My comments regarding instruments: - I am also not a fan of clips, but they may be useful sometimes, I guess; - magnetic pinholder looks cool, should try it some day; - I like using thinly sliced soap for marks on dark/colored fabrics, also felt tip markers with 'washable' marking from school supplies section are usually cheaper than any special sewing markers; - my first electrical sewing machine was Family brand for 140 in euro equivalent - still going after 19 years!

The washable marking from school supplies are my favorite!!😋 And so true, my first sewing machine was 60€ unbranded and it worked for 10 years!
