Oh it's going to be amazing. You'll have all the AEW fanboys who once said he was one of the best in the world saying he's overrated and injured more people than had good matches. Meanwhile the WWE fanboys who said he was a gymnast not a wrestler who injures everyone will act like he's one of the best in the world now and that WWE have signed the next world champ. Maybe act like a PROFESSIONAL Wrestler and honor your contract. These modern wrestlers are a bunch of cry babies. Wish I could go to work and act like this. Be a man.
That's not how this works they're not paid per appearance, there's no set number of dates they have to work. Typically deals are guaranteed to earn X a year regardless of how many matches you work, however if you work over Y amount of matches you'll get paid Z for every additional match. So say I was given a contract I would be guaranteed £10 a year, with each match being worth £1. It doesn't matter if I work 1 match or 10 I would be paid the £10, however if I wrestled more matches I would earn that £1 per additional match. The time has been added on as Fenix was unable to be used for however many months of his contact he was out injured.
Pffffttt have you seen Vince's booking of little guys especially luchadors? Even guys like Mysterio who got over were booked terribly. My money would be on Fenix getting signed and end up put in a group like the lucha house party or be off TV 6 months at a time to come back for the giant Vince wants to step on him this month to squash
Why are people crying about this? He signed a contract. If he didn’t read the contract stipulations, that’s on him. Also talking to people about going to another company is all not the best way to handle things. If you do that at ANY job, there will be repercussions. Next time just stay quiet and earn you money like everyone else does. Also, learn to read the contracts you sign. If you do have a problem with your employer, be upfront and honest with them. Otherwise you will be treated the same way you treat them.
@ Yeah so. If they extended his contract because of injury, that’s because it’s in his contract as an option. Also AEW not using him and his brother is because of how they have been acting about wanting to go to WWE. They can easily just stop talking about going. Work their contract and then leave. But no they had to cry about it to Konnan and then it became public. That’s on them. They made their bed. Now they need to live with it. So what’s your point again???
@@gherreraj why extend his contract and not penta whats the point of keeping one but not the other Fenix is injured sure but i meam stuff started happening when their contracts wer expiring and rumors of them going to wwe it seems like aew is just preventing wwe from getting them by forcing rey to stay while injired and no plans to use him.
@ The point is to act respectful to the company that gave them a chance. Yeah things cannot work out and you can want to leave. So go talk to your boss about it. The moment you start to whiny online and in public about it is the moment you asked to be treated that way. As a boss you have to step up and make examples out of your employees when they act in bad faith to the company. Otherwise everyone will do the same thing. There are consequences to your actions. Especially when you sign a contract. That’s the point. The same can be said of WWE. Why do they have 90-30 day non compete clauses for after their contracts end?????
Who cares what Ray Fenix says. I’ll say it again he’s an upper mid carder at best and isn’t shit without Penta. Enough with all of the sports entertainment fans out there throwing shade at AEW. They’ve been around what 7, 8 years now? Why do people expect them to be the same as WWE? It’s 2 different products from opposite ends of the spectrum. One wants to entertain wrestling fans with good in ring action and the other wants to pander more towards storylines and not so much in ring wrestling. I’ll take Kenny Omega vs Adam Copeland or Orange Cassidy rather than seeing Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins.

8:26 my Man U said the link below like 3 times 😂 also solid video man AEW is ass they need to let fénix and penta go
Why shouldn't AEW do what they are doing WWE do the same
TK is a split image of Vince McMahon.
Lolololol and people actually disagreed with Punk through all of the warnings.
Children running the show lol
I thought that was Rey Mysterio
AEW is trying not to become like the other brands when Vince was running wwe 😂 they don’t wanna lose the talent to better checks but it’s wwe it’s the best
latino here so am very biased but rey fenix is a great luchador hope they push him, penta, and dragon lee in WWE
How many times does 1 have to say aew??? Literally an aew directly after an aew 😂😂😂
"Oh no, I'm being held to a contract that I signed." Never mind that he's a menace in the wring who's likely to injure someone, himself included.
Vince is the greatest promoter to ever exist plz don’t compare Tony the clown to Vince
When penta comes to wwe please keep him away from lwo and ldf
This place is a joke - cm punk -
This statement is getting more and more accurate by the day
Also that TK isn't a real boss and this isn't a real company predicated on making money
@no1sequal mjf is literally the most groen up person on that entire roster he understands the business
Ricochet and Mercedes are losing it 🤣🤣
@@no1sequal and free palestine

AEW = WHERE THE BEST WRESTLE*
*if Tony Khan allows it, and likes you for that month
There was no shady extension like WWE used to do. What's happening to Phoenix is referred to as legitimate contractual obligations. I was a huge lucha Bros fan but after all this mess I'm hoping they leave sooner rather than later. Very unprofessional behavior by them.
Shill.
This is the exact same situation that everyone was criticising WWE for with FTR and Brodie Lee
@@elcactusdelamuerte506 Yep. This guy's just making excuses for AEW.
Polarfamily = TK spooge drinker
@@onigames7309 exactly regardless of which company it's a shitty move harming talent.
Although I have to admit I've been laughing my ass off at the situation. What's this the 5th or 6th time the luchabros have screwed themselves over due to a combination of not reading a contract and not being able to keep their mouths shut? You'd think by now they'd have learnt their lesson.
I wonder how long they'll last in WWE before crying their deals are unfair or they aren't being used enough.
Ray fenix beat moxley it's canon
I wonder how many AEW marks are going to claim they never liked Rey Fenix from the beginning.
It's been a hundred plus years since wrestling left the circus and yet the marks are still as fickle as ever 😂
I wonder how many WWE marks are going to claim to be fans of his after they were saying he did flippy shit in AEW
Do dream dream match between CM punk and freight Ray Phoenix’s would be dope as fuck then they have a match
tony k is a clown who also can't book.
Bro needa lawyer
FREE FENIX
Not that crazy. Typical
Maybe act like a PROFESSIONAL Wrestler and honor your contract. These modern wrestlers are a bunch of cry babies. Wish I could go to work and act like this. Be a man.
Well damn
Why can’t Rey Fenix find his own doctor like everyone else does? It’s almost like he’s just saying stuff to get fired and join his brother in WWE
Missed dates need to be made up either Fenix does them or gives back the money he's been paid!
No real information in this video. All speculation and information from other pro wwe accounts.
Tony Khan is nothing like Vince McMahon...Vince McMahon would've seen the dollar signs on Rey Fenix and used him correctly.
Aew is in a pretty terrible state right now
Why are people crying about this? He signed a contract. If he didn’t read the contract stipulations, that’s on him. Also talking to people about going to another company is all not the best way to handle things. If you do that at ANY job, there will be repercussions. Next time just stay quiet and earn you money like everyone else does. Also, learn to read the contracts you sign. If you do have a problem with your employer, be upfront and honest with them. Otherwise you will be treated the same way you treat them.
They extended his comtract While hes injured amd they have no plans to use him
Boo views in one minute bro fell off
If crybaby Rey didn't injure himself doing stupid shit all the time his contract would have expired by now.
Stupid shit that Tony Khan easily could've said no to and changed up, but nope, gotta be brutal even if it causes serious injuries. I seriously doubt the injury has anything to do with it and if it does, why extend the contract? TK should just let him go, but noooo gotta add an extra year and keep him for no reason. Just let Fenix and any other wrestlers who don't wanna be in AEW anymore go
Wouldn't he want rid of Fenix after he dropped Moxley on his head, twice? If hardman Mox can't kick out you know you done fucked up
Fenix is overrated af
