That sounds so juicy. I just lined up a 1982 Super Bass and if it sounds anywhere near as good as that I will be very happy. It really packs a punch with that SG!
There’s definitely lots of Plexi clones out there. I’m sure a lot hit the mark. I couldn’t say myself. I’ve only really ever played late 60’s and early 70’s Marshalls. Hard to beat an old tube amp and an old cab with old speakers!

That is THE sound!
Love your tremolo and playing !
I would never leave that garage!
You play really well!! Obviously inspired by Angus.
I have a 73 Super Bass 100 with a 73 4x12 cab with G12H 55hz...paint blows off the wall
Great sound!
Really nice tone!
Can you get this tone on other amps? How? Which ones? It’s what I’ve been trying to get forever. Sounds great! Really the sweet spot!!

Are you playing thru the hot plate? I absolutely love to crank my Marshall’s into my original 68 1935A but I’m always worried I’ll blow a speaker
I am yes. My amp tech always bugs me about it. I’ve been using it for years with no issues. But my ears would explode if I didn’t use it! Haha
Please post more!
How does it hold up against an 800 ? Nice playing
Honestly I’ve never tried any of the JCM heads. Always ever played the JTM’s and JMP’s.
Lemmy used this amp for his bass.
Dude sick! What pickups are in that SG?
Still the factory PAF’s. It’s a stock 1971 SG.
Sounds great! What amp settings were you running?
Presence-1, Bass-5, Middle-5, Treble-5, Volume #1 - 6-8, Volume #2 - 0
@@Wutanfallwerke Nice, man. Sounds killer!
Is that a real late 60s cab? Sounds perfect
looptheloops sure is! It’s a 1969 Marshall 1960B cabinet with pre-role Celestions.
