Yeah, I can see what they were going for...but it would be nice if games started having accurate subtitles and dubtitles similiar to the Judgment series

Some of the translations in this game made me chuckle, such as others calling Alain by name only, but the conversation text has sentences that have more than 3 or 5 words.
Hearing the voice of Raenys say anyone's name affectionally but 'Ainz-sama' feels so weird lmao

It's an amazing game! There hasn't been anything else like it in the past 20+ years. Hopefully we can get a sequel down the road.

My friend played through Eiyuden, but I'm hearing a lot of mixed things about glitches and localisations, so I'll probably pass on it to have more time to focus on playing through Stellar Blade from this Thursday.

I can't completely get behind how Selvie sounds in original Japanese voicing. The thing is, the way she dresses makes her look older than Alain, like a mature woman in her early thirties. The English voice given to her (and which I happen to hear first) was also the voice of a mature woman. Yet here her voice is of a teenager. Not saying that this is bad thing, it's just that, in my opinion, such voice does not really correlate with the way she looks.
That's a fair assessment. I never played with English voices, so it might be weird for me to do the opposite of what you did and listen to hear English voice, especially after putting 40+ hours into the game.

Well, that was depressing. I was led to believe that there was same-sex romance in the game, but all the romance is here (although not all the endings are really romantic, e.g. Berenice), and the same-sex options are basically "bros 4 life."

@@cgtioThere were maybe four that were a little more romantic than bromantic... the one I liked the best of the ones I saw was Bruno's, but I went into the game intending to chase down Lex (though his Chloe chasing made it harder to suspend disbelief) but then Clive caught my eye... that one was sort of borderline, but nothing like with Berengaria, who had a great ending (and if I was straight, I probably would have went for her).
Berenice's is the kind of romance I like... So, I disagree with you on this point. Way more credible than other. And finally, I don't mind just having female romances, not to be forced to watch a romantic male relationship: I mean, and it's just my opinion, I never felt any chemistry between all the dudes and Alain during the game...
@@benilinshingoseth2086 The problem is that there should be better thought put into Alain's male relationships so that there are some chemistry moments with other guys with regards to the ending. The JP culture really seems to struggle with this.
