I have a tormek, if the scissor blades are very low in height they will not fit in the jig.. so small high end salon scissor need to be sharped by hand on a stone... the tormek is an awesome machine but not for small scissors.. in my opinion.

can you sharpen Razor Edge hair styling scissors with this machine ?
It is one of the few things we dont recommend because of their complex geometry, which usually require specialty equipment.

would this stand up to the high quality needed to sharpen professional hair salon shears?
