Brilliant. I know they wish they had written it.
EC at one of many zeniths in his career.
Love how Derek takes a pause and lets Doyle have a solo before rejoining him. That's the mark of true professionals who never try to upstage one another. Great band!
Best Live Band going right now. Love it.
Have to agree.
They got my vote!
Heaven, why, why, does mainstream skip over real talent like this. HOW ITS DONE
Trucks cut his teeth on Derek and Dominos. Watching him play is like watching history!! Amazing!!
Great to hear this tribute to my favorite band of all time. All guitars were EC on the original. He & Bobby Whitlock knocked it out of the park . I do miss the gtr break during the drum break....
Great version
As a left handed guitarist, I'm amazed that Doyle truly plays upside down, which is something that I could never even fathom, let alone accomplish. He busts out those leads exactly like the album. Legendary.
my all time favorite band.
such a brilliant group of musicians. the way they play their music is just so pure.
medicine to the soul
+cammie k. sandi Well I have to say you have a lot of good medicine , because these guys got a lot of it, with you, they are great, hope your soul is fulfilled
Playing a Song almost 50 years old still sounds great....amazing
What an absolutely beautiful version of this classic tune..well done by all!
loving you crazy for keeping these Masterpieces alive!!!!!
Good to hear Derek keeping the Allman Bros. sound alive...look forward to more good stuff from T/T.
Love this song.
DAMn I am blow'in away, that was some duet, whew
love this band.. and like to hear bramhall play with them. lot of good notes goin on there
Derek looks more and more like Santa Claus, but the music is christmas 365 days a year ! Saw them twice live ...still have goosebumps.....
Put guitars into the hands of the right people and this is what happens...epic success...
looks nice. hope to see more of the show.
***** yes waiting for the audio that was recorded from the mics that stood 3 inches from the cam. should be excellent
clamp clamp
DEREKISUNREAL...........DOYLEISROYAL........SUEISWHEW!
Great Stuff.
Dwayne is smiling.Southern rock is in great hands .
these guys are the shit
I think you'll find, upon further research, that Duane Allman made extensive contributions to lead and slide guitars on the album.
То је све врло коректно; штета што код тих финих и, још увек, младих људи нема мало више емоција...!!
Came on Susan..
#TurnTimUp #AsUsual
TTB- ALL The Way !
Two drummers is an interesting thing
its a very 70s thing😄
Better guitar tone than the original. Only In my opinion of course.
Does Central Park not have a competent spot light operator.
Great musicans! I guess it's just the hair but man he reminds me of Gregg Allman.
This how I imagine Duane would be playing if he hadn't been cut short 50 years ago
Sexy drummer behind Derek at 3:10
Vocals got no bite
who is the other voice?
The back singer for TTB
@@allanbriggs9007 MIKE MATTISON
@@pgonzo98 That's correct. I notice he's getting a few more solos now. Great singer in his own right.
Just imagine Lowell George singing this
Bramhall looks rough. Almost like he's been hanging out with Jojo Mayer a little too much.
what the F is a Tedeschi? always see that label next to Derek Trucks.
+Macreviewz Uh, the lead singer, Susan. Just my bias opinion but best female vocals I’ve ever heard. Many other songs of theirs highlight her power and soul, such as I Pity the Fool and Angel From Montgomery/Sugaree Live at Fox Oakland for a sample. Many many more. 🎧
Susan
Derek’s wife
Mike Mattison anchors the vocals and is nowhere to be seen
He was right on the right hand side of the drummers. You get a glimpse just once.
I miss Todd Smallie, Yonrico Scott, Kofi Burbridge, Mike Mattison and Count M'Butu of the DTB. That was a great band! This feels too much like the Grateful Dead to me. And sorry, but I'm not feeling Tedeschi on vocals.
You're entitled to you opinion, but most of the players you listed were members of The Derek Trucks Band, not TTB. Mike Mattison is with TTB. TTB is very little like The Dead, excepting the 'jam' aspect of their music. I saw the original Dead many times and always thought they were a little sloppy in their playing. TTB, on the other hand, always seems locked in the groove. I've seen them live a number of times and they've always been musically free, but in sync, if that makes any sense. As for Susan Tedeschi????? I don't think there's a singer around who is able to sing as tenderly as she and also take it way down in the dirty alley too. While TTB is a great band on recordings and TH-cam vids, there is nothing quite like seeing a TTB show in person. They are probably the most talented and versatile band touring these days.
Feel again you missed something
Saw them in Australia on two successive nights - never played the same song twice. They are a brilliant live band. Susan's a great blues singer but also sing those tender songs well.
Doyle's level of talent is so mediocre that I wonder why he is on the stage with the legendary Derrick Trucks!
Are you just trying to be contrary or not? Doyle is an excellent guitarist, but he is not extravagent - just plays the guitar
Too bad few of these clowns knows how to sing.
Just stirrring are we????
my all time favorite band.
such a brilliant group of musicians. the way they play their music is just so pure.
medicine to the soul
+cammie k. sandi me too they are beyond words
They are a great band.
I think Derrick is the reincarnation of Duane Allman, the twin drum's on key. Allman Brother's ESK... Butch Trucks was his uncle, best drummer in the land,in the day..Bet ya Duane is Derrick's Dad ?
@@jeffwilliams1729 well that would be reason to call the national enquirerer... Cuz Duane died 9 years before he was born...
