Sound was weaker than normal but very good nevertheless (and I don't have such good hearing), watched it on my laptop.
Thanks for the summary! I have a Trance E+0 and even with the 625 whr battery, it’s so efficient that I don’t think I need a larger one. I’m getting about 2000ft of climbing with the auto mode on and still have almost 90% battery. The bike itself is just plain awesome and I’m happy that I didn’t t pay the bigger bucks for the Levo.

Thanks! I wonder if the EP8 gets updates thru the year? I just got a Canyon ON CF8 and the motor is awfully quiet, uphill or downhill............none of this clunking I hear about. The thing rips, loves going fast on tight trail.

I’ve just got my crafty r. It’s definitely got a clunk down hill. Wondering if it’s the battery but as it’s fixed so not sure how involved an investigation will be to get the motor off and have a look. Edit! Just remembered I upgraded to rattling xt finned pads. Need them out so I can isolate. 👍🏻

I came from specialized gen 2 motor 2020 levo, i had to chance twice the motor after that i change my bike for a shimano ep8.
Dang those prices though! Pretty happy to pick up the Pole Voima delivered for under $8.5K US loaded with high end options.

I've got a question not really relating to motors, but I'm debating right now between the 2022 Trek rail 7, (so with the same geo as 2021) and the 2022 specialized Turbo levo comp alloy. Which of these do you think handles better? Cheers!
Hey Gabriel thanks for the kind words! Both the Rail and the Levo are amazing bikes, I personally feel the Levo is more versatile and more capable as stock but the rail can be pimped up like Rob has done! Hard decision out right speed the rail is faster but the Levo is more fun!

@@gazbuck73 Its better that it does not fail as much but it still does fail occasionally. Excellent feel and power.
Double that the sound is broken. Okay on phone and iPad (but not good), same on Apple TV when sound output is on the tele, but almost completely silent when sound output is on Home Pod Mini. Maybe this helps. It also could be that the TH-cam algorithm put out the vid too early, it’s only 720p. Maybe shit heals itself by tomorrow.

Seems that the talking is mono in left speaker, with only a right headphone u can't hear him talk..
The EMTB mode on the Bosch is a game changer for me. Just choose EMTB and the motor give you what you need, if you dont need much it dials it back. BTW I have 3 mates with Specialized bikes, gen 1 2 and 3, all have issues, dead batteries, broken power cables and lattterly dead TCU. The Gen 1 owner has 5 dead batteries in his collection. All have been left stranded.
Which motor is the most reliable?
You should do a comparison of the best microphones, but this time don’t coat them in Vaseline! Great video though!

Still no Rocky Mountain 4.0. From what I have read/watched it is the motor.
Need to remedy your Audio. And what is the problem with no one comparing Dyname or Bafang, to The Top 4 brands? My Bafang M510 with a 700 watt battery, is a powerhouse for climbs and is lightning on city bike paths. Best is the maintenance/component costs. Very maintenance free after six-months of use(straight through a entire Winter season), and no issues. Like all TH-cam bike reviews, they only concentrate on what the top one-percent can actually afford. Us little people, don't mattter.
I’m right in the middle of a long term review of the bafang m510 and I just did a review of the Dyname
I went through 6 motors on my 2019 Levo never getting more than 900km out of a motor. I have had my Trance for 7 months now riding 1,400km problem free so Giant and Yamaha get my vote. In my opinion Specialized is over rated and over priced. I was so happy the day I sold my Lemon Levo.
@@2011buddylee It makes no sense does it, was it my riding style that killed the motors or was my Levo just a lemon? I am riding my Trance harder than I rode my Levo and it does not have a problem. Time will tell I guess.

Your audio is messed up through air pods, i thought they were broken but i watch other videos and they are fine, the audio without airpods is fine but with airpods you cant even hear your voice

The price level of Giant Bikes exposes the absurd margins other companies use on their pricing. you basically get the same bike for half the price.
Then again, even at that level E bikes cost a lot compared to let say a motorbike.
Giant is the biggest bike manufacturer in the world…. That would certainly help with them being able to keep their costs down a bit. 🤷🏻♂️

It's absurd that a so-called expert doesn't understand battery capacity vs power. Battery capacity is measured in watt-hours, not watts which is a measure of power and seldom quoted for batteries except when talking about raw cells. Watt-hours is what you should talk about for ebike batteries just like electric car batteries are quoted in kilowatt-hours.
