Thank you Judge for taking the time to throughly research and consider Paul’s mental health in your sentencing and for the justice you served Timothy today.
Absolutely heartbreaking no one spoke on Timothy's behalf prior to sentencing. Thankfully this judge was his voice. I cannot fathom the abuse/torture this beautiful boy endured! I remember the photo of Timothy this judge displayed at Shanda's sentencing. He said that's the way he chose to remember Timothy instead of like a holocaust victim which is what he looked like six months after his stepfather's stroke. That is how I chose to remember Timothy as well. This judge is amazing!
Now he can think about the consequences of his actions! He was a willing participant. I am sure the Judge wrote “one step away from a psychopath” which will keep him in prison until he dies.
I watched this entire story/trial. This is the worst case of torture, starvation and murder i have ever seen. Timothy's death was so cruel and so sadistic 😔 He could have, at any time, called the police but he was his mothers son. He enjoyed torturing his brother, as he had torturing animals. He should never be released. Thank you judge.
My favorite line from the Judge Kecel before he sentenced him, “ I think he one step away from becoming a psychopath like his mother” Rest In Peace Timothy 🕊️🕊️both of your abuser is serving time in prison.
Margaret, the judge told him at shandas trial that he made no promises for his testimony. He was spared first degree murder charge, which is automatic life sentence. The deal was he would'nt be charged with murder, and they stuck to that
You guys need an inquiry into sentencing as it is not in line with public expectations. Criminals are given too many chances in the UK by a legal system. It’s depressing to read how an abusive person gets out on bail or early release yet again and goes onto to harm someone else. Property crimes are treated more harshly than crimes against people.
The judge had access to far more information about Paul than we as spectators did. During the trial Paul did come across as a pitiful character who had been manipulated by his mother, and whilst I still believe this to be true to an extent, I also agree with the judge's sentencing and everything he said. Paul is a very damaged young man , undoubtedly this was caused by his love-less upbringing, however he knew right from wrong and therefore deserves his sentence.
I don’t think 🤔 30 years was enough I feel he should be in prison for rest of his life he could have stopped or reported the torture and the beating no he continued to torture and beat his brother this is really sad may his lil brother rip him and his mother should have been put on death row that’s my opinion

His dumbfounded face when he heard ‘30 to 100 years’: priceless. Like a surprised ground squirrel. In fact bullies are cruel cowards.
I think he thought he’d get a few years and acted like a victim of Shanda. He was a cruel coward.
Imagine torturing a child and then being surprised you got 30 years in jail
I'm sad and a bit embarrassed to admit that Mr. Paul Ferguson fooled me while testifying in his mother's trial. Upon further research into the court docs and statements from family members with more intimate knowledge of his character, my mind began to change. It's probably a good thing Paul "took a plea deal" and that this incredibly insightful judge saw through him.. because if he'd have taken this to trial, the jury may have been fooled as I was.
It was said that he also committed SA on timothy as well ,wonder if that continued while he was alone with him
I wanted to forgive and understand Paul at the beginning but his culpability is astounding. He truly exacted these things, he claims not on his own volition, he admits otherwise in writing to his mother
I’m curious, where are the reports of SA?
I’d be embarrassed also !! But thank God the judge wasn’t fooled ! How could ANYONE feel sorry for giving ice baths and hot sauce bread ? Chains and handcuffs ????? HOW ?!?!?! He did that and you felt sorry for him ?????
I don’t see what you guys do. I see a mentally challenged person who was manipulated and has severe problems that aren’t solved in prison but instead an institution.
This judge and prosecutor in this case are exactly what they should be. Hats off to Michigan
I'm from here...thank GOD the judge was awesome, prosecutor too. We got some zany judges here, I thought the brother was going to walk, thankfully not.

I definitely agree 100%
I considered that he could have had some issues and by no means did he have a wonderful upbringing but after hearing his full testimony against his mother I felt he was just as culpable and absolutely responsible for what happened to Timothy. He absolutely deserves the sentence he got. He deserves worse but that is frowned up by some. Thank god for this judge for being so thorough and diligent with the information he had. Someone finally stood up for Timothy.
F Paul!!! F Shandra. They both deserve way worse. What they did to poor Timothy good god! & no remorse on either side. Just upset for themselves. Shame on them and the people who talk to them!!

he's just as evil as his mom
And the other two kids remaining are potentially going to grow up with the same types of behavior because they witnessed it and grew up with it like it was normal .

Only one was in that house?
@@trueCrimeGuruYespaul was mainly raised by his dad so it’s not unlikely his dad has some of the same views on raising kids as Shanda. After all it was him AND shanda that got their kids taken away when they were still married. While Shanda did come out as the worse parent, i don’t think Eric is entirely innocent and right in the way he’s raised his kids. Milly seems to be doing the best, the only one that has seemed to cut all contact w the people involved in this.
Yay! I was hoping for 20 years at least! 30 to 100 years justice served. Paul may have whiplash upon hearing 30 in the big house!
Yooo I said the same thing his head fell up so fast 💨 I know he felt it lol 😂

I thought that Paul was only following his mother's orders to torture his brother but listetting to his interrogation, he was hitting,, slapping and dragging and hurting him on top of his starving and ice baths.. thats when i realised he is indeed a psychopath
This case will forever bother me in life. It was so tragic, it's rare for something like this to trouble me as much personally, this one did. I say a prayer for this poor child when I think about him. It bothered me too much. I've never seen worse treatment of another human being in my lifetime.
This was no different than the Nazi treatment of the Jews..
and he almost got away with it. There is no excuse, no mental disorder, no behavior disorder that can excuse such evil vile deeds, only one that I know is he and his mother were evil, evil exists.
@kevmachine1399 I absolutely agree with you. What's worse is he worked at Applebee's as a dishwasher and he couldn't of brought home any food for the poor kid.. He nobody was doing the whole time i'm glad that the judge realized that. Maybe they'll provide some extra hot sauce for his 3 hots and a cot stay. His mother and him are one and the same. If he wasn't evil, he would have fought against her and helped them instead it helping her and still this awful punishment to the poor child. This case upset me so badly.
I just can't imagine what poor Timothy's last days were make it his whole life. The judge's right how you could do that to another human being is beyond comprehension.
This one and Harmony Montgomery trouble me. So many vulnerable kids that were failed by their monsters for parents and the system
My heart just aches for children that are abused and mistreated.
This man was twenty years old torturing his brother, he is not a child.
He’s not slow, either… just a bully.
He is definitely deeply stunted.
@honinakecheta601 Well 19 but you're still right and he's not autistic Paul was imitating Timothy when he was on the stand to try to get a lighter sentence as horrifying as that is.
The only emotion this guy has shown. Was when the judge sentenced him. He expected the 30 years. But hears “ to 100” and his head shot up like a bottle rocket. Ya care now, Paul? This guy is void of ANY empathy..This was soo sad.. RIP Timothy. 😢
And wants mercy when showing little bother none. Okay Paul, time to be quiet.
He didn't even expect the 30. In his jail calls he talks about IF he goes to prison for awhile and how he may "not even see the inside of a prison". This has to be one of the most satisfying sentencings ive ever seen.

We need this judge in England 👏
You guys need an inquiry into sentencing as it is not in line with public expectations. Criminals are given too many chances in the UK by a legal system. It’s depressing to read how an abusive person gets out on bail or early release yet again and goes onto to harm someone else. Property crimes are treated more harshly than crimes against people.
He's got the same crazy eyes of the mother.
Younger kids run away from their abusive parents and grown man couldn’t help his brother he is as guilty as his mother
I personally feel like every one of you who feels sorry for this…this…Paul… is like you spitting on poor Timothy’s grave.
