You shouldn't hold the wires with your hands when you measure ohms. Your body is a resistor and can affect the results. Alligator clips on your multimeter are better.

question: I have a 100W soldering gun, I seemed to stop heating up. I changed the tip and still nothing. I tested for current going in, It has. I tested the light bulb for current, It works. But I fear its perhaps the transformer part, How can I test that part?

You got 13Volts.......... While testing in Current Mode
How is that possible ?
if your Multimeter is set to A then you cannot get a reading that reads V AC or V DC
for that to happen your Multimeter must be set to V AC or V DC
if you thought you were testing the current but had the meter in Volts mode then YOU WERE ACTUALLY TESTING VOLTS
also, Were you testing IN-SERIES or IN-PARALLEL
Because In-Parallel is a VOLTAGE Test
Current Must be Tested In-Series

I've checked transformers which in primary have about 1.4Kohms. 1st test should be done with the 2Kohms scale. A test of 0ohms is for shorted coil, and 1 or L in the left si de of the display (infinite) is for opened/broken coil. Thanks for the video.
resistance of primary and secondry coil of transformer can't be a scal of KOHMS. the only explanation is that your coil is cut off

Why you are selecting Ac

TRANSFORMER BASICS...
1. A Transformer is an inductor
2. Watch a you tube video on HOW DOES AN INDUCTOR WORK
3. An inductor is basically a wire and if you feed DC Voltage into it it will behave like a dead Short
because the wire has low resistance
4. However if you feed AC Voltage into it it will store Current in the magnetic field
5. Now if you bring another inductor with less windings close to the first one, THE ENERGY WILL BE INDUCED INTO THE SECONDARY COIL
6. Therefore DC VOLTAGE CANNOT FLOW THROUGH A TRANSFORMER.
ONLY AC VOLTAGE CAN FLOW / INDUCE FROM ONE SIDE (THE PRIMARY SIDE) TO THE OTHER SIDE (THE SECONDARY SIDE)
7. Since Only AC can pass through the Transformer YOU SELECT AC VOLTS on your Multimeter to Measure the output voltage on the secondary side
