Tantive IV Battle in VR - Oculus Quest 2 (Very early test)

  • My first experiments with VR after I picked up an Oculus Quest 2 last month.
    This is all running native on the Q2.
    This is a very early alpha gameplay loop as a first run. It's essentially a corridor shooter in VR
    The character models and animations are dreadful at the moment and the death animations are a bit off.
    It will eventually become part of my Episode IV: A New Hope - The VR Game, which will include the action scenes from the first film from a first person perspective, designed exclusively for the OC2
    The VR Millennium Falcon and X-Wing scenes are currently under construction...

    This is really really nice work!
    I've been working on my own SW inspired starship based heavily on the Corellian Corvette. Do you have a reference for the corridor interiors that you used? Because there are large parts of my ship that are supposed to be the same as this and 3D modelling it by eye has been...challenging :P

      I was thinking more in the vein of design plans or measurements. I prefer to make my own :)
      But yes, Unity!

      @@Rohan2300 Well I have corridor sections, doorway sections and corners. Theyre FBX models and scaled correctly. They snap together in Unity. You could perhaps use them as a guide if you like. Am happy to share if you're still looking.
      I did find one youtuber/animator that mocked up a CR-90 interior some time ago. when I was looking for inspiration.
