Great tutorial but I sure would like more info on why does Camtasia allow specialized and formatted subtitles but then you cannot export all that work with the special subtitles and requires a separate *.SRT file?
Hi I've watched your video and it is really helpful just that I'm still getting started using camtasia to edit videos more professional. But my question is how do I make thumbnails in camtasia?
Thank you for the video! I am learning how to use Camtasia for a new role I am interviewing for and this was helpful! Also, do you use Adobe Premiere? If so, which one do you recommend using more? People say Camtasia is better for tutorial videos while Premiere is better for more cinematic content.
Adobe premiere is more professional but also more complicated. If you're looking for minor non super advanced edits, Id go with Camtasia. But also yes I would agree with your statement because with camtasia I can record both myself with a webcam and the screen and edit them individually, but Premiere is more of an editing software, not recording
I'm only a couple of minutes into the video, but I was looking for a tutorial on Camtasia 2023, which is how this video was captioned. Everything I've seen so far is Camtasia 2022. Because the 2023 version only has a 3 day free trial, not 30 days, I don't have a lot of time for playing spot-the-difference between the two versions. Maybe consider changing the caption to reflect the version you're teaching?
Camtasia 2023 is the newest version that was very recently released. At the time of making the video, Camtasia 2022 was the latest version. Video says it's a Camtasia tutorial in 2023, not a Camtasia 2023 tutorial.. They usually release the new year version midway into the next year as they did for 2023..
@@IvanMana Ah, ok, thanks for explaining. When I looked on Google for tutorials in the version I’d downloaded, I failed to appreciate the difference between “Camtasia tutorial 2023” and “Camtasia 2023 tutorial”, the latter being my search term. It doesn’t help that I’m trying to evaluate the product in only 3 days because that’s the ridiculous free trial period *sigh*
@@mariongordon4199 Yeah makes sense, you have a valid point. I wish 2023 was released earlier, then of course I would have made that video. And yeah 3 days isn't enough... but hopefully you are able to find what you are looking for and see if you like it!
@@IvanMana This is a video for Camtasia 2022? Why is 2023 in the title? What a massive waste of time this would've been for me if I would've skipped the comments here. Seriously, dude. WTF. You're misleading people. Call it Camtasia 2022 Tutorial For Beginners. I'm not the only viewer that thought you're teaching the 2023 version. You can't expect newbs to know the release schedule.
@@RedPill780 Not misleading people in the slightest. This is a Camtasia 2023 Tutorial for 2023. Even IF this was a 2022 tutorial, there are barely any differences between the 2022 and 2023 versions. Lol. Maybe actually open the software before spazzing out?
Really? Appreciate the feedback, but I only zoomed in and out for relevant parts so you could see what I was clicking on. Less zoom ins and animations than most other videos in my niche... First time someone tells me this. Lol
Nice video, Helped me a lot.
Thank you Carlton, happy to hear that!
Very good training from beginners
Thanks for the video. Could you kindly let me know the mic you are using to record the videos?
Thank you, Ivan. A very good, detailed tutorial.
Thank you JLCA!!

Thank you, Ivan. Great tutorial!
Thank you Maria Angela!

Thanks Ivan for the nice tutorial. How do you zoom in and out during a recording in camtasia?
That’s amazing

Guys, I tried rendering a 7-min clip. 7 minutes only. And it says rendering will take 2 hours?!?!??!
Full video within around 1 hour to 1.5 hours on DaVinci Resolve will be highly appreciated.
I have never used it, if I get into it, I will make a video on it :)
