Which emulator did you use for Dolphin? MMJR will offer the best performance. Also, the “slowdown” is a bit unusual from performance issues of other systems as it’s actually caching. When the data loads and you run the same scene, it should run without any issues.

I wonder if you used the performance modes with the fans coming on for the more demanding emulators? Seems like you just used the default mode,which is why you may have struggled?
I ordered a switch light screen protector and it fit pretty well. VERY small gaps between the bezels if you center it just right. Also the Case I got for mine is from a company called Ivoler and it fits the odin very well.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure GameCube runs full speed, you just need the proper emulator, I think it's the MMJ version. Just do a search, but I'm sure F-Zero is the only game that needs some setting tweaks, and I've seen that one running at 60, and that game is like GoW on the PSP, it's one of the harder GC games to run full speed. AYN also showed Mario Galaxy 2 running really well in some of their early promo videos, also on YT. PS2 is getting better with AetherSX2, as it's a fairly new PS2 emulator, so don't know if it will ever get good enough to run all PS2 games full speed on Odin, but it will for sure get better with time.

Can you please tell me if the built in controller is recognized as a usb device on the android system? If so I could use virtual here to remotely connect controller to pc. I know moonlight and steam link can wrap controller as xinput but I prefer using superdisplay for game streaming.
MMJ is an option, albeit not supported for a while now. I'm sure some settings can be tweaked but imo, that's not what ppl were likely hoping for regarding gamecube performance. Ps2 specs are lower in all areas than the GC and I've seen lesser devices get away with 30 fps min for many of the games. My hope is to see this succeed and one day an upgrade that'll be the end game for years to come..snapdragon 888 with cooling would suffice :)

Odin does support Xbox layout, you can change it from settings, you need to use Dolphin MMJR/MMJR2 for GameCube with some tinkering, and you missed fan and performance modes entirely.
@@heavenlypath1065 Give it a few months. Theirs a few things coming soon that will if not rival the odin pro at least offer 3-4gb ram and 2.0ghz+ processor options making gamecube, psp, ps2, and dreamcast viable at the 140-200$ price points.
@@heavenlypath1065 Probably because I got my retroid pocket 2+ a few days ago and for 99$ it blows everything anbernic and powkiddy have to offer at the moment. The rp3 is going to be even better. Also the miyoo p60 is supposed to drop sometime this year as well around the 200$ price point. I know their miyoo mini has been a big hit. It can run ps1 and you can buy it for as low as 48$. Pretty amazing compared to some of the crap out there. I know ive spent more than that on a cheap generic chinese handheld that couldn't even handle most ps1 games let alone n64 or anything else. Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to receiving my odin pro and it will be my best handheld for likely years to come unless I get a steam deck but the current retro handheld market is really starting to flourish which is especially good for the consumers.
you can test shooter and FPS games like code Mobile, Pubg Mobile, Apex Mobile, Cube and PS2 games like Call Of Duty, medal Of honor, brothers in arms, 007 agent. Make these tests for us who like shooting games. thank you very much for your attention.
IDK but I found my 10 year old Toshiba Satellite Laptop that has a i5 inside, but I can't find the charger. I'm gonna buy a replacement charger and probably A battery later on(I'll keep it plugged in when in use). Then I'm gonna wipe windows 7 and install Batocera..

Mine arrived unable to charge, shows odin logo and battery icon and cannot charge on any USB-C power from wall, PC, etc. It was clearly sent with a battery that needs to be discharged. They will not pay for return and will not send a replacement so my advice is simple: DO NOT BUY THIS.
After AYN got back to me, we fixed the do l issue pretty easily so it's working just as it should now. Also, I meant DQ VIII not DQ X. Cheers!

There is a chat on Reddit that shows setting for emulators needed to run 100%. This fixes slow down and hiccups when just ran default settings.

It just says "Dolphin". Usually it would say MMJR or the like but it's the only one I found in the Play Store.
