- On today’s episode of the Unknown side, we are going to change things up and talk about the lore of one of the most popular archetypes currently in yugioh, Fallen of Albaz. Now this monster’s lore stretches across 8 different archetypes along its story. As a rough overview, here are the involved archetypes in no particular order: Spriggans, Dogmatika, Swordsoul, Despia, Icejades, Therions, Tri-Brigade and Sprights.

She is not the MVP. She is the actual main character.
Kitt is the actual MC. Albaz and Ecclesia are just the Damsels in Distress Kitt needs to save.

I believe Rugal was actually a "Kinslayer", as in, killer of kin. He didn't kill a king, he killed his brothers.
That would make more sense. Since I'm pretty sure killing your king would only have one punishment. Death.
Most, if not all, would love to exist a tv series about albaz's storyline.

There's a ton of archetypes I'd love to see anime for.
They already got a manga (it's covering sky strikers right now but considering) it's called yugioh ocg stories (I'm sure they'll get to albaz)

Oh also I think Rugal's crime was being a KINslayer, meaning he killed other Wolf Beastman. I don't think it was as intense as killing a king lol. Or else I think he's be alive rn if he killed a KING.

I absolutely love when Konami makes multiple archetypes tied by one card or a set of cards. I loved when they did it with World Chalice, and I absolutely enjoy what they're doing with Albaz
It's only annoying that Incredible Ecclesia is not a Swordsoul monster in spite of doing literally all she can to support them: special summons herself, special summons any Swordsoul from the deck, and has even become a level-4 Tuner.
I hope master duel has a solo mode that covers albaz story in as much detail as they covered world legacy
But unlike world legacy archetype where you can actually play all of them due to the world legacy cards working as the bridge and proper supports, abyss archetypes only have bridges on several places, making it difficult to make a lore accurate abyss deck.

No it isn't. There is a Word Dox out there with like 20 pages of information collected from all of Konami's VBEX lore books. He either missed some parts or he made some stuff up.

The albaz lore or the abyss lore also has some of the coolest monster design and strong archetypes like spright despia and swordsoul
Oh thank almighty God you decided to cover the Albaz lore. I really like your narration, and the fact that this is a lore-focused vid with a brief summary on each archetype and their playstyle instead of an archetype explanation disguise itself as a lore vid is the cherry on top.

Had no idea the Sprights were sorta "bad guys" in the story, I thought the Therions were a race of evil machines who enslaved the Sprights to power their kingdom and Double Cross was a reference to the Sprights finally fighting back with the help of Kitt and Sargas, its so cool to see the parts of the story I misinterpreted or didn't know be explained, definitely looking forward to the next parts and other lore you might cover!
Love this! It's so hard to find a easy to understand and concise video (or anything really) about card lore, especially with huge ones like Fallen of Albaz. Would love a part to as well as other lore video like this.

From DuelLogs told almost whole World Legacy lore for Orcust Crescendo placing in one of his vid, now we got entire lore video.
i love this! specially since it shows what events happen in which cards! i like that it tell the story well but shows the cards, so i not only understand the overall events but also the specific stories in each card!

He got some things wrong tho. No hate for him, he makes some of the best yugioh content in my opinion, but his coverage of the Albaz lore is really weak and in some parts wrong. I prefer either GoldenNova or Paragon Pictures

Thank you for giving a barebones explanation of the mechanics of most of the cards in each archetype alongside their lore. It really helps me figure out how I want to mix and match all these archetypes to make an Albaz deck.

This is an awesome video to stumble upon. One of the bright spots of my return to Yugioh is when I first dropped in, to Master Duel specifically, and set a goal for myself to make a big dumb cool dragon deck. I proceeded to do that, mutating the starting deck in pursuit of that goal as I went. Alba Abyss was a long-term special pack on sale at the time, and when I saw it I went all in with it as it was extremely appealing to me and I ended up hammering out a very bizarre setup over weeks and weeks that I use to this day. Its also where my FLAMING IRRATIONAL HATRED of Ash Blossom comes from for reasons that require no explanation. I still haven't gotten it quite right to this day, but I'm frankly proud of it as my first proper deck I put together with very little external influence.
So its extremely cool to finally see what all the lore is behind it. And surprising to see how many archetypes it got rolled up into. Though a bit of the mystique is lost with knowing what's what, it makes the inclusion of both Dogmatika and Despian elements around the Albaz core to be pretty funny. Thanks for the video!

This is very much needed with you being the narrator. I'm very interested in many YuGiOh lores, and Albaz specifically. Great job, honestly and looking forward for future parts! But I have one point I thinks you've missed; I believe Kitt used her jacket to capture Spright Blue and Red. Hence, the existance of Spright Sprind. I would also assume this happened after defeating Gigantic (Blue and Red forming it in Spright Gamma Burst). But that's my speculation and not based on anything other than the artwork.

I really like this idea of making lore videos, I have heard alot of different depictions for this lore specifically and they are all different on their own ways as there is no real story line every can use their imagination, the best one I have seen so far golden nova with his dogmatika lore playlist I really recommend it for any one who is interested in the lore . We will not have a real lore until Konami gives us some Canon material hopefully after the sky striker manga ends

I figured that Dogmatika, Tri-Brigade, Springands, and Despia all were in the same world because they kinda work together gameplay wise, but I had no idea Swordsoul, Icejade, Therions and Sprights were also involved.
