Totally underrated song! - A masterpiece just like "Bohemian Rhapsody", because it's totally different than anything else in today's mainstream music. But Coldplay really hits with live performances! You should watch them with "Fix you (Live in Sao Paulo)" and "A Sky Full of Stars (Live at River Plate)" The engagement of the crowd is insane!
I've always loved Coldplay because of how the music makes me feel and think. I'm not an expert can't sing can't play any instrument but I love music that moves me and this track did EXACTLY THAT LOL a new favourite I think. Your bang on with your reaction I even thought of Mike oldfield at one point. A TRUE MASTERPIECE I.M.H.O.
I feel like this is Coldplay's version of a Pink Floyd song. Not trying to copy them or amything, but a beautiful long song with different musical sections. I like to call it progressive soft rock😊
wow, this is really beautiful, start to finish, it reminds me of Pink Floyd with the production, great song, Thank you Paul Z for a great request and as always, Thank you NicknLex for a great reaction, Love you guys.
Well that was a surprise! I'm also a kind of passive Coldplay fan; I like some of their songs but do not dive deeply into their albums and only have their second album 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' in my collection, so this was a side of them I wouldn't have anticipated. They sure know how to connect with an audience though. I watched their Saturday headline gig at Glastonbury on TV a few weeks ago and it was a real experience, showing the headliners from the other two nights how to do it at that special venue.
ThX Paul Z., NicknLex. Great song. I've heard some Coldplay that I've liked but this is super-duper. Gives me side 2 Dark Side of the Moon vibes, Us and Them - Eclipse. 👍 Cheers
About the crying part , fix you always makes me cry in every context , so I was at their concert recently and when fix you started I was crying as usual , almost 40 years of age next to a 13 years old kid who is crying too , I will never forget this moment in my life
There is a piece in the middle that is so reminiscent of a Beatles song, but would need to listen again to figure it out...Superb track again from Coldplay! 'In the end it's all about the love were sending out'...So what's the Beatles track?
Nick and Lex, Thank you for this wonderful reaction! Coldplay gets so much hate because they became more of a "pop" group that writes catchy songs, instead of continuing what they did in their early days as a band. Even so, media/music critics (or anyone) can never convince me that Coldplay is a horrible band. To be clear, I do try and respect anyone's music opinions or tastes. Oftentimes I feel guilty liking music that I KNOW I like because music critics call it bad. However, music speaks to people in countless ways for countless reasons. And I simply cannot deny the feelings correlated to specific music I've heard and love. So, thank you for an honest reaction to Coloratura (I don't know the meaning/origin of the title haha!) With that said, I know most of Coldplay's songs by heart because I grew up listening to them! And I'm pretty sure it won't happen, but I would love to see them continue in this musical direction and make a 2 hour long album with 10-20 minute progressive songs just to shock everyone. 😆 Also, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your channel. I recently found it through progressive rock reactions, and I immediately subscribed to it after the first video I watched (which doesn't happen often). There are things you two say about music or life in general that I would say/agree with myself! I can tell you are really genuine and I appreciate that! Again, thanks! Sorry this is so long! P.S. Do watch that music video (they have a lot of cool, but weird, music videos)
I've never been a big Coldplay fan, not that it's not good, it's just doesn't peek my interest I guess.... My sister on the hand and my friend are huge Coldplay fans!
Best song I have from them in a very long time. I really checked out on this band after viva la vida album! Which was stellar! After that I did not enjoy the path they took! To overly poppy and just not for me! This was excellent! Thanks for the request!❤
Absolutely stunning song. I’m not exaggerating when I say this song greatly impacted how I view life ❤️ Coldplays finest work

Coldplay is an emperience.

Coloratura is Latin for to color - in opera it means trills arpeggios etc for the soprano voice

This song is a masterpiece. Full stop. I encourage you to see the live version of this song on Howard Stern. The live version is mind blowing!
This song is so underrated
That's the best and complexest Coldplaysong in their hole career.
Nick and Lex,
Thank you for this wonderful reaction!

Estos hicieron 10 shows seguidos en 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷 estadio RIVER PLATE a estadio lleno todos los días y tocaban de música ligera de SODA STEREO
Wow!!!
@@NicknLex si es verdad 10 shows seguidos igual a mi no me gusta prefiero al indio
En la Ciudad de México tocaron Coloratura la versión completa. ^_^ ❤
I've never been a big Coldplay fan, not that it's not good, it's just doesn't peek my interest I guess....

You should listen to "Moving to Mars" from Coldplay... You may like it
Everyone stop what your doing and go watch this song live on the Howard stern show, it’s spectacular
React "clocks" to Coldplay
梦幻一般的宇宙,你仿佛可以看到天体在巨穹中运行的轨迹,solo部分好像有yes的影子

They went pop for the singles, but remained quite experimental on the albums as a whole. There's absolute gems on every album.
Try Everyday Life!
