Thank you for the great video. Just an idea: on the top middle card, which has two parallel long washitape, the bottom washitape could be painted over with something(maybe clear gesso) which makes is matt and faded and would look like a reflection in the water. Of course it is beautiful as it is. :)
I love your use of washi tape instead of stamps or patterned papers. I love washi tape from the washi tape shop but struggle with ideas on how to use it. Please keep these types of videos coming.
I am so thankful for this video! I ordered the sticker tape because it was beautiful and when I got it realized I had no idea what to do with it. Now I know how to use all of them and I'll have so many more card making options. It's also led me to you your other videos, which I have been watching all day.
I'm so happy to hear this video has given you ideas on what to create with your sticker tapes and I have lots of videos using washi and PET tapes, which it sounds like you may have found hehe. Have fun creating! XOX
I have never used washi tape before. I’m ready to try using it now. I’ve seen some I loved but never bought any as I never knew how to use it making cards. Thank you for sharing.
Lovely way to use washie tape, I tend to use it to keep dies in place for cutting, which is such a waste of my beautiful tape. Thankyou again for the tips. I really liked the gold use of the triangle die. ❤
Very nice cards. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. Love ❤️ these and your videos, which I just came across today. Hugs 🤗 from North Carolina USA 🇺🇸
As usual Lucy , your cards are so pretty. I would love to know how to use PET tape so I am looking forward to the tutorial . Please can you give us some ideas for Christmas cards . Thank you for sharing all your ideas with us and for the inspiration.
Thank you so much Robyn! Yes, for sure I'll create a video using the PET tape, I'm excited as I haven't used it before either hehe. And yes, I'll be creating Christmas cards with the washi tape soon too 🤗🌸🌼
I absolutely love watching your videos. I'm new to finding you so it's exciting to go and look at the past one's I've missed. Washi is lovely but I struggle to find ideas for using it. I have NO favourite's in these cards because they are all so beautiful. Please do another video or two with Washi and PET I would love some Christmas idea's too so I can get started on them. Keep up the fantastic work. Cheers Jackie 🌺
Hi Jackie! Thank you so much for this wonderful message, I’m so happy you found my channel. I’ll be posting more PET tape and washi tape cards soon, I love how the cards turned out so hopefully you will too. Have a fantastic day 🤗♥️♥️
How do you recognize a truly skilled crafter? By what they do with a simple product! Wow, all of these are just so beautiful. I have a drawer full of washi tape (not floral just straight up colors) and they have probably been in the drawer for ten years. 😐😑 sigh You really have a gift of taking something rather ordinary and turning into a spectacular card. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas. PS I like the thank you so much! card the best. I think I'm just partial to that particular die though. ha ha
I just Love all the Cards’s. if I had to chose. I think it would be second or the circle one. But they are all so beautiful as always Lucy. Thank you. 🎉🎉
Glad it was helpful! I have a few videos using PET and washi tapes as they're fast becoming some of my fave items to create with. Enjoy creating with your PET tape 😀🤗❤
Hi Sue! Yes, all of the companies I create with ship internationally. These cards were made with rolls from The Washi Tape Shop which you can find here bit.ly/3S5CSkV (they have free international shipping for orders over $20USD and you can use code LUCYPATRICK10 to receive a 10% discount off any orders. If you like the background dies, these are from Inlovearts and they have free international shipping over $29USD and you can use my code LUCY25 to receive a 25% off discount - bit.ly/45kK9AW I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day, XOX Lucy
Thank you 😊. I can’t say 100% it won’t peel off the cards as this is the first time I’ve used them. I can say it’s a quality company with great quality washi and PET tapes. It doesn’t feel like it will come up but if you wanted to be sure the best way is to put it through your die cutting machine, I would recommend using a stitched border die as that will embed the tape even more. Another suggestion is to fold part of it over your card front then add it to the card rather than cutting off any overhanging parts. That way, one side is definitely not peeling off. I hope this helps xox
Beautiful cards, Lucy. I tried to order a couple of things from Easy Craft Art. Filled everything in and was told I would be directed to PayPal but after waiting about 15 minutes, I couldn't get any further. HELP!!!! Ruth in Brisbane.
Sorry to hear that Ruth. I would recommend trying again, your cart should still be there and maybe there was just a small glitch at that time between them and/or PayPal. If it still doesn't work today, try a different web browser (for example Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, whichever you haven't tried). Or try going into Incognito mode in case it's because you have lots of cookies on your computer (an IT guy gave me this advice once, I'm no expert hehe). I hope one of these options solves the issue. XOX

Beautiful work! Is the washi tape likely to peel off the card over time, since it has a low-tack adhesive?
Thank you 😊. I can’t say 100% it won’t peel off the cards as this is the first time I’ve used them. I can say it’s a quality company with great quality washi and PET tapes.
