Hello, yes, you can deactivate this pump and drive, but it is not recommended. if you want to do the job properly, turn the DPF off. You have two variants either with DPF or without DPF. 😉

You SHOULD also be able to do it with the Thinkdiag and the Topscan. Artidiag requires no subscription, but the Thinkdiag and Topscan do. The Topscan is the cheapest. You can probably also do it with the Foxwell 510, 530 and 710.

I don't really understand this and I tried it multiple times on different PSA cars. For example, if PAT fluid tank/pump is at fault, you get errors like P1434 P1435. If you perform this procedure, these faults are still present in engine ECU, so the only way to really get rid of PAT/Eolys system is by remapping / DTC delete from engine ECU. So what is the point of this procedure? Thanks.
P1434 P1435 appear with an empty additive tank. Fill the tank and write it into diagnostic, either filling tank procedure or replacing the whole tank procedure.
The additive tank on peugeot 3008 was disabled but now my DPF keeps clogging. Right now it is blocked. I have had it cleaned but the engine management light came back on. The error is showin that my DPF is blocked again.
When the additive pump is deactivated, it is recommended to cancel the DPF. Without additive the regeneration temperature is not reached. You either fix the problem or cancel it completely.
@@chandamulenga9703 Canceling the DPF is not recommended also smoking or taking drugs is not recommended and yet people do it. It is everyone's decision and choice to do what they want. What is completely illegal and punishable by imprisonment in some countries is the manipulation of Mileage.

Modern Diesels without DPFs spread cancerous microparticles, that is the fact. Do some research before posting such videos. (And no, planes, ships or burning oil reservoirs in Ukraine does not produce the microparticles as modern high pressure turbodiesels do. And usually do not drive in towns, near foot-paths and uder peoples windows).
Once I reset the lights with a computer the lights go off and then when I put the diesel in (refill the car) the light go back on. I have a Citroen spacetourer 2018

So, as soon as you fill the tank next time, the ecu tries to add eolys again, detects a malfunction once more and set your trouble code again. Endless game, unless you fix the problem or delete the eolys system as a whole, as mentioned in the video. Which should be done temporarily only, because you're not street legal then.
