Oh no, hes a huge bust when you compare him to the players at the same position wbo were drafted after him. Sabonis was picked 11th and Siakam went 27th. Not to mention how many valuable starters came after him in Hield, Murray and Pöltl. The Suns saw Porzingis and went after the first person who fit the bill, even if Bender had been vastly underscouted, he was 7-1 and had very good mechanics on his jump shot. Who cares if he coupdnt rebound, pass, defend, score in the paint or really even dribble.
That's not true :D i dont even know this guy but he isnt the biggest bust of the century what about anthony bennet? got picked 1st overall and dissapered from the league within 4 i guess years
Both are respectfully absolute garbage. They both put up 5 and 4 so really you can go with ethier one. The fact you've never heard of Bender really shows how bad he was as a 4th pick ☠️

They followed it up the next year by drafting Josh Jackson... so clearly somebody got fired
