Hi Josephine! Thank you so much for your comment and thank you for watching! I have found it’s easier to take the backing off if you flip the tape over so the image is on the reverse and then try and find an edge that you can run your thumb over and it should peel off a little easier. I found it near impossible to remove the tape if I had the image facing me. I hope that helps!

Gorgeous Laura, I am in awe of your patience with all that fussy cutting! But as you say it’s all about having the right tools and those scissors look really good. This is a beautiful card, love the colour palette and all the different elements. I too think that gem stickers have a mind of their own and I definitely prefer the ones that are not sticky backed, I can’t tell you how many must be lurking under my desk having skipped off and gone flying 😯. What a lovely card! Yep... me with gemstones and such.... jumping around, all over the desk and hard to get where I want. Tweezers don't work well for me at all. I'm going to try using the tip of a thin blade paring knife to slide them off the plastic and place them where I want them, then use a poky tool to get them off the knife and push them around to the right spot. Wish me luck.
