The handler's speech was OVERWHELMINGLY INSANE. Don't think there will be a better speech in the anime.

Its definitely up there. Anime speech about war is so realistic. War is hell
It's up there with Balalyka in Black Lagoon, to the nasty little vampire boy. It's one of those scenes that sticks with you a long damn time.
The dog didn't see Loid die UNTIL Yor made the phone call. The phone call alerted the authorities and WISE so they send Loid to check out that specific location. We see this because the anime shows us WISE talking about Yor's call and then Keith's backup plan is to set off a bomb as a distraction while he tries to kill the minister. In that bad end route, Loid dies and the dog might reach the minister and blow up leading to war.
So the future is changable (since we see it change twice) and it is possible that Anya's interfering is what made the bad end even possible. The dog didn't see Loid dead or sad until the phone call which would imply that Loid and WISE would have caught the bombers before they realized that they were compromised.

Mind you the following is a BIG IF....
If you go by the first "future" family as seen from the dog's (I'm not spoiling him name just yet) POV, that might mean the first future route had the terrorist all getting caught, "Loid" and the dog being heroes (maybe - and possibly Yor and Anya being heroes too) in a different way, and the family meeting the dog anyway resulting in a new family member. Anya's curiosity (mixed with her past trauma), and Yor's phone call, changed this to the "bad" future route, which Anya and the dog corrected to the happy route they're in now where they're ALL BECOME HEROES. 😁
Meanwhile, Yor doesn't realize how close she came to losing her *WHOLE ENTIRE FAMILY* (including the newest family even before he joined)!!!!!
I ain’t gonna lie, anytime Yor comes into a scene to save Anya I’m like “Oh see now you’re truly f*cked.”

Tbh, it hits hard in real life as well. There are people who deny or twist historical facts because of their reality when the world is in constant change and we don't have the same experiences.

Yeah but still BS logic about Loid magic double shot on that dog's boom. Like lets be real here, those strap are inline with the dog body, you can't hit those strap w/o hit the dog too if this is a real life situation. But yeh, this is a cute anime type ofcourse they cant do that so i dont mind either.

Anya's vision with doggo in the manga was so gruesome, I was on the edge of my seat during those chapters. So glad to finally see it animated.

5:07 The "I'm so sick of war" of Twilight made me think of episode 1, when we see a flashback of him, crying, in what it looks like a place where was conflict.
So not only the handler had first hand experience of what war is.
Based on their ages and the fact that they’re from the same place, who would assume that loid wouldn’t have also experienced that?
@@TheSuperNats she's been depicted throughout the entire story as being quite old, her age not being shown seemingly as a joke about her finding her self old, the people she shot calling her a hag out of all insults, and plenty more instances in the manga that I won't put here, and also she lost a daughter to the war who was likely in the same bombing or conflict as loid, making me think she would be around 20 years older then him (maybe 15)
This episode was so good. Sylvia's interrogation and speech about war gave me chills because those college kids really knew nothing about how brutal and gruesome it actually is. On a lighter note, I love how Anya is still portrayed as a kid so reading clocks and disarming bombs are just not things she would know how to do at her age. Kids live more in the present so Anya wouldn't have been able to fully process about the pros and cons of pretending to be a hostage over just writing a message to warn the spies. Loid at the end cracked me up with how he was doing flips and everything to lead Keith astray and the guy was just freaking out in the car LOL
Oh man, this episode was a whole lot darker than the previous ones. Anya and Mister Dog came in clutch. These cliffhanger are illegal
This episode was amazing! Twilight definitely was hit deep by Handler’s speech. This episode tells you how important Twilight’s job is and how he stops war on a daily basis. His death caused a war because no one was their to save the minister.

Handler didn’t kill them. Just gave them the fear of death.
I saw some comment mentioned that Anya's involvement in the terrorist's lair made Keith becoming the only one left while all his friends being caught since Keith chased after her. If Anya didn't come into the lair, Keith wouldn't come for her; he'd be with his friends, got caught by WISE when they moved to other hideouts, thus Loid woudn't die since Keith couldn't install the bomb. So basically it goes like this -> Anya's involvement -> Keith's not caught and installed the bomb -> Loid died. But it's crazy since Anya also saved Loid with her involvement. That means the future can be changed (either for better or for worse) because these two with superpower got themselves involved.
Anya isn't really 6 and she's already more mature and rational than a bunch of dumb college kids that want to insight a war
No, Handler did not kill them. She was interrogating them and got the locations of their hideouts (where Twilight and the other spies went to investigate straight after).

She probably handed them over to the secret police, which would've been the smarter move.

I love the handler interrogation scene. Knowing the misery and cruelty of war, every word carries weight.
My expectations going into this episode: A 4-year-old and her new floofy dog friend having an adventure
What I got: Terrorism, A thorough description of the true horrors of war, animal suicide bombers, and an uncomfortably close shave with the darkest timeline.
Seriously wtf my heart was not ready for this.
They had already hinted that the dog's future sight was only a possible future when the dog saved the child from the falling sign.
The dog saved a kid from getting crushed in the last ep. Already proved it wasn't set in stone
I think Wise took in orphaned children from war and trained them to be who they are now. Sylvia was speaking from her experience from a previous war one I suspect is the same war Loid was seen in his childhood hence why they seem kinda close.
I'll say this much, the two do have history together going back quite a few years.
It's probably that her daughter died in the conflict loid was in, and maybe her daughter and loid used to be friends
I swear this family is perfect. A spy dad, an assasin mom, a child who can read mind, and a dog who can see into the future. If they knew each other's ability they'll be unstoppable and can save many lives and end the war!!!

That mustache agent definitely has to be fired. The dude sees a clear sign not to open a rigged door and proceeds to ignore it, then when he has a clear shot at his target, instead of taking it, he waits a little more so the target has the chance to react.
Well judging him with just two scenes and telling him to be fired is too much of an extreme. Not everyone will be Twilight level. Maybe he's specialised and experienced in few things that WISE saw some potential on him. Who knows?

It funny, the future Anna saw with loid death was her fault to start with, since she snuck into the bad guy base, reading the dog mind. And the fact then the mom, stop the one guy and he had to run. Plus sending his crew away got them caught since they had intercepted the message of seeing them in the area

In a way you could see the dog’s power is kinda like Nighteyes quirk! How he gets “glimpses” of the future that’s meant to happen. But with Anyas power to see those glimpses she can change the future! Kinda like how deku changed it.
