Just to clarify (because the show doesn't), Sumi and Taka are not related. They're partners. Everyone thought they're twins because of their matching slit eyebrows, but Sam Deats, one of the main directors, confirmed they aren't.
It's slow but never boring. The world-building and dialogue is top-tier, and because of the build-up, it makes the action extra satisfying. Action without building up to it is like empty calories.
Some esoteric trivia for you. The Count Saint Germain was an actual person who, like the character here, was interested in alchemy. he was born a few hundred years after this story was supposed to have happened, however; he has a Wikipedia page if you’re interested. Regarding the name, “St Germain” is spelled “Saint Germain” but is actually pronounced a bit more like “San Germain”. It’s similar to how “St John” is pronounced “Saint John” when referring to the saint but is pronounced something like “Sinjin” when used as a name. Bonus esoteric trivia: this shifting in pronunciation is also how “Saint Clare” became the surname “Sinclair” over time.
Alucard's sword is a type called an Estoc. Think of it as a very oversized rapier with a traditional longsword hilt and cross guard. Most of the time the edges are not sharp and is a thrusting weapon only, but some examples exist of estocs with sharpened edges.
Draculas cloak is usually an in-game item you can find post-symphony of the night, Trevor was probs wanting those sick armour buffs The IC also appears in-game but I always felt so woefully under-utilized in terms of gameplay and design...
Oh my God. You guys are sharp. I'm greatly anticipating where this goes. EDIT: I saw this only when it came out. I remember the main story beats but... the details elude me. I am kind of rediscovering it. This is great :D
I love your videos keep making more. I wish you both the best of luck. Also you guys should react to Cobra Kai, it’s a good show and I think you guys would enjoy it.
The infinite corridors is possible I believe it's supposed to be like the multiverse it not said but it seem to similar to how someone with no knowledge on quantum physics would describe it as
I'm gonna guess you haven't watched a lot of reaction videos on TH-cam so to put it simply: You can't upload a video of you watching a show entirely on TH-cam and not get copywrite strikes (aka 3 strikes and they delete your channel entirely) or having any / all profit you may gain from that video on youtube going to someone else. Hell, sometimes you can barely get the 10-20 second clips at a time past the copywrite program on youtube. That's why reactors always say the full videos are on their patreons because they can upload the full video there without TH-cam shutting it down or giving all their ad revenue to the owner of whatever is being reacted to and still make money. If you want to see their full, unedited reaction then throw them a little money every month (I'm not a member of their patreon community so I gave no idea how much their membership is) and you can see their reaction to every second of the show. If you don't want to do that you need to get used to random 10-20 second clips onscreen at a time 🤷♂️

I don't know why they made them look alike
Thanks, I wondered about that when I watched it
Doesn't help since they're practically joined by the hip.
Woah, next you'll tell me Meesh and Dee aren't twins.

Saint Germain lived in the 18th century but claimed to be hundreds of years old so it fits the story
Ah, nice one. 👍
I keep searching your channel every day so I can see if you've uploaded a new Castlevania episode. That's how much I like youse reaction.

Meesh has good intuition. She's been predicting since the pilot.

"Wholesome"
Certified Sword of Damocles moment (IYKYK)
The show generally isn't wholesome, but Sypha and Trevor are so you never know maybe the twins are ok.

It’s been a long while (so I could be wrong), but Saint Germain’s story implies he invented Absinthe
