Terrell Suggs is another guy who didn't start his rookie season but was very productive. Only had one start that year but had 12 sacks. Flores will put Turner in a position to succeed

I don’t see Evans falling that far. He was our best corner last season. The NFL has great talent at WR he held his own most of the time.

I think you’re putting too much stock in the UDFA group. Great players. Don’t wanna take away from them. But Pace was one in a million. MAYBE one of these guys pan out and that’s AWESOME. But 3-4 of them? I just don’t believe it. Would love to be wrong
I agree, but the Vikings have a long history of getting some value out of UDFAs, and I think it's because of the team culture. Vikings have long been one of the teams that players have liked to play for, and that does give us an advantage in UDFAs, so we end up with a lot of those priority picks, and have for years.
I also just think we have good reason to trust in our coaches to find a niche for these guys. Definitely most of them will end up being practice squad guys, but I bet at least one ends up being a longer term asset, and I'd also bet a couple more are decent special teams guys.
I don't think the starting job automatically goes to Darnold simply because he has NFL experience
