eufysecurity - I like to receive an S40 due to the solar panel feature and I don't need to manually bring it down and charge it. Set it and leave it and no wires to deal with.
“eufysecurity” - I’d love to try out the s40 to compare it against the Wyze, Ring, Nest, Blink, and Arlo cameras that I already own. If I would be lucky enough to win the giveaway, I would replace the Wyze v2 that I have in my patio. Thank you LifeHackster and Eufy for the giveaway.
My business got broken into and thieves stole all my tools, power equipment, and components. No insurance coverage because they charge way too much. Unfortunately I have had the sad realization that nowhere in my city is safe any longer when these people work with impunity and police are entirely useless for anything except speed and tint tickets. I feel like I'm taking the power back into my own hands and this video helped me decide on what system and brand of camera to get that offers instant notifications, good accuracy, and a way for me to discourage/scare off unwanted guests all from my home. Thank you for this informative video.
The review many have been waiting for. All in one with built in solar for a clean sleek product. Confirming recording while not connected to wifi is huge. Honestly with memory storage being so cheap and small, they couldve easily included bigger or make it expandable memory and possibly beat out ALL others in the industry with wireless/battery powered cams for 24/7 recording in the most convenient and least maintenance way. I could see them holding it back for a future or pro version.

Great idea EUFYSECURITY, I set our house up with an eufycam 2C system. Sooo easy to to set up. Have bought more cameras to add on. Was easy to convince Mum to get a system also. Now my Father-in-law wants to replace ARLO with EFUY. No doubt me showing them my new SOLOCAM S40s will have them racing to the shops. Thanks for keeping us safe.
I purchased Eufy based on your review, and we love the Eufy. You address my questions about the S40, and today is Black Friday :-) Thank you so much for your informed reviews.
eufysecurity - These cameras will be installed around my house - 1) Monitor driveway and garage 2) Backyard 3) Front yard. I'd like to get the S40 as its an integrated camera with all the best features, its got solar panel, its got flood light, its got a fantastic 2K camera and a fantastic software to enable these features; how could anyone chose something else. Thank you Eufy for release the S40, this shows you've listened to customer reviews and have updated accordingly. Having the solar panel and flood light integrated gives a clean look and gives the best solution; and this is the reason why I will be getting this for my home, unless I am chosen as the winner. Thank you LifeHackster for this in-depth review, this definitely is very helpful.
Awesome! Put in a wired outdoor cam about three weeks ago and I'm really loving it! Going to put one of these on the opposite corner where I can't reach a light for power.
How is this camera working for you a year later. I bought the Solar 2k camera and so far so good, but wondering about its durability. Ring can't compete with the video quality but man are those some durable cameras.
This video is very comprehensive and solved my issue where the Floodlight wouldn't come on. These days you get no paper instructions and you basically have to work the App out for yourself. Customer Support in Australia is virtually non existent. The FAQ section is no real help either. Why would the Spotlight not come on when you set Black and White when the Spotlight is set to ON? In the section showing the Diagram of the Camera they show everything but don't even mention the Spotlight as if it doesn't exist. The manual button that you pointed out is the first time I have see the Spotlight working. It takes people like you to explain how things work. Why can't Eufy produce a video? Anyway, keep up the good work. For this reason I subscribed to your Channel.
eufysecurity - I will be using this to replace one of my three Arlo Pro 3 cameras. Arlo’s 3-month trial subscription will expire in a few weeks, and I’m not looking forward to paying $9.99/month for full functionality. Also, the batteries need to be charged every 2 months or so. The S40 looks like a worthy replacement. No monthly fees and no need to ever recharge. Perfect!
I like to have SoloCam S40 for my front door porch eave facing the sun. The porch is on the ground level and will give me a signal at night in my 3rd level bedroom. What I love most is the camera’s endless solar power and an 8gb internal storage. These are the very utmost quality features I need and alit of users will find unequaled by other brands.
Because of your video, I bought 5 of these, they are working great except one died in about 6 months. Eufy instantly replaced it and paid for the return. The bottom line is excellent customer service. With the one that monitors my street mailbox, the quality was so good that the cops arrested them in 2 days.
“Eufysecurity” with a baby on the way, would love a camera to be able to protect my family! The thing I really like about this camera is no need to recharge it, as it is solar! Keep up the great reviews!
I got tired of paying a subscription for my ring cameras and have been looking for an alternative without a sub. I think I found what I’m looking for now! Ty
Excellent review. You really put it through its paces. I've had mine for a couple of weeks and it has spotted a bear and a fox. The siren scared the fox but the bear only looked slightly amused. It's a great camera.
Eufysecurity looks amazing. I would love to have this installed over my garage doors. It would be awesome to monitor my driveway. The integrated solar panel is a fantastic idea. Looks like an amazing security camera.
LH you've done another amazing job in commentating this new outdoor surveillance camera, you are truly amazing at what you do and I really appreciate your truthfulness!
I originally thought Nest would be legitimate competition to Ring, but with Eufy's creativity, I think once they work out some kinks, they will be the competition Ring really has to worry about. This is the second camera from Eufy that you've reviewed that I would consider purchasing.
I just purchased one after watching your video and can't wait to get it (Saturday) and put it up... After charging ... I like the part where you did inform us that the camera will record even with "no" wifi ... That's a big plus because of the area that we live in ... Down south and on the East coast ... So can't wait to see how it works for me along with my other security cameras .... Thanks again for a great informed video ... Job well done ....
This camera looks very impressive, what l like about it is the built-in solar panel, flood light color temperature adjustment and of course no monthly fees. Great review LifeHackster! 👍
“eufysecurity” Good video. I like the way you test the products, more real life. I could use a new security camera, I'm 72 and I can't climb and crawl around to run wires like i used to. I have the prefect place by my front door that would alert me when someone is there. Especially when I'm at the back of the house and I don't hear them knock. I currently have a wyze pan cam in my front window but it goes off with alerts at the slights breeze even with human detection enabled and the sensitivity turned down.

Please send me your email in my contact info - lifehackster.com/contact/ and I'll email you back with a "code" that you need to put in this comment so as to verify your account. I will then email you back to get your shipping info. Thank You and Congratulations again...
Just found out about Eufy cameras, and I'm very impressed with them. With any camera manufacturer, you're mostly limited by the software and apps you are required to use, and eufysecurity seems to have the best app available! I would use this camera at the back of my property, where running power to would be difficult. Additionally, being able to record without an internet connection means I'd love to try taking it camping to see if any animals come into the campsite while I'm sleeping! Thanks for the giveaway!
I ordered three Eufy refirbished at Amazon for 129 each plus i had 72.00 in prime points, so a great deal with your review. I have an alarm system with 9 cameras, but wanted something different for monitoring the traffic around my home. Thank you for the review.
Thank you! I wasted the whole day trying to find the right camera. I wish I had just found this review first. Going to try to find the best price on a eufy right now!
I have just bought two of these as they have £60 off each.. and will be added to my eufy home. I have everything (two external cameras, door and window sensors, door bell, robot hoover, key pad - the lot)
I should get the floodlight camera because I need another camera. The 2k really does help with the resolution and I can’t stand charging my camera every once in a while it’s just convenient
Thank you very much for your review. We really appreciate your work. We are happy with Eufy and will buy two of these new cameras to see how they work. We have some spots in the house where they would fit perfectly.
im wondering keeping it standalone within the unit allows to push battery life as power needed to transfer big amount of data over wifi is much greater than simply writing to the local storage built into the unit.
I guess they are making a different segment on their product line and having customers choose. I wish there is more product integration in the app... like only 1 mode and a customer can select which cameras need to be active in a given mode.
Eufysecurity: I would love to have this Eufy SoloCam that you can install wirelessly and NEVER have to charge again as it runs on Solar. Well done Eufy!
eufysecurity: Seems like a great option for locations that do not have power available nearby! For me, that would be on the side of my garage, where I would use it to monitor activity in the driveway.
I’ve had mine for a couple weeks now and it’s just a great cam. No cloud storage sucks though. Hopefully they turn that on and the solar info looks awesome. They need to bring that back. I’d love that info.
@@CompTechMike Yeah but they don't seem as frequent as they originally were. I don't really spend extended periods of time viewing live feeds of any of the cameras so for me personally, it's not a big issue. My 2K indoor cams and my Wyze V2 and V3 cams aren't totally stable either. I have a couple POE Hikvision's and those are 100% stable all the time.
@@FastRedPonyCar Agreed. I set up PoE cameras in all of my office environments. At home I have a 60-year-old house. Much harder to run Ethernet cables, was really hoping these wireless cameras would do the trick. 😢
Definitely want one of those cameras so "eufysecurity". Really need one since there's been a string of car break-ins in our area and my son needs his car to get to his nursing shifts. Whether we win or not, we'll most likely get one since it solves the hassle of hard-wiring a power source or having to recharge every month or so.
Nice video! Thinking about adding this in conjunction with my Ring system since it's able to record without internet and will stay powered if the the sun is available with no hassles! Recording without internet is a great option because it may be a deal breaker with your insurance company as you will still have footage of an event of stolen items!
@@LifeHackster ; Can you suggest a Eufy cam that can still record to SD without internet for indoor use? As I mentioned this would be another layer of recording in the event of an internet outage. Thanks in advance!!!
eufysecurity - I am a first time homeowner and have been researching the best outdoor camera for my home. I already have the eufy 2K battery doorbell and does not believe in paying monthly subscriptions. I have a second floor balcony, gets a good amount of sunlight and a jogging path behind my backyard. This would would be the ideal camera for my backyard security!
Recently had my motorbike stolen from my back garden. So alongside getting a much better chain I'm thinking of buying a camera and this seems perfect for how easy it is to set up, no running wires, etc.
Thanks for this LifeHackster! My issue with these new cameras is that you will get multiple notifications if cameras overlap or are close to each other. For example I use 1 of these new cameras with their doorbell camera.
You can turn off notifications on a cam by cam basis. So go to settings and adjust to your liking. Their is the option to completely turn off notifications for a cam or you can change your activity zones to find a sweet eufylife experience. Also notifications are typically perk since this is a self monitored system.
Problems I am having so far.... Weak camera mount due to the plastic back stopper, they should of used metal. Weak pick up range on motion no matter on full motion or full human detection (18 feet at most before trigger). Then in the app Power Manager will randomly decided when it wants to show the Solar Charge History. @ 6:39 you have "Built -in Solar Power Manager" I currently don't but may have it tonight, tomorrow or in the next couple hours... Who knows, it randomly pops up.
I luv ur reviews on these products. I like this one because of the solar and color night vision. Only 2 issues i saw was motion detection is slower then ring and alexa takes a lil bit long to show up on the echo show. I think this is a awesome camera to have. You always do a great review on the products and give the perfect info that future customers will need..great job
@@LifeHackster yeah! Your right. It’s a very nice camera to have either way. The color night vision, the siren and the motion detection for human only is awesome thing to have. Usually you have to pay a lot more for those things
12:19 I wonder how long did you wait for notifiction? I am still thinking if shall i get 2c pro or this one. I wonder if the live view can be accessed on TV??
I bought 3 of these. A good 2K picture, with good features, but they go offline for no reason (only having had them a week). I have a cloud of Unifi Pro access points throughout my home, so Excellent wifi for their locations. Have to get a ladder everytime to hit the sync button. Just not a good solution for a security camera, especially one in which will be mounted high up in a lot of situations.
I am sure. No one should trust Eufy's so called "reviews" either. I submitted basically the same thing I wrote above, about a week ago, in their product review section and it was not posted. Only a bunch of raving reviews
Really enjoy all of your videos and like how you really put these devices to the test. Will you be posting a video review of the new SimpliSafe outdoor camera?
Bit of a game changer that it records with no Wifi. A lot of cameras as you know will not record without Wifi. Pretty cool feature. Also helps to know that it will also record if you lose power.
yup, i said the same, this camera is basically going to be as good as it gets before going to straight up POE wired cameras. Having a unit be wireless/battery operated yet regenerating with built in solar means less interaction/maintenance from user to have to pull it down/recharge/etc.
Yes... and I'll probably make a video sometime in the future where you can use this and monitor an area off the grid like a trail cam and just be within the camera's range with your phone that has a hospot and you will be able to retrieve the recorded footage... now I have to test this still though... we will see.
@@LifeHackster thank you for another great review. The ability to record without a WiFi connection would be a game changer. I've reached out to eufy and they've confirmed that it's possible to operate it with a mobile hotspot instead of a WiFi network but the camera needs to be connected to either a Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot all the time in order to record. If the camera loses connection to WiFi (or mobile hotspot), it stops being triggered by the PIR sensor and it stops recording to the built-in SD card. Can you confirm this? That would be extremely helpful!
If you don’t have direct sun on the s40 for long enough , are you able to plug the solar panel kit into the micro charge slot on back of camera to position the panel better to charge ? Has anyone tried this to see if it works ?😊
I give this camera a "WOW!" 600 lumen integrated light, siren at 100 plus decibels, detection going towards camera is pretty good (we got a full picture of you, not just your head) and I actually like not having a home base for the unit. This might actually be a great car security camera! Thanks again for all of your hard work and attention to detail!
eufysecurity - Setting up cameras for new home. I want to set up a camera in the corner, above garage. As the S40 is solar powered, I wouldn't need to do any wiring as it to have direct access to sunlight. I own Anker products but no Eufy products yet. It would be nice to out Eufy's cameras since I need to purchase additional ones.
eufysecurity - I'd love to add another outdoor wireless camera to my house. I currently have 2 2c cameras with the Eufy solar panels attached to them and they're great! A wireless camera with an integrated panel would be an awesome addition. I also have the Best Buy wired doorbell and the 2k flood light. Eufy's awesome! This channel is the reason why I went all in on Eufy, keep up the great work!
@@LifeHackster no problem pare! I just bought a ring stick up cam and I like it better than my battery spotlight cam. For some reason, even though I know Ring’s technology is outdated. They have been the most reliable for me.
Great review Reolink is preparing something great, in t22 septembre . Dual lens camera , 4 versions , Versions, Wi-Fi battery, 4g battery, poe or only Wi-Fi with 150 angle end Spotlight If you have any news, let us know.. thank you
At $300 in Australia it's more than twice the price of a Reolink Argos Eco with solar panel. My question is besides 2K recording, floodlight and human detection does it do anything else better, like earlier motion detection, especially at night as the Reolink is a bit slow waking up once motion is detected.
Sydneysider here. My concern about solar cameras is how long does the panel last? Other panels seem to be rather weak & die out quickly. And in winters my backyaard gets some sunlight but will it be enough? So I'm pensive getting this one.
Awesome video & thank you for running a full test. I live in NE US which gets fairly cold so was wondering if this will interfere with charging and battery life/performance when the temp goes well below 32° F. Not sure if anyone has experience with this or other solar cameras in my situation. TIA.
Can you do a more indepth review on how the battery/built in solar perform? Even just a week of observation should give us an idea of it can really last basically all year.
"eufysecurity" I like this SoloCam S40 because of the clean appeal without having to install a separate solar panel. Eufy is the only company that has this two in one product right now. The saving goes "kill two birds with one stone".
eufysecurity: Planning to move to a different city for work that is considered a high crime rate city. I've always lived in a low crime rate area so I have not had any security cames. I've been researching which cameras to get and based off of your reviews, I'm actually planning to get the Eufy 2C Pro and having this S40s would be a nice addition, especially if all the cameras are under the same brand to work more efficiently. What really catches my eye on this camera is the Quality of course and the quality at a far distance, but mainly what I am interested in is the Motion Alert speed. The alert speed seems like a high priority to me and to know you get notified of movement at an earlier speed is a must. The google home features is also a bonus as everything in my home is becoming more smart.
The Reolink Duo wifi battery model vs the Eufy S40, which one is better and has better functionality? I purchased the S40 but debating on returning it and ordering the Reolink duo. I'm new to the whole security camera ecosystem so I'm clueless lol
Great video. I'm waiting for either Black Friday or Cyber Monday, this way I get a decent deal and more time to see what bugs arise from this new cam. Thanks for sharing Bro, another great video. 👊
I’m not sure however we may have made a mistake here with the S 40 we don’t have it yet we just ordered it yesterday I assumed I was going to be able to hook it up to my dual cam doorbell with homebase??? if I can’t what do I hook this camera up to ???would I have to buy a different type of base??? I want to run two or three more cameras on my homebase that came with my dual cam doorbell??? so far we really like our dual cam doorbell with homebase it works really good. if this doesn’t work with our homebase should we return it???
eufysecurity : Would like to have this camera set up to cover our back yard/garden to catch the vegetable and fruit thieves we have in addition to the fact we have had a lot of break ins in our area. Thinking of getting the whole house set up with cameras at some point and Eufy looks like a good quality and low cost (no subscriptions) route.
Good product presentation.found useful. In various comments below it looks like the wired one is preferred by many . Pls give an indication if the cost. Thank you.
I see they constantly been upgrading and like the fact they turn into solar with no charging. The ones I have it's a hassle charging them. I just wish the cameras had better clarity at more than 30ft and motion detection was faster. Hoping as technology get stronger they could implement something for better night vision long distance. I wish they could provide us a timeline on what's getting released in the upcoming years.
Eufy confuses me so much. Why isn't there a 2k wired version of this? If you want wired, you either get the Outdoor Cam or Floodlight. The 600 Lumen spotlight on S40 would be perfect if wired.
Looks like your Maximum Detection Distance Testing at 12:10 of the video didn't work out to well but you seemed to skip by that part. Looks like maybe the motion detection doesn't detect sometimes?? I find that with the Floodlight Pro also when setting human detection only, cameras need an update to the human detection speed maybe? Thanks for the video as always.
It did work as you can see in the recorded footage... I cut the notification part because it is still in the 10 sec. range and I am trying to edit the overall video so that it is not going to be that long.. and the purpose of that test segment is to show how soon the camera records when it detected me going towards the camera.
@@LifeHackster should I be concerned with 10 seconds from a safety perspective? I just bought the E40 because it seems like the best wireless one out there. It seemed to be your favorite too?
Thanks for sharing this with all of us! Just another amazing delivery of a thorough review. Wow! Can you please tell us if the recordings record over the oldest videos as the default or do you have to remember to clear the card off before it’s full?

This looks amazing with the integrated solar
:)
I'm a first-time viewer of your channel. that was an excellent review you put together there. very comprehensive and concise. you did a great job.
Probably the first wireless camera I'd consider buying. Look forward to seeing your view on the solar panel effectiveness
Thanks.
@@LifeHackster Will you still be doing a test on how well the new S40 battery performs?
I have just bought two of these as they have £60 off each.. and will be added to my eufy home. I have everything (two external cameras, door and window sensors, door bell, robot hoover, key pad - the lot)
I should get the floodlight camera because I need another camera. The 2k really does help with the resolution and I can’t stand charging my camera every once in a while it’s just convenient
Thank you very much for your review. We really appreciate your work. We are happy with Eufy and will buy two of these new cameras to see how they work. We have some spots in the house where they would fit perfectly.
One of Eufy's best surveillance camera is the wired OutDoor Cam.
I still don't understand why ALL their cameras can't be compatible with the home base. Great review.
im wondering keeping it standalone within the unit allows to push battery life as power needed to transfer big amount of data over wifi is much greater than simply writing to the local storage built into the unit.
I guess they are making a different segment on their product line and having customers choose. I wish there is more product integration in the app... like only 1 mode and a customer can select which cameras need to be active in a given mode.
Same here, I would need a local storage for this camera.
I emailed eufy and they said all solo cams will be compatible with homebase by end of 2021 .
eufysecurity
Wow the audio on this camera is actually good. integrated solar panel is a gamechanger for low key security.
Thanks for the great review as usual! This really looks like a winner with it’s always charged, spotlight, 2k and wireless mode.
Eufysecurity: I would love to have this Eufy SoloCam that you can install wirelessly and NEVER have to charge again as it runs on Solar. Well done Eufy!
This was so useful. The best review I’ve found of any security camera. Thank you!
eufysecurity: Seems like a great option for locations that do not have power available nearby!
How do you like it so far? Mines arriving tomorrow.
Are you not getting the random disconnects like everyone else?
Eufysecurity. I would like this outside my house and I have been eyeing for a solar power camera for a long time. Save the hassle from recharging!
“Eufysecurity. I love the fact I can use it with my Alexa and the ability to turn on the spot light. Plus the siren!
Nice video! Thinking about adding this in conjunction with my Ring system since it's able to record without internet and will stay powered if the the sun is available with no hassles! Recording without internet is a great option because it may be a deal breaker with your insurance company as you will still have footage of an event of stolen items!
True.
@@LifeHackster ;
Can you suggest a Eufy cam that can still record to SD without internet for indoor use? As I mentioned this would be another layer of recording in the event of an internet outage.
Thanks in advance!!!
Dude this is a crazy thorough review. Thank you so much, this helps my decision!
eufysecurity - I am a first time homeowner and have been researching the best outdoor camera for my home.
Very detailed and informative review, great job and thank you for that!
Like the camera. Concerned about snow build up in the winter…
I liked the concept with the solar panel but the price is high.
You can turn off notifications on a specific camera in the "security" tab and keep it to still record but not to notify you.
Yes..it is a bit slow in notifications but not that bad. Thank you.
Recommend that you take a look at Riolnik's camera: argus 3 pro you can buy an additional solar panel. good luck 👍
still in the 10 second range...I cut the footage because I was trying to trim the overall length of the video.
I use Screen Mirroring to view from my iPhone to the TV, live or notifications.
Everyone is having this problem. 😞
I am sure. No one should trust Eufy's so called "reviews" either. I submitted basically the same thing I wrote above, about a week ago, in their product review section and it was not posted. Only a bunch of raving reviews
Excellent review. Very thorough. Answered all the questions I had.
Really enjoy all of your videos and like how you really put these devices to the test. Will you be posting a video review of the new SimpliSafe outdoor camera?
I have to check it out. Thanks.
Great review! I did not see in the settings an option to get alerts for battery levels. I would like to get an alert if battery dips below 30%
No option yet...
@@LifeHackster does the e40 record without wifi?
If no Wi-Fi how does it communicate w phone? Range?
Great review. thanks for taking the time to put them all together.
No problem 👍
I give this camera a "WOW!" 600 lumen integrated light, siren at 100 plus decibels, detection going towards camera is pretty good (we got a full picture of you, not just your head) and I actually like not having a home base for the unit. This might actually be a great car security camera! Thanks again for all of your hard work and attention to detail!
Whoa that's awesome it can be a car camera!
That is actually a good idea... Thanks.
You just gave me another reason to buy this!
Thanks for the review. What I like most is the solar charging. I've been researching systems that do not require hard wiring.
eufysecurity - Setting up cameras for new home. I want to set up a camera in the corner, above garage. As the S40 is solar powered, I wouldn't need to do any wiring as it to have direct access to sunlight. I own Anker products but no Eufy products yet. It would be nice to out Eufy's cameras since I need to purchase additional ones.
9:30 How is the people motion detection performance at night with PIR on(and LED light off) compared to that during the day time ?
Thanks for another great review. This camera looks really good.
Thanks for watching!
eufysecurity - I'd love to add another outdoor wireless camera to my house.
Your infrared tests might be better than what others will see with the IR light from your backyard cameras.
All of my other cameras IR are off…I made sure of that..
Great review as always!!
I appreciate that
@@LifeHackster no problem pare! I just bought a ring stick up cam and I like it better than my battery spotlight cam. For some reason, even though I know Ring’s technology is outdated. They have been the most reliable for me.
Great review Reolink is preparing something great, in t22 septembre . Dual lens camera , 4 versions , Versions, Wi-Fi battery, 4g battery, poe or only Wi-Fi with 150 angle end Spotlight If you have any news, let us know.. thank you
I think they are sending me one for a review... we will see. Thanks.
Honest and great review, I’m going to purchase 2 of them , once I can find where they have in stock
I others have said I've been waiting for your review on this product, well done and it might be one I finally install. Thanks !!!!
Thank you.
EufySecurity - I would install it in my backyard looking towards the back gate while overseeing 2 bedroom windows. Thank you!
That's good it still records to the built in storage when there is no wifi..
Yes.. I have to test this model because Eufy's homebase dependent cameras cannot record when the homebase loses WIFI.
Could You set automations accross other platform using Alexa ?
For Example, To turn on the floodlight when my Ring doorbell detects motion ?
Not at this time.
I agree
Good review, Eufy should have a feature to adjust battery max charge level to minimise wearing.
eufysecurity
I'd LOVE to receive a solocam S40 because of the brilliance of the built-in solar charger! Brilliant!
So, did i win?!?!?!?!?!
Can you uses this camera in a remote area with no wifi ,will it record then bring the camera home connect to wifi to review the footage?
Thanks David
Thanks a lot for the unboxing and detailed video.
Amazing video. I am not sure if I should preorder this camera it seems that they send notifications quite late.
It is usually in the 10 second range.
Nice review. Thank you for sharing and helping me make a buying decision...
Eufy confuses me so much. Why isn't there a 2k wired version of this? If you want wired, you either get the Outdoor Cam or Floodlight. The 600 Lumen spotlight on S40 would be perfect if wired.
The s40 spotlight only activates when there is motion.. there is no light scheduling or dusk to dawn feature.
Thanks for your detailed sharing. It helps me to nail down which cctv I should get. Good job👍👍👍
Would it work if you use a wyze cam v3 stand on a the new nest cam and how would it look like?
It might not be able to support it.. the nest cam battery is a bit heavy.
hmmm Wyzecam v3 still king for me.. Some real good things about this cam though... If it was $50-80 I'd give it a try...
Thanks for sharing this with all of us! Just another amazing delivery of a thorough review. Wow! Can you please tell us if the recordings record over the oldest videos as the default or do you have to remember to clear the card off before it’s full?
It loop records and records over old footage when the storage is full. Thank you.
