I Wanna Learn Camtasia To See If I Wanna Get It And This Helps Me Understand It Better. Thanks For Making This. Also Now I Know That Its Also A Recording Software Too I Really Wanna Get It. This Helps A Lot.
Why do I have to have PP2013 or later installed to inport a Power Point Presentation? I use Libre Office and all my presentations have been converted to pptx format?
There is a very technical answer involving used PowerPoints API and whether or not you're using a 64-bit version of the software, but the long-and-short of it is you may find it easier to simply record your powerpoint (or Libre Office) presentation using the Camtasia recorder. Not the exact solution you may have been looking for, but Camtasia can easily do a full-screen (or partial screen) recording in extremely high quality.
Hmm, that shouldn't be occurring. You could try unstitching them again, trimming the frames out and re-stitching, but it seems buggy if that's occurring. If my suggestion doesn't work, you'll want to open a support ticket with our technical staff by going here: bit.ly/ts-gethelp Please note, response times are currently slowed but they will get to you as soon as possible.
When I us Camtasia to change duration of many photos to make them a video. Then I get gaps in them. Adobe Premiere had ripple edit but Camtasia doesn't. What to do?
If you delete a clip and want to close the gap, you can hold the Shift key and select the first video on the right of the gap which will select ALL clips from there to the end and move them together so you can close the gap (and it also helps to have Snapping turned on). Hopefully this helps! If you go to this page and scroll to the bottom where it says "Resources" you will find a very useful Hot Key Mini-Poster (for either Win or Mac) - www.techsmith.com/tutorial-camtasia.html
Have you tried clicking "Shift" and then dragging the playhead? That will move everything from the playhead on together all at once. Another option if you want to make all of your images last for a predetermined amount of time (3 seconds instead of the default 5 seconds for example) would be to go into Preferences, then select the Timeline tab and change the "Default image duration" to your preferred length. We do not have a ripple delete option that I am currently aware of.
Found the answer myself--your video should list if it is for Mac or PC to not waste time--thanks Techsmith for noting properly. For everyone else -- use the Command key to split media (for Mac) :53
I got the free trail for Camtasia and I think it is great so I am going to buy it. However when I first downloaded the trail my virus protector blocked it and uninstalled it. It let me download it back. It worked the second time. If that happens when I buy the full version and it uninstalled again does that mean I would have to buy it again or could I get it back some how?
If you leave the program installed on your computer, you won't have to install it again. You can simply activate your trial by entering you software key. If you did uninstall before purchasing, though, you could reinstall without a problem.
Stitching wasn't added to Camtasia until version 8.1. Since you own an older version of Camtasia, you do qualify for upgrade pricing, which is half the cost of a new license. To learn more, and to purchase the upgrade online, please visit this link: www.techsmith.com/camtasia-upgrade.html
I really wish that this wasn't $200. I have used Camtasia Studio 8 before and loved it. Not saying that $200 isn't a fair price, the price is actually very fair. It's just the fact that I don't have $200 do spend on a software.
I edited Kamatasiya 9. Now I will keep working for that file and open it again after doing all the work I will work from then how to save that file ??? Thanks in advance.

So a view weeks after letting someone know in the comments here that you guys offer a subscription through Steam, you guys decide to end it! Way to make me look bad. lolol. Why is this happening?
Sorry for the inconvenience! At the time, we were offering the subscription, but the Camtasia team made the decision to remove the offering there, as the Steam platform no longer fits with our current and future distribution strategies. Let us know if you have any questions.
I love Camtasia!!! Your the best.

@@techsmith The Gap will still remain as I have 2000+ Pictures which I want to use.
Using Shift will only let me close one gap. I have 2000 gaps.

We're pretty magical! (The principles haven't changed between versions, even if minor UI changes have been made, they won't affect this tutorial).
