For tapes from TWTS I like to cut an extra little piece of backing off to expose a little piece of the tape and stick it to itself to help the roll closed. These are really pretty tapes!
Lol. The side of my desk is also a carnival of stickers and washi tape bits for later use 😂 and to keep the washi with backing I just separate a bit and cut some of the backing and use the sticky end to glue it to the same roll 😉
Sometimes I use rubber bands as well. Other times I use a small piece of tape. I don't have long fingernail--So I have to use tweezer most of the time.
The "PET" part of the name is an acronym for the type of plastic the tape is made of - it's polyethylene tetraphthalate, which is why everybody uses the acronym instead. Who wants to try to pronounce all that? For pronunciation, you treat it however your language treats other acronyms - some say the letters, while others say it as though it's a word.

Love these washi tapes 😍. When I cut out pieces I take the extras and roll it up and put them in the center of the roll. Just an idea. 😊

Thanks! Do you do that even with the washi roll stickers? I do that with the normal tape but the stickers are more challenging for me :)
Beautiful washi tape haul 😍 I like to peel the PET tapes with tweezers, it makes it easy to place them in your journals :)

What markers do you recommend for writing on the washi tape?
I use the Tombow fudenosuke for writing on normal washi and just let it dry for a bit :)
I wonder if I could cut the stickers out with my Scan and Cut 🤔
