When Pau breaks out that thousand-watt smile... and the crowd cheers. None of these ladies quite fully realize the impact they have on us. They are always amazed that we know the lyrics to songs they wrote when they considered themselves _children_ ... but to many of us, it was just yesterday. _Breath_ was probably a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Those of you who were there, you hopefully realize how incredible of a moment that was...
"Black Holes" is from their first album, "XXI Century Blood," released in 2017. Pau wrote this song at 13. Usually, it's performed with her sisters on bass and guitar, and their parts are strong, but the strings in this performance add something special. At a storytelling concert at Agua Fría in 2018, Pau shared this about the song (translated from Spanish): "This next song... many times people ask me what it’s about, and honestly, I don’t really like explaining it because everyone has their own interpretation. Sometimes people tell me it’s a love song or something like that, which I find super interesting. I love hearing how people interpret the song because it’s great that everyone sees it in their own way, depending on what they need at the time. But, well... this song is actually about someone who’s struggling with addiction and all the things they’re dealing with. This is 'Black Holes.'" "Breathe" was a bonus track on their third album, "ERROR," released in 2022. The label requested an extra song, so Pau recorded it at home on their slightly out-of-tune piano, and it was included on the album under the condition that she would never have to perform it live because it's a very personal song This performance at the Pepsi Center, one of their 10th anniversary shows, she decided to do it anyway. It was the first and maybe the only time this song will be played live.
Paulina is a musical genius, a great performer and a wonderful songwriter. An all around magnificent entertainer. Pau said that "Breathe" is a panic attack set to music and it's very personal to her. Someone that was at this concert said that Ale was waiting for her off stage for a huge hug after "Breathe".
FYI, this Pepsi Concert was almost canceled because the girls were recovering from the flu...Pau being the last to recover. But this concert was so important to The Warning being home in Mexico with 8000 in attendance; so they forged on... You couldn't tell they were ill!!

Love your emotional reactions. Sounds like she said "Los quiero mucho" to the audience at the end. With your knowledge of Spanish, you've got to react to Martirio (live CDMX). It's not a tearjerker, but it does give you chills when you realize the martyr dies at the end.
I've watched that original video so many times I lost count, and I never leave with dry eyes. They are all special, like you said. They just have that "something" . Thanks for sharing. Love your reactions!

Trust me, you aren’t the only one who cries at this performance of Breathe. And to think she had to come back a couple of minutes later and rock out to their version of Enter Sandman. 👍😎
The think make me crash in tears the first time i saw this performance, was when she broke her voice and all her mad lovers fans sing and end the song for her!! AMAZING, great emotions there!!!
super reaction Abi loved it I remember the 1st time I saw "The Warning" they were just school girls playing in their garage and already so talented your reaction was super nothing wrong with tears both those songs were very emotional and she sang from deep inside I was pretty much bawling myself threw both songs and dam she's the drummer and just burned up the keys crazy talented young lady keep smiling Abi I'm going to subscribe...
Breathe. This damn song gets me every single time. To some of us who know the girls over 10 years and have watched them grow up; It hits SO MUCH harder to see our little Pau cry.
Both songs, Pau, the crowd... It was an epic show!! For the umpteenth time I've seen this version of "Breath" and it's the same number of times that my tears flow despite my wishes to the contrary. Also, your very emotional reaction. This was a well-rounded, complete reaction... Thank you for that and greetings from México!! 🤟😁✌️ .
🤣I laughed when I saw that you realized that the emotion would continue and I know (I haven't even gotten to the end yet, that the sequel... will break you)!! 😘😘
Great Reaction ⚡⚡⚡ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Do not beat yourself up for calling Pau your favorite ❤ We all love them all, but the old timers know that one ( different for each of us) will creep a little deeper into your heart than the other two. For me it's Pau too. 🤷 I LOVE THIS BAND !! ✌️💖🎼🎶
In the full concert video, Pau says, “It’s not fair! I swear you guys will make me cry.” (paraphrased), between the two songs. And, yes, they did.. But nowhere near as much as she made everyone cry.
It’s the lyrics and the meaning behind the song Breathe that was so hard for her in the end. As she said at the start, she never was going to perform Breathe live. It’s too personal for her
Still in ads... I bet you cry!! Will edit! So... after wiping my eyes again... and again.. yeah.. She breaks us every single time She ended with "I love you very much" and of course "Thank you". Pau is a beast.. and these two songs are played back to back in the CDMX October 2023 concert. My daughters came running from the other room as soon as they heard Pau and Black Holes.. it's a recurring double song here at home! These 3 sisters are changing the world... love them.. I am so proud of them and I am not their father!
@@Abigirl_Reacts they are gems.. amd both musical. Music is always playing here at home. They identify 80s/90s metal & rock songs during the initial chords.. its crazy!
Hi Abi, I tear up every time. When my son catches me, he always asks, “Are you crying again?” I always reply, “I’m not crying. SHE’S crying.” (This time pointing at you.) Four years ago Pau did a cover of Creep on piano. Three years ago Dany did a cover of Billie Eilish on piano. And Ale at age 6 on the piano, doing Diabelli -Sonatina Op 168 No 1 Rondo 4th movement (Whew!) It’s like, this is what they do away from stage!
I think everyone cries during this video. I’m an older guy and my eyes get watery every time. Dany has a similar moment on Her song When I’m Alone. That is a must see performance as well.
*Black Holes* a song about addiction written by 13yo Pau (drums)... it was released on their 1st album, _"XXI Century Blood"_ back on Mar 27, 2017 when they were an independent band... this track/song hits very close to home for many listeners... especially if they have dealt with addiction of their own or that of someone close to them... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
When Pau added Breathe to the Keep Fed Album when Lava/Republic requested one more for the album; Pau said fine, but on the condition she not sing it live. Yet, here on the 10th anniversary concert she decided to sing it - this once. Obviously, special & emotional meaning for her. Very special/brave young lady she is.
Re: Black Holes: Yeah, I think I’d be emotional, as well, if I were 21 years old and had a crowd of 8000+ fans singing the words of a song that was written at age 13 back at me.
The song is amazing but the more amazing thing to me is Pau wrote this at 13 after reading an article about addiction. How a 13 year old takes the emotions from an article and transforms it into a work of beauty is just crazy. But that is Pau
this Pepsi Center performance was the 3rd of the three 10th Anniversary concerts... they played the same performance in Guadalajara (Oct 21, 2023, Teatro Diana - 2500+), Monterrey (Oct 25, 2023, Pabellon M - 4500+), and Mexico City (Oct 28, 2023, Pepsi Center - 8000+)... all three performances had the same set list (with a notable difference or two), same costumes, same stage design and light show (or as close as possible for the venue)... they premiered *S!ck* and *Hell You Call A Dream* in Guadalajara and they had the 10-piece string sections with them at all three... the lighting was done by the same guy, Brian Bogovic, that does Halestorm's lighting... he had some free time that matched DPA/TW's schedule so they made things happen... somewhere is a BTS showing them working on the lighting programming and controls at the office before doing it all actually setup... very cool stuff... i saw all three performances via live fan cam streams and they were ... i mean, "WOW!" doesn't even begin to describe it... i remember the double surprise when *S!ck* and *HYCAD* were premiered in Guadalajara... and the surprise when the string section appeared out of nowhere for *Black Holes* and *Enter Sandman* was indescribable... Pau playing *Breathe* right after *Black Holes* here in Mexico City was a monstrous surprise to everyone watching... there were a lot more than 8000 pairs of eyes overflowing from that portion of the set... i fully enjoyed seeing them and only miss not actually being there... Just a beautiful reaction to a beautiful performance- can’t tell you how many times I’ve viewed this performance and tears everytime. Caught you harmonizing w/Pau at the end of Black Holes- you sound amazing 🤩 Thank you for your reactions-
That rasp from Pau. She was suffering from the flu - as were her sisters - but she had it badly enough that their physician gave her some steroids so she could perform. Instead of cancelling the concert, knowing there were over 8,000 tickets sold, they didn't want to disappoint their audience. They performed at 7,000 feet in that rarified atmosphere while that sick because they know their bond with their fans is reciprocal, not just one-way. THIS is why I love them along with their music, their performance, their composition and their professionalism. Most of all, they are just wonderful women.
That reciprocity is demonstrated when the crowd knows she won't be able to finish the song, so they finish it for her. That is a soul-deep connection between artist and audience. Cherish the tears. Cherish the vulnerability. Cherish the integrity. Cherish the shared experience of communion.
Even us old guys cant hold it together and Ive seen this countless times. Just too good. When you said lets hope the next one is upbeat, I knew you were in trouble.
Cry every time I watch this! Pau wrote this song with the intention of never singing it live and it will be a long time before she does again! Pau writes all of her songs on the piano and then the band adapts it to their instruments!!!😊🎶⚡️
Oh, Abi. I know exactly what you mean about the pain in your throat. I get it, too. This time, as soon as YOU got emotional, it triggered me AGAIN! Pau is simply a treasure. I love hiw aooreciativevthe crowd was. And when she told them not to sing, they tried so hard. I love your reactions.
You and your crooked-ass glasses did the reaction very very well. I actually saw 2 BHS/Breathe reactions today and they were both good, but it doesn't always go so well. I think you know how to 'submit' to the experience of music very naturally. Maybe that sounds weird, but people so often try to 'have a take' or 'put in perspective' things they could just experience and allow to resonate, literally, within themselves. Paulina is such a force of nature isn't she? You know, we fans were a bit teased about this performance for a year or so when fan-cams would come out showing it, but when it was finally released officially, the whole Pepsi-Center concert just blew our gorram minds, and maybe nowhere as significantly as in these two songs, which people knew but hadn't heard performed live in a long time (BHS), or ever (Breathe). It's a special moment. Thanks for your great reactions to The Warning. It is comforting to get to listen alongside you and realize I'm not alone with my awe.
All three spent the day in the Hospital getting fluids. Nothing can stop them from being exeptional. I am 68 this week, and these ladies are my pretend Grand Daughters. Viva La Warning!!

Thank you so much for reacting to these two songs together, if you had done it one by one it wouldn't be the same. In my case no matter how many times I listen Pau singing Breathe I feel emotional and tears automatically roll down my eyes. I don't know how to explain this but these two songs make me feel empathy foŕ the pain of the other, more than my own. Dany does also a solo song in the same concert "When I am alone" she is amazing too. Again thank you for your reaction 💙
@Abigirl_Reacts I don't know how it happens but many of the Warning fans we really love them so much and really wish them the best, I never felt this way towards any Rock band.. but it happened with these three sisters. If one day you react towards Dimash SOS song or any of his songs I will watch you... see you around 💙
I don't really think it's nerve-wracking as such for her to be alone on stage. She was gonna be perfectly steady if she had just done Black Holes, which was the original plan. It was the song. She had only agreed to even include Breathe on the album after she made the label, management and her sisters promise she'd never have to sing it live, because the song is about a very personal loss. She decided to do it spur of the moment, after the crowd support on Black Holes, which is also why there's not even subtle string arrangements for Breathe. So this live performance may, quite literally, be a once in a lifetime occurrence.
Thanks!
I appreciate the tip, thank you so much for watching and for the love and generosity!

TW will melt your face or break you emotionally both are amazing. Great reaction Pau causes the tears to flow when she sings what a gift DPA are all 3 play piano just another incredible fact about these ladies. Thank you and Kevin for this back to back I cry every time.🔥⚡
Shout out to you Kevin!
Thanks Terry, and Thanks Abi... The TWA Rules!!! 🔥🤘😎🤘🔥
Trust me, you aren’t the only one who cries at this performance of Breathe. And to think she had to come back a couple of minutes later and rock out to their version of Enter Sandman. 👍😎
Haha that's one way to transition back into rock
When Paulina gets behind the piano, get ready for the tears!
Good advice!
The think make me crash in tears the first time i saw this performance, was when she broke her voice and all her mad lovers fans sing and end the song for her!! AMAZING, great emotions there!!!
Yea hearing the crowd was insane.
Always make me cry, dangit!
Its those damn onions have lying around!
@@Abigirl_Reacts Oh rite the onions I knew that
Every. Single. Time.
super reaction Abi loved it I remember the 1st time I saw "The Warning" they were just school girls playing in their garage and already so talented your reaction was super nothing wrong with tears both those songs were very emotional and she sang from deep inside I was pretty much bawling myself threw both songs and dam she's the drummer and just burned up the keys crazy talented young lady keep smiling Abi I'm going to subscribe...
Thanks so much for subbing and welcome! ^_^
At the end she said "Los quiero muchísimo", "I love you so much".
I finally heard it after the 5th replay lol I just kept hearing applause!
Breathe. This damn song gets me every single time. To some of us who know the girls over 10 years and have watched them grow up; It hits SO MUCH harder to see our little Pau cry.
I bet!
i've been watched that song, that performance hundred of times but this time along with you almost got me... TY
Thanks for watching ^_^
"Even black holes let me be!" ;) That is one talented drummer ;)
Yes and she deserves all the awards! ^_^
One of my favorite performances. Pau is amazing.
She truly is.
I ALWAYS cry when I listen to breathe, I love Paulina
It took me a few listens but I got it!
🤟😁✌️
.
Thank you so much for watching ^_^
🤣I laughed when I saw that you realized that the emotion would continue and I know (I haven't even gotten to the end yet, that the sequel... will break you)!! 😘😘
You called it!
Powerful interpretations by Paulina. Wonderful reaction, thanks 🤍
Thanks for watching ^_^
Great Reaction ⚡⚡⚡
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do not beat yourself up for calling Pau your favorite ❤
We all love them all, but the old timers know that one ( different for each of us) will creep a little deeper into your heart than the other two. For me it's Pau too. 🤷
I LOVE THIS BAND !!
✌️💖🎼🎶
Me too! Thanks for watching
In the full concert video, Pau says, “It’s not fair! I swear you guys will make me cry.” (paraphrased), between the two songs. And, yes, they did.. But nowhere near as much as she made everyone cry.
So true
Reminds me of Lara Fabians je t'aime live in paris 2001.... that performance always makes me tear up and this one got me close to tearing up too.
That seems like the normal reaction to this one 😅
She said "los quiero muchisimo," I love you guys very much.
I finally heard it on the 5th listen haha
In this concert at the Pepsi Center CDMX, Daniela performs "Whem I'm Alone" alone with acoustic guitar. You have to check it out 😉
Coming soon!
Pau is such a beautiful soul.
💯
Thanks for introducing me to these incredibly talented ladies. Incredibly moving performance. A great reaction as always Abi. ☺️
Thanks to the requests for introducing me to this wonderful band!
@Abigirl_Reacts okay I take it back. Thanks requesters 😉😂
I cry every time, and I have watched it multiple times. And I'm a 72 y/o man.
Thanks for watching ^_^
It’s the lyrics and the meaning behind the song Breathe that was so hard for her in the end. As she said at the start, she never was going to perform Breathe live. It’s too personal for her
I'm jealous of those who got to see this performance live
Still in ads... I bet you cry!!
Will edit!
So... after wiping my eyes again... and again.. yeah.. She breaks us every single time
She ended with "I love you very much" and of course "Thank you".
Your daughters sound adorable!
@@Abigirl_Reacts they are gems.. amd both musical. Music is always playing here at home. They identify 80s/90s metal & rock songs during the initial chords.. its crazy!
Best song about addiction I’ve ever heard. Pau wrote it when she was 13.
So impressive! 🤘😊🤘
Those were recently requested via buy me a coffee. Pretty sure I'm doing those soon!
Yeah it usually only takes 20 seconds or so to get sucked in to the emotions of Pau 's incredible voice.. Viva The Warning!!! 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
🤘😊🤘
I think everyone cries during this video. I’m an older guy and my eyes get watery every time. Dany has a similar moment on Her song When I’m Alone. That is a must see performance as well.
Coming soon! Dany that is
@@Abigirl_Reacts You’ll enjoy it.
Breathe. Tears. Every. Time. When she stops as the crowd sings she says to herself…don’t cry, don’t cry.
Yep haha
*Black Holes*
a song about addiction written by 13yo Pau (drums)... it was released on their 1st album, _"XXI Century Blood"_ back on Mar 27, 2017 when they were an independent band...
this track/song hits very close to home for many listeners... especially if they have dealt with addiction of their own or that of someone close to them...
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
So impressive! 🤘😊🤘
Wow, I’m with you through black holes… thinking to myself… if we’re this emotional now, Breathe’s going to be impossible to get through
It was incredible
Love these songs, Love this band and that was a beautiful reaction.
Thanks for watching ^_^
When Pau added Breathe to the Keep Fed Album when Lava/Republic requested one more for the album; Pau said fine, but on the condition she not sing it live. Yet, here on the 10th anniversary concert she decided to sing it - this once. Obviously, special & emotional meaning for her. Very special/brave young lady she is.
I'm jealous of those that got to witness this performance live!
These two hit hard every time.
💯
Tears in my eyes again... I wish I could hit the 'Like' button more than once!!!
Hehe if only!
Perfect reaction Abi, you expressed what we all feel when we watch these songs. Thank you
Thanks for watching ^_^
Re: Black Holes: Yeah, I think I’d be emotional, as well, if I were 21 years old and had a crowd of 8000+ fans singing the words of a song that was written at age 13 back at me.
Pretty much!
WE LOVE YOU PAU!!! ❤💔❤💔❤
🥰🥰🥰🥰
The song is amazing but the more amazing thing to me is Pau wrote this at 13 after reading an article about addiction. How a 13 year old takes the emotions from an article and transforms it into a work of beauty is just crazy. But that is Pau
So impressive! 🤘😊🤘
this Pepsi Center performance was the 3rd of the three 10th Anniversary concerts... they played the same performance in Guadalajara (Oct 21, 2023, Teatro Diana - 2500+), Monterrey (Oct 25, 2023, Pabellon M - 4500+), and Mexico City (Oct 28, 2023, Pepsi Center - 8000+)... all three performances had the same set list (with a notable difference or two), same costumes, same stage design and light show (or as close as possible for the venue)... they premiered *S!ck* and *Hell You Call A Dream* in Guadalajara and they had the 10-piece string sections with them at all three... the lighting was done by the same guy, Brian Bogovic, that does Halestorm's lighting... he had some free time that matched DPA/TW's schedule so they made things happen... somewhere is a BTS showing them working on the lighting programming and controls at the office before doing it all actually setup... very cool stuff...
i saw all three performances via live fan cam streams and they were ... i mean, "WOW!" doesn't even begin to describe it... i remember the double surprise when *S!ck* and *HYCAD* were premiered in Guadalajara... and the surprise when the string section appeared out of nowhere for *Black Holes* and *Enter Sandman* was indescribable... Pau playing *Breathe* right after *Black Holes* here in Mexico City was a monstrous surprise to everyone watching... there were a lot more than 8000 pairs of eyes overflowing from that portion of the set... i fully enjoyed seeing them and only miss not actually being there...
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Thanks for taking the time to write your insightful comment! ^_^
Just a beautiful reaction to a beautiful performance- can’t tell you how many times I’ve viewed this performance and tears everytime. Caught you harmonizing w/Pau at the end of Black Holes- you sound amazing 🤩
Thank you for your reactions-
Thanks for watching (and listening!) 🤘😊🤘
That rasp from Pau. She was suffering from the flu - as were her sisters - but she had it badly enough that their physician gave her some steroids so she could perform. Instead of cancelling the concert, knowing there were over 8,000 tickets sold, they didn't want to disappoint their audience. They performed at 7,000 feet in that rarified atmosphere while that sick because they know their bond with their fans is reciprocal, not just one-way. THIS is why I love them along with their music, their performance, their composition and their professionalism. Most of all, they are just wonderful women.
That's dedication
That reciprocity is demonstrated when the crowd knows she won't be able to finish the song, so they finish it for her. That is a soul-deep connection between artist and audience. Cherish the tears. Cherish the vulnerability. Cherish the integrity. Cherish the shared experience of communion.
I think that one cellist was close to tears as well.
Haha I'll have to take a closer look
And she is not the lead singer....
What an incredible band!
Right?! So impressive! 🤘😊🤘
Even us old guys cant hold it together and Ive seen this countless times. Just too good.
When you said lets hope the next one is upbeat, I knew you were in trouble.
YEP lol
Cry every time I watch this! Pau wrote this song with the intention of never singing it live and it will be a long time before she does again! Pau writes all of her songs on the piano and then the band adapts it to their instruments!!!😊🎶⚡️
For sure! Glad she didn't keep her word on never playing it live!
Pau cries = the reactor cries = the person watching cries = "The Pau Effect"
Haha very cool! I like that effect lmao
I can't believe I triggered you haha it's infectious I tell ya!
Yes Paulina is a pau-erful force of nature 💯
I have heard these two songs many many times and I still blubber to Breathe.
Its beautiful 😍
Great heart felt reaction to a beautiful performance. You weren't alone in the onion cutting. Keep Rockin' my friend 🤘⚡🤘
Those dang onions just kept appearing!
All three spent the day in the Hospital getting fluids. Nothing can stop them from being exeptional. I am 68 this week, and these ladies are my pretend Grand Daughters. Viva La Warning!!
I didn't more they needed fluid, crazy!
She said los quero muchisimo or I love you all so much.
I finally heard it on the 5th listen haha
Yo he llorado tantas veces con esta canción que de verdad me parece increíble, de hecho la primera canción que me hizo llorar de ellas fue Revenant🫶🥹
I'll have to take a listen to that one too!
@@Abigirl_ReactsRevenant from teatro Metropolitan is a beautiful song.
And now ladies and gentlemen, the monster of the drums.......oopss sorry,,,, the angel of the piano.
Pau is so talented!
EPIC PERFORMANCE FROM PAU ... WE LUV YA PAU !!! TEAR JERKER EVERY TIME . THANKS FOR SHARING !!! DID YOU REACT TO DANY SINGING "WHEN I'M ALONE" ... SOLO PERFORMANCE WITH AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR ...EPIC !
Not yet but coming very soon!
@@Abigirl_Reacts IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG DANY TALKS TO THE AUDIENCE IN SPANISH,VERY HEARTFELT DIALOGUE. I SPEAK, READ AND UNDERSTAND SPANISH BUT MANY FANS DO NOT, CONSIDER MAYBE USING CAPTIONS FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW SPANISH....BEST TO YOU AND YOURS !!!
I will ty
Crushing performance. Taratata (French radio) just uploaded the Warning performing an acoustic version of "Que Mas Quieres". It's awesome and Ale's vocals really stand out. Definitely worth a watch. th-cam.com/video/QSCgQRhs2CI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-4QfVjDxYDjIHlnl
Yessss thank you so much for the link! This really helps ^_^
" Sucked the tears right back into the tear ducts". All I could think was " lets see if they stay in when she hits Breathe...
Haha it was tough to do that
This!!! lol
I bet Dany's performance is just as touching!
@Abigirl_Reacts
I don't know how it happens but many of the Warning fans we really love them so much and really wish them the best, I never felt this way towards any Rock band.. but it happened with these three sisters.
If one day you react towards Dimash SOS song or any of his songs I will watch you... see you around 💙
I think Pau is a gift of gods. She has something i can't describe.
💯
Love u a lot, she said. Impossible to not cry, and it’s Ok. girl. That’s the way. Love from Perú. Deep rocking!
🤘😊🤘
I don't really think it's nerve-wracking as such for her to be alone on stage. She was gonna be perfectly steady if she had just done Black Holes, which was the original plan. It was the song. She had only agreed to even include Breathe on the album after she made the label, management and her sisters promise she'd never have to sing it live, because the song is about a very personal loss. She decided to do it spur of the moment, after the crowd support on Black Holes, which is also why there's not even subtle string arrangements for Breathe. So this live performance may, quite literally, be a once in a lifetime occurrence.
Hey I understand! It was one hell of a performance and I'm glad we got to see it!
