This great concert was 22 songs long and performed in 2022. There is another concert from 2023 at "Pepsi Center CDMX(Mexico City) that is this(Teatro...) on steroids. The recording of all is much better and is 23 songs. The Pepsi Center concert was for the 10th anniversary of the band's existence.

@@AceofBadeReacts they're both CDMX which is "Mexico City". The difference is "Pepsi Center"(2023) vs "Teatro Metropolitan"(2022). Just different venues . and a year apart.
"Survive" is to The Warning as "Freebird" was to Lynyrd Skynyrd. It's an old song that they continue to play. That song is now Classic Rock. BTW, Pau and Dany do have treadmills that they do sing while running and they also exercise with weights. I think Pau has a quad processor in her head because besides drumming, singing, she has a computer next to her that she uses to run the click track, any other instruments that are on backing tracks and she runs the light show and the screens behind them.
Even The Warning's improv is practiced. They've been playing with clicks almost from the begining. I wouldn't go so far as to say that the stage shows are choreographed, but they are definitely blocked out. It's their formula, and probably why we say that "live is their superpower". The ability to reliably recreate the songs as they sound on the albums while clearly enjoying themselves is pure magic.
Danny´s voice does kinda remind me of Pat Benatar, true that Pat Benatar is a trained opera singer, but Danny´s voice has the same grittiness to it. Not to mention she has Pat´s bad ass attitude when performing as well. This performance was at Teatro Metropolitan in 2022. The Warning just released their 2023 concert at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City. You might want to react to those videos instead. Everything about Pepsi Center was bigger and better than Teatro Metropolitan.
I guess this was recorded a while ago. They have never toured with Band-Maid, but they did one performance together live in Japan earlier in the year and made a music video together. They are currently touring with Evanescence and Halestorm in Canada, which ends next week.
Pau is not only a world class award winning drummer (2023 Drummeo Rock Drummer of the Year, 2023 Modern Drummer Magazine Up and Coming Drummer), she is serious songwriter, alternate lead vocalist, and music video director. As a performer, she has an uncanny ability to crawl inside a character and empathize with him/her, then emote that character's mindset and emotions so strongly that we think we're looking at her. She is very good at making faces water! Survive is a classic and a crowd favorite. These ladies gave a TEDx Talk at U. Nevada (in their second language, and a foreign country to them) at the ages of 17, 15, and 12! *Survive* was one of the songs they played. They killed it. Pau broke a drumstick during *Survive* and we get to see her handle it like an old pro!
Fun fact. Everybody knows Pau is a tiny person. Their dad got the measuring tape and saw out and cut the framework of her drums to fit her tiny self. It's pau-sized now!
I love it when a band puts out a newer performance and it isn't automatically your new favorite. As much as I love the Teatro/Pepsi Center versions and even having heard this myself a couple of times my personal pick is still their TedX performance of this song. Music is passion, music is hope, music is life!
Between the two, I'm not sure which one I like better. I did react to the TEDx performance after this one so I did have a better appreciation for it by that time

Still my favorite. Hell You Call A Dream (HYCAD) took a gallant run, but was unable to knock this masterpiece off its pedestal. In the 1980's or 1990's this probably would have had an extended dance mix, but they resisted the temptation to Freebirdize it and kept the coda to reasonable proportions. The main difference from the album (and live performance prior to 2020) is that the opening was originally on piano, but they don't normally take a keyboard on tour, so they reworked it as guitar+bass. You will note the piano backing track in the coda, but they don't use backing tracks for primary instrumentation. Ale played the opening live at that time; it had a show tunes feel to it before the instruments all jumped in. The very low guitar level in the second half of the opening sounds like it's intended -- Ale's bass is the main instrument in that section. There's a video that's set to it announcing the beginning of recording the third album; I think of it as the unofficial music video: th-cam.com/video/Bf7dyperM04/w-d-xo.html

This was recorded a few months back in June, wasn't it? The reason you said that The Warning were touring with Band Maid. Actually they went to Japan for a mini tour with just one concert with the Maids. Survive was released in 2017 as a song in their 1st LP - XXI Century Blood. So it was written in 2015-16 when they were 16 to 10 year old!!! It is a classic with The Warning Army. Many fans got hooked on to the band after watching Survive at TEDx Univ. of Nevada in 2017. BAND-MAID and The Warning played one show together in Tokyo on June 12. The Warning went on to play a solo show in Tokyo on the 13th and then another show on June 14th in Osaka. While I’m sure a lot of people would love an actual tour between the two bands, it hasn’t happened yet. I have heard the “singing on the treadmill” thing about The Warning, but that’s only come from fans who can’t tell me what their source is. It’s always something someone else said. Paulina herself has said on Instagram live that’s it’s a matter of practice. Lastly, “Survive” as it’s played here is how it’s always been played.
