Fortune Auto 86 coilovers for the Starlet kp61

Today were installing the Fortune Auto AE86 True rear coilovers on the Starlet. Really easy installation. Any questions just comment bellow :)

Good stuff man! Glad the videos are starting up again. I would spray some paint/primer on the areas where you cut away some of the metal so that you stop the rust from starting up.

Nice video. I'm in the market for new coilovers I am definitely looking at the Fortunes but I hear that AE86 rear true coils don't exactly fit in a startlet... they look like they fit in yours. Does your starlet show signs of previously being massaged to accept these coils? I was going to pick up Group-D coils for the rear and Fortunes in the front because of this... I don't want to have to hammer/massage my Starlet if I don't have to.

For the rear Coilovers, my car was “converted” to true. It already had a True rear coilover setup but I’m unsure if there was work needed to get it to fit. My Coilovers popped in easy with no work. I will make a follow up video where I’ll jack up the car to inspect it after driving it for 2-3 months. Danny with the white KP/ S2000 swap has full fortune auto Coilovers on his car for a few years and i haven’t heard of any issues from him 👍

I got whatever came with the kit “stock”. I’ll dig through my garage this weekend for the paper they gave me, it should have the spring rate info on it.
