Mistakes I see when reversing around the corner

In this video I explain the mistakes I normally see when people are practicing the reverse around the corner. The main things I normally see is people not reversing back in a straight line, not looking when they are steering and not being able to straighten up after they have gotten around the corner. Enjoy

This was so helpful, thank you. Reverse around the corner is something I did well in my lessons but I fudge it when I'm practicing. I'll keep watching your videos & try keep this info in my head.
I'd forgotten about quarter/half steers!

Hi Anthony. Just wondering is it ok to slightly tilt the inside mirror down while doing the reverse and then move it back up once reverse is completed?

Yes if you like but you shouldn’t have to… have it set up before you go for your test so you can see the curb

When I reversed around the corner, is it ok that when it comes to straightening up the wheel you briefly stop for 2seconds? or would you get docked for this? Again thanks for the videos

Hi Anthony, do we need to stop if we see that there is a pedestrian crossing behind my car about 10m (about 16 feet) away once the wheel is straightened ?

why can u hit the curb in your turn abouts or drivinf without a major but it’s a major in reverse around the corner

You could fail your test if you hit the curb on turnabout

Can you stop reverse in a test?

Yes you can stop but try to do it in one smooth go. If you have to stop once or twice it wouldn’t be the end of the world
