I've been looking how to do the side-by-side interview for days on TH-cam and all other videos are way too long and convoluted. Yours is a life saver. Thank you for the quick and to the point solution video.

Great video! Love how you explain things and please, please, please... keep this style going, love it and you have a great voice and way to talk about the details. time to get into DaVinci. I wish Riverside was also on MacOS and not just iOS.

Great!!!! as far as the delete at 05:30 you can do a thing called ripple delete and it will delete from the cut mark back to either the beginning and move the rest of the tracks to the left, or if there is a clip before it will shift all the clips back to that previous clip. a lot faster and less painful than moving all the tracks each time. and also avoids possible misalignment of tracks on accident.

How do you combine riverside with davinci resolve ? I already have davinci but not riverside. I need to understand better the functionalities between them

I've searched high and low, and no one seems to have a quick workflow for going between a two-shot and focusing on one speaker. Of course I could manually adjust this for every cut, but that seems insane. There's got to be a better way?

Question! How do you set it up so that the edit is actually switching back and forth between speakers, instead of having them both on the screen at once? Is there an easy way to do this?

If you record on Riverside, you can make the layout full frame AI before exporting. This will automatically switch back and forth between the speakers.

When you going to provide a similar export timeline feature for Resolve like you have for Final Cut and Adobe Premiere?

Normalization is the last step. You don't start with that.
