It really is. I didn’t watch it when it was on television for the first three seasons. I stumbled upon it by accident on Netflix. I could not believe the genius in the writing. Then I read the books. This was always one of my favourite scenes. Every so often I come back to rewatch this video over and over. It's a fun scene because the references they are dropping are quite easy to pick up. I love pop culture references in TV shows and movies. It's always like a little nod to them. One of my favourites was in Scream, the opening scene when Drew Barrymore is talking to Ghostface on the phone about movies and she mentions that the first Nightmare on Elm Street was good but the rest sucked. It took me years to realise that was a joke because Wes Craven was essentially the creator of Nightmare on Elm Street, however he only done the first one, he didn't do the rest, and when I got the joke I found it too funny.
lol. But the 3rd one Dream Warriors was my fave. Kinda took on an X-man vibe. And Patricia Arquette doing parkour before anyone knew what parkour was so underrated.

Quentin’s story is all about how despite everything and him being relatively unimpressive overall, he truly loved magic more than the rest and was dedicated to seeing wonder in the world where to the other characters saw only pessimism. And that at the end of the day he always found a way to get his goal accomplished. He’s a kind of pathetic character for most of the start of the story, but his genuine goodness inspires the rest of them. I mean just look at his death
Out of all the women on this show, and that includes most of the men. Queen Margo the destroyer is my favorite Man on the show. She's a bad B and has more balls than every guy 😂 and her character development was good. Summer did a superb job as Margo.
I can only like this video once, sadly. Margo consumes information like no one else. Fashion, partying, ALL THE NERD BOOKS and shows, and is a kick-ass strong woman who doesn't take shit.
Naw.. Eliot singing in the desert was way better than this. It brought light to just how great the show makers are at putting together musical scenes that don't feel cheesy/campy (Riverdale is a good example of bad singing scenes; like, you're trying to be Newsies/Grease, but you're not even making it to a level of Sweeney Todd). Also, Eliot's voice is insane. I hope he takes up a career in singing now that Magicians is officially over.
was about to say. This scene is hilarious and may be the best scene written, but Eliot singing to a tripping Margo was the most memorable to me. And one of the final scenes, but I wont spoil that.
They’re referencing the episode Hush. The one where ‘the gentlemen’ come to town and steal everyone’s voices. That one and The Body, the one where Buffy finds her dead moms body after she has an aneurism, are generally considered the best episodes.
Perhaps the subtitling has a language barrier for this clip? I watch everything w/CC or subtitles and the version I watched had the lines verbatim. Obviously, not a big deal unless the person watching this is hearing impaired/deaf. 😬 I’d suggest just watching the episode (and the show!) to enjoy the comedic brilliance. 😊
