you know you can also power your mk2 via usb-c if you are not using the usb-c port to sample, right? i don't have a ripcord and plug my power bank to the sp mk2 via usb-c all the time given that if i'm outside i usually don't have a computer to plug the sp in via usb-c. i'd like to mention also that when i use the sp to perform live i always prefer to power it with the power bank instead of the power supply because even if the venue has a power shortage the sp will stay on.

I'm an idiot. I never tried to power it that way till now and it works. Thanks for the insight. I feel the same way. Even if there is an outlet, I feel more comfortable with the power bank. Don't know why. Just do.

@@spitlogic there's so much to these machines to remember, you are absolutely not an idiot and your sp videos are very cool and useful!

I suppose. Still I like to be as accurate as I can. On the same note this is why this is a great forum for things like this. If I make a mistake i have people like you to help correct it. @delfiobacco7156

Also people saying the 6V causes the thing to go out during tasks so they advice you to go with the 9v but i think cables like this is a must when you want to sample on the go so you have a spare usb c port to hook you monile device up to.

The rip cord is a great piece of equipment to free yourself up. Makes my ferry trips really fun! I love that end message also about heading outside and making beats - very true!

Excellent video. So clear and well-articulated. Very thorough (you even mentioned getting weather apps and rechargeable batteries and why). Amazing. Subscribing. Looking forward to more from you. I already trust what you’re saying, so I can’t wait til you get sponsors here for audio equipment. Happy 2024!

Thank you. Getting some sort of sponsorship would be amazing. Until then, I will do what I can with what I've got and try to be as honest as possible. Thank you again for the support.

Big fan of it and had no idea how much I would use it when I started beat making outdoors.

While I am still waiting for my mk 2 to arrive, all of my gear (MV-1, Blackbox, Circuit Rhythm etc, hell even my DAW is Logic Pro on an iPad) is portable because I think one of the best things you can do as an artist is get out of your routine and day to day habits and go somewhere new. I rarely MAKE something amazing on the trip, but those trips absolutely get the creative juices flowing, and alter your perspective, which then ends up driving the creativity in new and unexpected directions. If you want to have something interesting to say artistically, you have to be interested in and experiencing life

That's exactly how I feel. In a lot of ways we are the experiences we have. That's what makes us different and what can make our expressions unique. How, when, where and why i make music culminates to the sound and vibe I give off.

Try a pelican case. Thet can take a huge impact yet are very well padded.

What i didn't mention is that I never carry that case by itself. It's always in my backpack. I guess that kinda acts as two layers of protection? Pelican makes good cases but my only issue is that they are bulky.
