I just wish there was a bell sound every time the timers were over. I just kept going studying until the whole video was over and I thought to myself "those were the longest 25 minutes ever" hahahaha
In a way that's a good thing! Seemed like you were able to stay grounded and be focused that entire time. Otherwise others may be too distracted and focus on watching the timer than the activity in front of them.
@Eddi3Pwns it's more about feeling burnt out for staying focused for too long than actually being focused for too long. Reason why the pomodoro for ADHD people works with the 25-5/25-10 min break.
there is a little sound but my brian filters it out cuz it sounds like a part of the music. i had to get used to the sound so I would hear it when it played

I'm trying to get through anatomy classes, I gathered enough mental fortitude to do a whole class in like 3 days and managed to retain most of the information and I made a nice little sheet to remind me of the things I have 2 left, about 2 hrs long each, I'm going in, using this video and advice.
At first, it was kinda hard to focus for 25 minute straight, but when i keep doing this, my brain start to adjust the pomodoro technique and i'm getting better on focusing. Yayy!
It takes me about 15-30 minutes to get focused, but then I need to keep going and NOT TAKE A BREAK or I'm screwed, if I break at all I lose it. This is why doing homework before midnight as a youth was so hard because of distractions like chores, dinner, being told to do stuff by my parents, etc, and why I was chronically sleep deprived and/or didn't finish my homework and almost failed out of middle school despite being "smart"-- how I got my ADHD diagnosis in the first place.
Love that the breaks were only 5 minutes it was long enough to get up stretch and use the bathroom but not long enough to decide I want to start a fire on my own
HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! This helped me get all of my homework done in 1 hour and 40 minutes when I had been CONVINCED that I wouldn't be able to rough through it because the workload is so incredibly boring and I would get distracted all the time. I didn't even feel the need to take a brake, my hyperfocus was activated so the time passed really smoothly. I am sure many other ADHDers feel the same way as I do. Keep up the good work!!!
I DID IT!!! I have a lot of difficulty focusing and putting effort in things that I don't like because of my ADHD, but this time, I did it :DD I took my focus pokus pill, I sat down, put on this video, witch has lo-fi and pomodoro and I did a whole essay and math exercises!!! I canNOT tell you how exited I get whenever I do something like this, it's so rare, but whenever I actually do it, I feel amazing. I mean, the lil' ol' me was able to focus alone, at home, for 2 HOURS! It's in times like these that I remember that I actually enjoy studying and I like absorbing knowledge. Also as someone that is 10 months away from taking a test that will help me to get into a good university just turns all this into something very special, so yeah, I guess I'm really happy with my progress :) For those that are having difficulties, YOU GOT THIS!! Even if it feels like you don't, it's no problem lying to yourself a little bit if it'll help you get better >:D after all, it won't be a lie, after you go through all this video studying >:)))
@@iamankitajena it's ritalin. @user-gk8fn8dl2s 1. Break your project or task down in to smaller and more specific tasks. 2. Select one of the tasks. This task is the only thing that you will focus on for the next 25-minutes. 3. Work only on the selected task until it is completed. If you become distracted, reset the 25-minute timer. If you complete the task, you may move on to the next task. 4. After 25-minutes, take a break. The first break is 5-minutes and every second break is 15-minutes. For example, 25on-5off, 25on-15off, 25on-5-off, 25on-15off... Each of these are one Pomodoro cycle. 5. Give yourself small rewards during your break such as a snack, drink, stretch, walk or breathing exercise. This will encourage a sense of reward for sticking to the task. 6. Be easy on yourself if you're unable to stay focused at first. Remove the distractions and get back to it. Time for me to get back to my project that I've been avoiding.

Stress disorder isn't a thing, what do you mean? Either way, if you relate then absolutely look up things that help people with the condition and try them out. The main function of a diagnosis is to figure out what kinds of needs and support you might have. So even without a diagnosis, you can explore that.
Good luck for everyone here! Whether it is works, study, or something else you're trying to focus on, I wish you all the best! You're not alone in this 💖

I wasn't sure Pomodoro would work, but I got halfway through before I realized I was halfway through and I really did get more done than usual - I'm going to keep trying this technique.

Thank you very much. Great music with pomodoro timing: great!! Thank you, really. Just one suggestion: transform this music into 8D or isochronic sound, which I've read are great for us 😄
Thank you! This has worked wonders compared to other pomo timers I've tried using. The music just borders between being too boring and too distracting that I can easily put myself back to work. The repetitiveness of the rounds also helps me associate it with being on task, starting off really energetic at each cycle and then quieting down. Also does anyone else get Wandersong vibes ? it's SPECIFICALLY when the timer is at 1:10 mins left and I catch it EVERY TIME
this is my first time playing this video after I got my diagnosis at my 28 yo and using medication, I literally pulled out a 2x50min pomodoro session because i didn't realized there was a break after the first 25 minutes
I can't tell if this helped me focus or not. I was originally motivated to clean my room because I scheduled a video chat with a guy I met online. A friend had been helping me for a couple of weeks, but in the 2+ hours it took both of us to clean a third of my room, I was able to do double that in 45 minutes. This is also considering I was barely able to maintain the sections both of us had already cleaned, so I had to go over those again, too. I have to say, I was distracted MUCH less. Also, ADHD is amazing. While my friend told me to stay focused on one section of my room at a time, my ADHD made me clean every random spot in no order, so I actually ended up cleaning more of the room in less time.
I really like the vibe :) I still have a little issue with the end of the study breaks or study sessions because when I am hyper focused I do not notice the ring bell :')
Ugh no one is at my workplace over the summer and it's so hard to get anything done without body doubles! I'm hoping that between this and medication I can focus and get some work done! 😖 Good luck, everyone! Things don't really get any easier, but hopefully that headache will subside! xo
(coming from a person with Adhd) This was great! I was procrasting my work and this helped a lot! I will do it again whenever I have any homework to do
I stopped at the break, but then I look up again and there's a "Well done!". Confused, I look at the time of the video. I don't have any words for the feeling I'm having right now
I was struggling so hard to find a playlist that could help me focus, most of them don't do anything to me, but THIS, THIS ONE RIGHT HERE worked like a charm. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
hiii^^ I usually dont comment much but I wanted to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart its been months I just cant seem to focus properly on my studies no matter which subject my brain just coudnt focus well I always ended up procastinating or doing something else and I was pretty frustrated but thanks to this video I finally menaged to restart learning things and now I literally use it for everything study related by the way Im a university student so this literally saved my ass lol
Amazing thanks! Would be helpful to have some kind of alert sound that the pomodoro session is over as I have it in a separate window and end up losing track and not being able to keep to the timings. :)
i love this so much! so cute and aesthetic :))) for those with executive functioning/task initiation difficulties, can i request a more guided video, like gather your materials, establish your goal, break down first few steps, did you complete your goal, etc?? i know it's a lot but that's precisely what our brains struggle with!!!
I love this in theory, but as an ADHDer, while this can be ok for physical tasks like moving stuff, Pomodoro is a NIGHTMARE for seated work involving my brain: give me just enough time to start focusing, forcefully make me break focus for just long enough to lose momentum but not long enough to actually feel like I've had a break, then try and focus all over again, rinse and repeat. Still appreciate that it exists for those who this DOES work for. I need a 2 hour work time to 30+ minute break (the first half hour of the 2 hours trying to get in a groove!)
I don't have ADHD but this was really helpful on general I like how the timer doesn't start from the beginning so it made me feel like I already done some progress and that made me wanna continue it Thanks a lot I'm definitely doing it again 🤍
Do you have a playlist of the music on this video? It is truly the only one that helps me focus out of all the pomodoro videos. The music is the right balance of chill and energetic without being distracting or putting me to sleep.
HEY YOU THERE ! STOP THE SCROLLING THROUTH COMMENTS ! DON'T YOU HAVE WORK TO DO ! NO MORE SCROLLING!
I really like the vibe :)
I still have a little issue with the end of the study breaks or study sessions because when I am hyper focused I do not notice the ring bell :')
I will do it again whenever I have any homework to do
This helped meee get through self taught Japanese lessons THANK YOUUU
Thank you! Every little trick helps!
I stopped at the break, but then I look up again and there's a "Well done!". Confused, I look at the time of the video. I don't have any words for the feeling I'm having right now
Thank you so much for this!! I’m going to use this right now to get this pesky submission done, just the thing I needed!
I hope it will help 😊💕✨
@@theminiadhdcoach❤❤❤
I love you so much for this, i actually stayed focused and motivated for once in my life 🛐🛐
this is so cute!! i love the graphics on your channel
Awww thank you so much 💕 !!
Great job showing detail with the eyes
using this to get over a deadly week, i have a massive workload to reduce and i can't focus, this is the only thing that helps
Thank you this helped a lot! Got my work done :)
0:10 starts
I was struggling so hard to find a playlist that could help me focus, most of them don't do anything to me, but THIS, THIS ONE RIGHT HERE worked like a charm. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
best (and cutest) playlist for focusing I’ve seen so far, thanks!
hiii^^ I usually dont comment much but I wanted to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart its been months I just cant seem to focus properly on my studies no matter which subject my brain just coudnt focus well I always ended up procastinating or doing something else and I was pretty frustrated but thanks to this video I finally menaged to restart learning things and now I literally use it for everything study related by the way Im a university student so this literally saved my ass lol
Please, make more videos like this, it was very useful for me :) Thank you
This saved me from scrolling TH-cam lol. I have a huge chemistry test coming up and it's 10PM
Yeaaaah guys! Let's freaking focus!!!! Whooooooooooooooo🎉
I really like the music and the timer here, and then I just ignore the breaks and do it at diffrent time xD
Time is an illusion, especially for us.
Absolutely love this, and I really enjoy the Lofi music as well! Thank you for your video! :)
I don't have ADHD but this was really helpful on general
I like how the timer doesn't start from the beginning so it made me feel like I already done some progress and that made me wanna continue it
Thanks a lot I'm definitely doing it again 🤍
I always run here whenever I need some work done🗣
this is perfect bc i cant concentrate for a long time but also if i take too long of a break it will be hell to get back on track
GO BACK TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE, PLAY THE VIDEO, AND DON'T YOU COME SCROLLING DOWN UNTIL YOUR WORK IS FULLY DONE!
You got this buddy just don't get distracted and waste over an hour and a half like I just did rn T^T
btw can you wish me luck on my finals this year please i only have 5 days left and i am still not done with my work yet

Wish me luck, the musics certainly helping.
I am so thankful for this video. Always helps! I love how nice the "well done" feels. And I feel so encouraged with the message of the beginning as well.
What a wonderful video. Thanks to the playlist, I can focus and finish all my work. Thank you for making this video
Ima try using this for cleaning my room and doing other chores- let's hope it works 😀👍
Did it worked?
@@cantualfredo2 yup!
The combo of everything is just perfect :) Pt 2?
This is pretty interesting! I hope you make some more of these. Maybe some with ADHD binaural beats👏.
I wish there's another version of this because this is my fav one and I can read the pattern now 😞
