I'm not sure if you realize, but you've probably planted a pretty special seed in that child. Kids are usually taught that as they grow, creativity becomes less and less relevant or important. It's sad but society just doesn't seem to value artistic endeavours. Which isn't actually true, there are a ton of jobs that require a creative ability, they simply aren't talked about as the most viable. You've just shown that creating just for the sake of finding joy in ripping paper, gluing stuff and playing with stickers is a real thing to be valued. That's such an important lesson of self care. It was also totally adorable 🥰

This is wonderful, we lived in Japan for 6 months and celebrated the cherry blossoms falling on our picnic at night with our Japanese friends and a day in a wonderful cherry park this was 30 years ago! You have brought back wonderful memories for me, and reminded me of all of the wonderful Japanese people who helped us when we were lost ! (all the time) ha ha

Super calming to watch this right before bed. Your Sakura themes get better each year, Hedda! The color palette is so nice and soft. I didn’t see the extent of the Sakura Breeze collection until now, and it’s so gorgeous! I would have used a brown, too. I’ve been really liking off-black colors, like Bordeaux Purple right now. The squares are growing on me, and I definitely would have used them for a swatch for the month. They were a nice touch for the calendar spread, too. I have been looking ALL OVER for Hiragana and Katakana symbol stickers for ages! They were perfect for this month! I was even debating on a Cricut to make them myself XD Stock up and have fun when you go to Japan! Enjoy some komorebi for me
