤
It’s so infectious just watching her smile as she performs. It’s that type of passion that is missing in music today. She is the definition of musical art!

Greatest live band in the world and one of the best in R&R history. Listen to the entire ERROR album -- it is a masterpiece start to finish.
I’ve heard that. Is that the conceptual album?
@@BigMikeReactions No. The concept album is "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE' --

Yea man, TW has it all, stage presence, songwriting, arrangements etc. Like your JJ jersey, Vikes 9-2 SKOL!
Notice how much of the time Dany is NOT playing,l just walking around singing. What a rhythm section they have.
For me, the two primary instruments in The Warning are Dany's voice, and Ale's bass. A stunning combination!
Don’t forget pAu’s smile. Just as electric as the bass 😅😂👍🤘
As a 3-piece, there is a lot of space to fill. Ale always goes for it. Have you heard Sharks? Ale is brutal.
