At first I thought The learning tree was a little strange, but it is now rubbing off of me in a good way. I really believe Chris Jericho is a genius. This guy's got so many different catch phrases and characters and they all work. In terms of promos he is definitely one of the best if not the best. Obviously Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock have been very entertaining, but I really do believe Chris Jericho's right there with those guys. Sure if we're talking specifically about wrestling only, then guys like Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels are at the very top.
I find it hilarious that fans consider him to be one of the GOATS alongside Austin, Rock and Angle. He’s no where near the level of the, just because he’s got longevity doesn’t mean he’s GOAT status.
Not the point of this vid but i just thought man aew really sold the Undisputed era, some of it was their fault some wasnt but when they all sent to aew i expected some cool crazy stuff and none of it ever happend. I at least wanted a elite vs Undisputed era match. That sucks
It's incredibly sad to watch AEW falter and fumble so quickly. Hopefully TK grows a spine and tells talent NO. or let's someone else book. Because he SUCKS at booking.
Let say me this; getting rid of the FTW title was a good move by AEW. Now, what's funny about the rumors about this being about the a possible tv deal is that this is what people said during his first reign with Roh title. Also, if look into who is behind the rumors this time, its basically Dave Meltzer and random IWC accounts and has no basis outside of that.
Basically it boils down to Jericho being so self absorbed and thinking he is so necessary to aew’s success, which was true the first year or so, that he has to be on every show taking precious tv time away from younger guys who will be more important to the company going forward. His act is old and I think it’s time for him to move into more of a part time/ backstage roll.
I believe Tony Khan just bought ROH to stop WWE from getting access to the library. Now it's an albatross around his neck, and he doesn't know what to do with it.
Jericho started going south once he dropped the title to Mox and started feuding with Matt Hardy in COVID. He has really outrageously dumb and cringey ideas and has no leash to keep his worst tendencies in check. You also have to stop Meltzer's influence on AEW. He has always been a mark for Jericho and always had been treated with kids gloves by the Wrestling Observer.
This is a 10 minute video about why Chris Jericho is hated by everyone. A lot of people in the comments agree about give their own reasons. Two weeks ago he made a 8 minute video going over Saraya's career in WWE and AEW before explaining why he thinks everyone hates Saraya. Zero people agreed and the consensus was Saraya is not hated and that she hasn't been booked well due to her limitations from previous injuries. For anyone wondering why I am mentioning Saraya, it's because 2 weeks ago the person who runs this channel said Saraya was the female Chris Jericho. I didn't see it then and I don't see it now, because most bad things said about Saraya in AEW is again attributed to her past injuries that now hold her back, but the heat she gets when on TV seems to be normal heel heat. Most bad things said about Chris Jericho on the other hand is because he's always on TV (more times than Saraya) as well as his online presence on Twitter and the heat that he gets is "Go Away Heat".
I just get the feeling that Jericho - and he's not the only one on the payroll either - is going out to court "Go Away" heat. There are at least three others that come to mind and on screen all too often at the moment in AEW/ROH that are mistakenly convinced it's the way to drum up attention. Who will always get the laughs - the comedian that has their audience laughing with them or the comedian whose audience are laughing at them?
@@hishamhilal8332 IMO she doesn't have a bad personality. Controversies yes but everyone does, however none of her current controversies are linked to her career in AEW, except for maybe going on Twitter and vaguely saying she's tired of being pushed to the side and overlooked. That's literally the worst she does outside of AEW, but inside AEW she asks Roman Reigns during his run as Tribal Chief which can't be compared to the level of hate Chris Jericho gets. Chris Jericho doesn't just have "Go Away Heat', he has Tony Khan heat and so do the Young Bucks low-key.
TK put the ROH Title on Jericho to shop for a TV deal. He's easily the most recognizable name on the roster for most TV people! He's done TV in other forms! It makes sense for a business move but it sucks for fans!
Remember that after his reign as AEW World Champion people (including me) were calling him on of the best of all time because of how much he had done for the business and how many times he had reinvented himself. It's amazing how much he has managed to ruin that image.
Chris jericho is strange.... his association with donald trump, the allegations. He acts like he's 25 years old partying all the time. Seems to have forgotten about his family
Due to Benoit's condition (especially his brain), one could have guessed this beforehand if it had been properly examined and STILL it could have turned out much worse. It “only” cost 3 lives. Don't get me wrong, I think it's as terrible as anyone else, but if it hadn't happened, it wouldn't have been investigated afterwards and therefore chair hits to the head wouldn't have been banned (which ultimately led to the safety of many people). Furthermore, things could have been even worse, e.g. B. a school shooting or something like that & if "only" people die, that's still better than 30 children, but I'm digressing from the topic. The fact is, despite this act, Benoit is still considered one of the technically best wrestlers ever, as is Jericho. However, Jericho's career continues because he is still alive and simply doesn't want to retire. This slowly destroys his great achievements and good reputation until he is simply hated by everyone. Due to his advanced age, his in-ring skills continue to decline, which also destroys this (actual) advantage. If things continue like this, people will only remember negative things about him, even though, and we have to give him credit for that, he has achieved so much. People say about Benoit: great wrestler, terrible person. If things continue like this with Jericho, people will say about him: terrible wrestler, terrible person & he doesn't actually deserve that.
You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become a gelatinous shadow of your former self desperate to cling to relevancy like a skidmark on the toilet bowl of life.
They are getting Jericho into a position for Joe to come back and take the ROH title. Apart from a short feud with Big Bill when he turns face either after Joe or a potential feud with Edge, I think we'll see him go part time.
I think an interesting video would be “Top 10 ways AEW could save itself and improve its product”, especially from a channel with Top 10 in its name. Wonder where I could find such a channel?🤔
6:15 True but u also have to remember AEW DOESN'T have a PPV Every month. A good example of this from last year is the MJF Adam Cole storyline. The reason it got dragged out so badly is because AEW doesnt have a PPV every month like WWE does nor do they have once a month "Special Dynamite" they can make feel like a PPV.
I’m old enough to remember when C-Zorrow being ROH Champion was supposedly done to help curry favor for a television deal. It’s been years! Ring of Honor isn’t getting on television.
Tony is a FAN, not a promoter! He gets a name on the market, he goes for them! Besides, Chris has been there since the very beginning! Chris left WWE, not the WWE let him go! They wanted him to resign but he wanted to help AEW!
I get that Jericho likes to gain the upper hand at everything and carry the weight of AEW on his back but having him being shoved down our throats by being shown constantly on our screens, especially for a guy pretty much past his prime is getting old at this point.
I'm not a massive fan of Jericho, but I disagree with this somewhat. Hook isn't worse off since the feud. Although I agree that ROH should stay with ROH.
His problem is this insistence on being fresh and relevant. Most others wrestlers once they've reached their 50s are pretty set in stone about who they are because they've spent decades establishing themselves with the audience. Jericho for some (insecure) reason continues 'reinvent' himself like he's in his 20's trying to find that breakout gimmick.
A very sad and depressing fact Since the beginning of AEW Jericho had not had one single feud that hasn’t involved being in a faction or teaming with his apparent rival
I love the y2j gets tv time bc personally I never got to see much Jericho growing up bc I only had smackdown. Also this has given a spot to big bill and Keith who I think are great as well. Dude used to be in my top ten wrestlers, but he's been so devoted to coasting on his boss's fannishness & pretending to boost others while only boosting himself that he's an embarrassment. Also, given his physical shape lately, it sadly wouldn't surprise me if he had fallen off the wagon.
If Jericho were a REALLY bad booker, he'd make sure he "won" almost every single match of his. But since he seems to "lose" more often than not, I have respect for him in a way I don't for You-Know-Who (BROTHER!). But if he truly knew what was best for the company, he'd turn his character face and join Team AEW. It would make perfect sense. He played a major role in opposing the Alliance in 2001 and the Nexus in 2010, so he should oppose the Elite and Death Riders today.
Personally I would like ROH AND AEW to be COMPLETELY SEPARATE brands. U could make ROH the NXT of AEW for example and MAYBE having a once a year AEW/ROH crossover show.

@jacquelineangione1837 yeah that song is awesome.
@@jacquelineangione1837Same here man, that time he call himself Le Champion. That is the Jericho I want. I am not even a fan of his, but Judas song is crazy.
Incredibly well done video! This lines up with the sentiment I share toward Jericho. To think it was not that long ago he was cheered like a hero...
When Poochie isn't on screen everyone should be asking where is Poochie? Jericho is Poochie.
Oh God, Jericho is going to get angrier, louder and access to a time machine!
When are we getting to the fireworks factory?
I have to go now my planet needs me 😂
@@beerguy177 Jericho died on the way back to his home planet
Let's hope he makes it to his home planet
Looks like Tony Kahn refuses to learn from WCW
You should get a job
You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
I think he should work with a part-time schedule where he can work more prominently in his matches and have 8 to 10 matches in a year with more star ratings that matters more for AEW and working as a full-time Color commentator on AEW commentary desk.
It’s funny he used to do that back in 2012-2016 with wwe, he came in for a few months, worked with a young talent, then eventually disappeared to work on fozzy or any project he doing at the time, I don’t know why he doesn’t do this again
He's getting way too much TV time
Jericho looking like ‘06 Ric Flair 😂
Flair still was bette
Soon, His wrestling pants gonna fall down like Flair during the match 😅
I find it hilarious that fans consider him to be one of the GOATS alongside Austin, Rock and Angle. He’s no where near the level of the, just because he’s got longevity doesn’t mean he’s GOAT status.
In his prime he's got talent too brother!
Chris Jericho's current gimmick is coping with the fact that he has created his own "X-Pac Heat"
Not the point of this vid but i just thought man aew really sold the Undisputed era, some of it was their fault some wasnt but when they all sent to aew i expected some cool crazy stuff and none of it ever happend. I at least wanted a elite vs Undisputed era match. That sucks
Elite vs. Undisputed Era would've happened if Cole and O'Reilly didn't get hurt and Bobby didn't try to lead a mass exodus
When is TK going to realize that Nobody cares about ROH? If anyone cared about ROH, they wouldn't have been sold to TK in the first place
Exactly. He should just end ROH and focus only on AEW.
Attitude like Hulk Hogan
Body like Seth Rogan
If you could hear it, there’s a Bully theme on the background😂
This is the guy who calls CM Punk "cAnCeR"? Total projection
Have you considered, Dave Meltzer said Punk is a big meanie bojeanie
Big Bill should have won the ROH World title.
you are right he needs a break
How is Jericho going to help ROH deals when he is never actually on ROH shows?
Put the ROH world title on Shelton Benjamin
And the AEW world title on Bobby Lashley
From Y2J to the lolcow of wrestling
He’s booking has been a problem for 2 years or more. No one wants to see him. He completely destroyed his legacy and everything he has done
Pretty wild how long it’s taken people to realize the problems in AEW. But wait…..I thought the problem was Punk?!?!?
I don't think her personality is linked to her injury
Both Jericho and Saraya have problematic significant others.
@dr.snakes and for that reason we should hate THEM? If that's the case people who dislike your parents should also dislike you.
TK put the ROH Title on Jericho to shop for a TV deal. He's easily the most recognizable name on the roster for most TV people! He's done TV in other forms! It makes sense for a business move but it sucks for fans!
Please don't tell me Tony Khan pulled a "Not Cosmetically Pleasing" on Mark Briscoe.
MARK. F•CKING. BRISCOE.
jericho shoould just manage Big Bill
Or announce table
Na bro he’s a legend aew need a mix of old and new
I'm 36 and seeing Jericho wrestle now is worse than watching saggy ric flair when I was 9. Please Jericho, give it up son.
Even when he was over the hill... Before he was really over the hill in TNA, Ric Flair still had some magic.
Remember that after his reign as AEW World Champion people (including me) were calling him on of the best of all time because of how much he had done for the business and how many times he had reinvented himself. It's amazing how much he has managed to ruin that image.
It’s astounding that Bryan Keith is cool enough to successfully pull off a leather vest and was STILL put on a team with Jericho
Chris jericho is strange.... his association with donald trump, the allegations. He acts like he's 25 years old partying all the time. Seems to have forgotten about his family
Who care he likes trump? His main problem is that he suck now and takes too much air time.
He's doing a troll gimmick that's going perfectly.
Why do you think he wears the thick orange makeup and blue lips
Jerichos body looks like someone let the air out of him
You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become a gelatinous shadow of your former self desperate to cling to relevancy like a skidmark on the toilet bowl of life.
Couldn't agree with this video more! 👍🏾👍🏾
I would love ❤️ to face him in a AEW Match.
At this point I'm sick of seeing Jericho, I went from loving him to just being tired of seeing him. Jericho on TV = bathroom break.
The downfall of Jericho needs to be studied. It's amazing to behold. He was on my Mount Rushmore of wrestling, but now he's among the worst.
His act is meh right now. Also seeing him hold the ROH World Title hurts. He didn't need this.
DIDN'T have, they do now
I’m old enough to remember when C-Zorrow being ROH Champion was supposedly done to help curry favor for a television deal.
It’s been years! Ring of Honor isn’t getting on television.
PLEASE do a top 10 saucy moments in WWE video with Editor Greg!
He's a huge reason I stopped watching a year ago, I would say I can't believe it's still happening, but I can.
I loveeee it !!! The way everyone is bitching about Jericho ... for me is awesome !
Tony khan loves to push these old ex wwe wrestlers
tell that to the Hardyz .........
@supportpatriarchyordietrying lol wym he try to and didn't work
@@noeljoynerlucasfanguillen3504 then he must try hardyer LOL
Tony is a FAN, not a promoter! He gets a name on the market, he goes for them! Besides, Chris has been there since the very beginning! Chris left WWE, not the WWE let him go! They wanted him to resign but he wanted to help AEW!
@supportpatriarchyordietrying lol it's to late now because they in tna smart one
I love his segments. I think he has helped many many wrestlers, pretty much everyone he has worked with. Don't know where this hate is coming from.
Do you ever do top10s?
I enjoyed AEW but every time I tuned in, it was basically The Jericho Show and I got bored of it, it was a shame as there is plenty of other talent.
Watching so many wrestlers I once loved just sour their rep is so sad.
Weather its in ring or personal stuff its all a shame
I feel I have seen this thumbnail 100 times.
Chris Jericho is paid millions, so yes he should be highlighted and showcased.
I don’t necessarily have an issue with Jericho being the ROH Champion, AS LONG as he IS NOT on AEW TV.
A very sad and depressing fact
Since the beginning of AEW Jericho had not had one single feud that hasn’t involved being in a faction or teaming with his apparent rival
At least his Inner Circle and Le Champion run was decent
Yes... ROH definitely needs a plucky young upstart Chris Jericho to spearhead their organization. 😂😂😂
I love the y2j gets tv time bc personally I never got to see much Jericho growing up bc I only had smackdown. Also this has given a spot to big bill and Keith who I think are great as well. Chris can get annoying for sure but I don't think all the hate is warranted imo. Just wish he took himself more seriously tho.
Meanwhile malakai black haven't won a singles title then lost all his momentum
Cool video as always Tom 💯
Might be a subtle shot at The Reign of Terror of HHH and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
I think the point of the JAS and the Learning Tree was to parody Vince WWE. Jericho then decided to make it just as unwatchable because he forgot what satire was

The "hi guys" definitely came from Last and Cornette.
I noticed that the Bully soundtrack is being used here. Great choice of music here from such an underrated game. Btw, Jericho's character is at it's worst. I feel like he's become delusional in both his current character and in general.
His reinventing ability has peaked
Chris Jericho is becoming the Triple H of early 00s
