Thank you, that's impressive and likely the best. Would you now please do a tour of what is considered a "regular" panamanian hospital, such as the Santo Tomás, where regular people go? Pretty please?? ...with associated costs. Thank you.
I'll add it to the list of videos to do - when there is room in the budget. Keep in mind, we pay a lot of $ to hire a videographer to travel to these locations to do these videos and do the editing. Even though the videos are free for you, it cost us $$ to produce.
You’re being given either outdated pricing, or outright misinformation. My insurance policy doesn’t pay outside the United States, ER visit is minimal $400, and I spend at least $650 per MONTH on medications!! $77.50… yea right!
@@teachercrue4350 teacher crue you do realize this is outside of the united states, its a different country, things are not the same, same goes for prices.
so these room prices are in addition to the actual medical and/or surgical procedure for which you are going into the hospital, correct? seems as if that is the case, but want to confirm.
Very nice hospital, it's very similar to a small hospital in the State but with a big different in cost from the US. Is this different than Panama Clinic?
Yes it’s different although close by. This one is affiliated to Johns Hopkins (Maryland), it’s the top #1 hospital in Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean by far. There’s also a new branch located in Towncenter Costa del Este, just opened up a year ago, fully equipped as well.

It _is_ costly, by Panamanian standards, but it's roughly 1/4 of what you'd pay for the same in the USA. But, with most insurance, you would only pay about 1/5 of what he quoted. I'm hoping they do a tour of something like a Santo Tomás Hospital next, as a point of reference, which is where regular everyday people go.
It's costly by my retirement fixed budget. And who knows if I would qualify for health insurance in Panama ( pre-existing conditions). The hospital is gorgeous and very impressive but like others have stated here, how about showing us a more reasonable hospital.
@@elubrosales-alston-xd6rt You don´t need any type of insurance to go this hospital, however most insurance companies will work with it. Just double check with them before you sign up.

Excellent video. I’ve been here and this hospital is fantastic.

Our pleasure!
The fact that I can order Amazon from my hospital bed! From the TV!
Very nice and modern hospital
yes it is. There are many nice, modern hospitals in Panama
This looks like boutique service. What do the rooms for average patients look like? Or do they go to other hospitals?
it is a very large private hospital. I don't have pricing for other private hospitals. a public hospital is $10 a night for a shared room.
@@PanamaRelocationTours Jackie, Do you think you could do a tour of what a public hospital is like?
Presumably if you have insurance you would just have a copay?
It depends on which insurance you have. Some insurance will require you to pay up front then file a claim to be reimbursed.
The cost he shared for overnight stays with insurance or without insurance. Beautiful facility.
Without insurance.
How much is covered with various levels of insurance?
The chief was good. They should have him on as a regular.
