This song brings tears, because I've lost both of my parents. And in case you didn't know, Chris wrote this for Gwyneth after her dad died. Very touching!
The first 3 albums were all solid and then they went a different direction (more pop) and didn't appeal to me. The band Train was the same way. Loved their first 2 albums and then they kind of lost me.
You definitely need to see them live. They put on a helluva show. And when they play this it’s pretty magical. The only other comparable live experience for me for a song was when U2 would play Where The Streets Have No Name. The entire stadium is on fire during these two songs when played live.
You two are a beautiful, classy and respectful couple. A shining light of musical discovery and exploration in dark times. Wish the best for both of you, happiness, joy, satisfaction, abundance and good health.

Hi Guys, my nephew in Ireland bought me their debut album which is very good, but I never followed up on them. Their music has been used alot on tv with certain events & promotions. I do know they have very big stadium concerts that are extravagant to say the least now, and I have seen clips. Impressive to watch but it still never got me to buy albums. After a twice broken home, I’m drawn like a moth to the broken girls. I tried to fix the bulemic for six years. I tried to fix the alcoholic Hollywood executive girlfriend. I realized that I was dealing with my pain the way they were with theirs & i needed the fixing. So I’m on the path. Thanks for the revisitation.

Best known for his hit, I Left My Heart in San Francisco but two of my favourites, The Good Life and The Shadow of Your Smile would be a fitting tribute.
It’s one of the most gorgeous and emotional songs ever created. I’ve shed a few tears to it when I’m in my dark place at times. It really speaks to the human existence. Sometimes we need lights to guide us home and to fix ourselves to keep going on
I've never really got into Coldplay even though my best friend and my sister love CP... I like some of their songs, nothing more. I had never heard this song and to me it's just an other song. They remind me of U2 as far as how big they are and how I'm not hooked, although there are some U2 songs that I love.
U2 was great before they started singing cheesy love songs 🤣 I saw them live in 1985 right before they turned commercial... for me New years day and Sunday bloody sunday are epic songs. Of the later albums I liked the song Bullet the blue sky .... and Coldplay ? no thank you ... not for me 🥴
I enjoyed the first two Coldplay albums where they still played from more of an indie/post-britpop background. With 'X&Y' they suddenly wanted to be the next U2 but lost their charme for me. Nowadays they are a dull band trying to connect with contemporary pop trends.
