A list of unanswered questions for those that have made it through to the end of this game: 1) What or who are the Ghosts, the alien species on the other side of the Ganglion's war? 2) What makes Mira so special, in that it "attracted" people to it and never let them leave (Humans, Ganglion, Ma-non, Orphe, etc.)? 3) What is L? 4) What is Celica's full story? 5) What are the J-bodies? 6) Will Lin finally cook Tatsu? 7) Did other arks survive the voyage? Of so, did the Ganglion chase after them as well? 8) How does this relate back to the original, if it does at all? ...not sure if I listed them all, but it's a good start to the gaping plot holes of Xenoblade Chronicles X
Celica will probably be a key character in the sequel´s story since she´s a Qlurian and the life hold´s trion barrier is supposed to be made with technology exclusive to the Qlu system... aaargh i have so many questions! and why do we see the VITA during the earth´s destruction scene?
My only issue with this game is the sound balance between the music and the voices. Half of the time you can't hear a word any of the characters are saying.
I’ll be really sad if we never get a sequel to this game. Especially with that ending. This game feels much more inline with the original Xeno games, even if it seemed to sacrifice story for open world gameplay a bit. I want a sequel that ups the story and makes the gameplay more linear.
OnyxSkiesXIX Monolith Soft is now working on an action-RPG with Western influences from fairytale. It looks very medieval. Your only chance is Switch 2 or hope for JAPAN Studio's new open-world project that started on June 2014. We won't hear news about it until next year. SIE filed a Japanese trademark for SAVE THE EARTH on 6/6 2017. This means it's not far off now and it's in a playable stage in production. Puppeteer was filed in 2010 so I expect early 2020 release and reveal at PSX 2018 cause of Project P2 by Shift to be announced at E3 2018 (very likely a Freedom Wars successor). What the producer from JS said about the project he can't say any details yet, the studio in general is moving forward with creation of ambitious new titles and new concept titles at the same time. It's going to be a pretty exciting time for JS fans moving forward. Forget about TLG, Gravity Rush, Knack and Everybody's Golf. That wasn't excited for worldwide fans as Bloodborne was. The producer on this project had Xenoblade X as game of the year in 2015. And FFXV in 2016. The creative director had Fallout 4 as GOTY in 2015. Yoshida who is really excited about this project had FFXV as GOTY in 2016 too. So we can assume what direction they will go with this project when it's aimed mainly towards the overseas audience. What we know so far about the project it has a mix of staff who worked on Soul Sacrifice and graduated rookies from uni. An insider said this in 2015 on NeoGAF: "Uncommon art style. Uncommon genre (at least from SCE WWS). Interesting looking. Different from the usual kind of games we get. Third person. Kind of cinematic." It's not as ambitious as God of War but on the same level as Bend Studio's Days Gone and Sucker Punch's new IP in terms of production values. We also know in 2013 that JS was going to look for a Japanese author who will pen a script/story for it. They want to knock it out the park this time at their second attempt since Legend of Dragoon wasn't considered as a commercial great game. Suikoden Memorial Revival interviewed Yoshitaka Murayama on mid June 2014 and that's where we found out he was involved with a project that is aimed mainly towards the overseas audience. They had recently launched the project and didn't know when they will get it off the ground. Murayama hasn't been involved with a big RPG since Suikoden III. He writes some interesting deep stories. But his only game he made for the global audience when he left Konami was 10000 Bullets for PS2 and when that was a commercial failure he stopped making console games. He did though pen a story for Alliance Alive but that was a small game for Japanese audiences. Interesting to see how he will pull off a deep story for an open-world RPG, he is definitely going to take help from side-quests writers. As for art direction we know little to nothing. But if we look in the past Legend of Dragoon, Folklore and Soul Sacrifice have all the same art style but with different gameplay styles and concepts. Plus studio chief Allan Becker has said on April 2014 they are going to retain the core at JS to make creative, novel and imaginery titles. Probably something similar for that open-world project. We have to wait and see. 2017 is not the right time. While we wait there are other games to look forward to.
OnyxSkiesXIX Update: Save the Earth was a renewal of a PSP title in Japan. However, Sony Japan trademarked RaySpace in Canada on 12/28 2017. Nice classification: 9, 41. Just like Days Gone. Fun fact when I finished this game I never watched the ending credits scene so in my mind they got to be in their real bodies again But DAMN im unhappy by that ENDING CREDITS CUT SCENE!!!!
Great video. I love Xenoblade Chronicles X and it's my favorite game. Sure, it took a long time to load when I turn off the computer to take a break but that cause I have a crappy computer. Just one question: On the last battle with Lao, why did your SKELL run out of fuel that fast? The same problem happened with me and I can't find out why.
+ThrillingDuck Yeah it's quite awful, if there weren't any subtitles it'd be impossible to hear sometimes... One of the rare real weaknesses of this game.
ILLMAKEYOUEATTHOSEWORDS Honestly though, this was the first thing that came to my mind when the cutscenes with music started appearing. The VA is.. decent, nothing on the "I'LL KILL YOU" level that Adam Howden delivered in XC1, but the way the balanced music and VA it really felt like it came straight out of SA2.
Zappler Not as much that would make that challenge exciting. I'd say more for Tatsu and food jokes, and for a Xenoblade take a shot, more like the classic how many times in chapter 1 they say Monado. Or a good one, the amount of times Shulk says "I'm really feeling it!".
I loved Xenoblade 2 and 3D, but didn’t feel like going back to the Wii U to play X. I’ve only watched the first half of this, but I REALLY want a switch port now
If you have a Wii u and still wait for the switch port you're doing something wrong. The game already looks better than both XBC1 and 2 and doesn't have the resolution problems of the definitive edition. The only thing a port would do is change some systems to not require the gamepad and increase the resolution if we're lucky. Maybe even a DLC, though I wouldn't bank on that
Man this game is the best game ever conceived. I feel like nobody got to play it since it was released on the Wii U. I loved the original. It had the best story ever conceived. I just felt like the scenery and gameplay just felt bland after taking it in. However the combat system in X is amazing and really fun. And every single nook and cranny was amazing to discover. If your watching this and have a Wii U, get this instantly. It was the best 500 hours of my life and give this game a chance.
4:09:30 Genuine question here: Where exactly is the “non combat zone” outside the city? I would think a ship like that with no protection would be a sitting duck.
Well, nobody knows for sure. The game sold well (for a Wii U game) and the supporting cast has alot of open endings, like Celica for example. According to the affinity chart Celica is a qlurian, the spieces how designed the lifehold-shield (Luxaar:"No one outside of the Qlu system has access to Trion technologie", in germany the qlurians are even called Qlu), but there is no futher evidence to draw a connection. Maybe this is just a joke by the developer... I bet on a sequel... or atleast DLC.

digifreak90 And that the story is basically your average anime mecha alien Story as well as the characters?

Almost correct, besides the characters

Wait is it just me or does Lin's hair piece looks the Mondo (if I'm spelling it right)
You mean The Monado and yeah you're right
Ok making sure
+Shadow Dragon M-O-N-A-D-O.
You're right it does look like the monado
I trying to find some secret cutscenes I remember but can’t find them weird.
cutscenes about what?
DiegoRaist It’s like a mims that looks like Clause aka Zanza and Architect that’s the only thing I remember of that cutscene.
@@wolfblade6569 with just that description i cant tell wich cutscene you mean
WE ARE SO BACK, BABY!!! We finally might get more story, perhaps even with Telethia. 😎😎
7:58:13. Yes
I stopped playing the game after chapter 7 about one and a half years ago. I thought I would remember everything but I really needed this.
"So lao stay alive for linly or else...or else tatsu kill him"
Well so much for nopon pacifist
1:43:56 why is the manado in her hair
What's the song that plays at the 12th minute mark?... I've been looking for it everywhere.
Julian Montoya Search Mira's theme. That's not what it's really called but it should come up
this story is good i dont care what nobody says.
4:09:30 Genuine question here: Where exactly is the “non combat zone” outside the city? I would think a ship like that with no protection would be a sitting duck.
Finally. I've got the time to watch this:)
Ahh... The Xenoverse...
lin lee...........does she have the same VA as Edea Lee from Bravely Default??? And why does Tatsu remind me of a digimon??????
+aiden12carter Yes
They do sound very similair
Game looks fun, the story sounds okay to me I like the dark parts of it and the characters I like them like that potato lol
Shadoe Spence That potato thing was also in Xenogears. So I would say it's a reimaging of Xenogears with character design from Xenosaga.
“Bah! Linly talking way too many details!”
Ha! TMI! Love it!
Are you going to do a Game Movie of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 soon?
7:32:30 - Zanza left the chat
So is there going to be a direct sequel with how it ended.
We need a sequel, but it doesn't need an enemy in the game. It just could be a direct sequel answering all of the questions needed.
@@Sebastian-xy3xk I feel that x 2 should have the ghosts as antagonists.
Something about this planet
If only main character would be consistently mute or not mute at all.
i'am late but i want know where can i loot damask metal and what is the mob pls thanks you

Hey, Nopon! Do you know where Riki is? Or Shulk?
