- Sp finally after a great year of world class fishing the 1990s 17ft Wilson Flyer has game to another home, and I now have my dream boat the beautiful Scarlett!
Words can't describe how happy I am please believe me

Least your in the diggr mate I've got 2 slipped discs in my back man waiting for Dr's to confirm it with mri. Literally suffering everyday man I regret coming back on the tools I really do

Nice one Kev, one thing I found out with our last boat which was a 21.5 foot Seaswirl Striper inboard is to make sure you have a couple of auto bilges when you're moored. Our one only had one auto and a normal switch on type. After a torrential downpour which dumped almost 6" of rain in 12 hours. The auto bilge got stuck and couldn't cope with all the water . There was so much that the stern came down lower than the suppers and the engine well started to fill. Long story short, by the time it was noticed and called me ( I only live 1/2 a mile from our mooring) she was filling up wit water still moored to the dock. I reached in and switched on the other bilge but it was too late. We now have a 22' Defiance with a 150 Yamaha outboard and 3 bilge pumps, 2 of them auto's. Have fun but stay safe.

Lovely boat that mate, will fly along. If you aren’t familiar with stern drives though make sure you service every year and change the seals otherwise you’ll be in to big repair bills. Plenty of adventures to look forward to on her 🎣 🎣

you will enjoy fishing from her thats for sure, I have a wilson flyer 23ft which will see me out, lol but your boat is much more a capable boat in rougher water and ride comfort, looking forward to you vids with her, as long as you take someone with you to prize you out of the double bunk, snoring makes lousy vid material lol

Yh man that's the one just marinised. Not got the best reviews engine wises but hopefully if i keep on top of the maintenence she will be good 🤞🙏
Good engines just make sure the belts been done and put a injector cleaner in it every fill up and make this time of year keep the tank full to stop condensation instead tank and put a fuel bug cleaner in it aswell mate
