  • Moscow’s Little Kyrgyzstan presents the story of ten immigrants from Kyrgyzstan living in Moscow, showing the diverse reality of millions of immigrant workers in Russia in their own words. Subscribe to Journeyman here: www.youtube.com...
    It also broaches various themes that affect their everyday lives, such as the overbearing and corrupt Russian bureaucracy, harassment from the police and anti-immigrant sentiment among the general population, and looks into the effect of the current economic crisis in Russia on the lives of migrant workers and the changes that followed Kyrgyzstan’s entry into the Kremlin-led Eurasian Economic Union in August 2015.

      Lol Japan’s GDP was the second highest in the world in the 1970s and 1980s until it was overtaken by China. Today China has the world’s second highest GDP and Japan is ranked third. Where is Europe on this list?

    • @azzlaird5541
      @azzlaird5541 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      YummYakitori That’s such a stupid statement simply because your talking as if GDP equals wealth. Per capita is what matters and japan is only 31st in the world while dirt poor China is 73rd, while the countries of the European Union (as a grouping the highest GDP in the world despite it contains 3 times less people then China).

    • @YummYakitori
      @YummYakitori 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Azz Laird
      Your stupidity is the one that is appalling. You literally said Japan’s GDP is lower than that of European countries, not it’s GDP per capita. I’ll have you know that Qatar has the highest GDP per capita in the world at Int$130,000, Macau is second at Int$117,000, Singapore is fourth at Int$100,000 and Brunei is fifth at Int$79,600.
      Japan and South Korea’s GDP per capita are comparable to that of Spain, France and the UK; whereas Taiwan’s GDP per capita is comparable to that of Sweden and Iceland’s. Hong Kong’s GDP per capita is comparable to that of Switzerland’s whereas Brunei’s GDP per capita is comparable to that of Ireland and higher than that of Norway. Singapore and Macau’s GDP per capita are also comparable to that of the richest European country: Luxembourg. Furthermore all these countries have a population that is greater or comparable to each of these European countries mentioned.
      You must be one of those idiots who assume that “Asia” only comprises 3 countries / sovereign territories: China, Japan and South Korea

      Many kyrgyz people work and live in Turkey. Turkish government generously sponsor many kyrgyz students by providing free post secondary education at Turkish universities. Also, AtaTurk-Manas University in Kyrgyzstan is fully funded by Turkey, providing students with excellent education free of charge. Kyrgyz government regularly recieves support in every aspect of the economy from Turkish government.

      Well then clearly the Turkish government is still not doing enough if these migrants are choosing to go to Russia instead of Turkey nonetheless. It means that Russia still provides more benefits for the Kyrgyz than Turkey does.

      Panturkism idea sucks to be honest. Because very different cultures and religions between turkic nations and mentally are different. in Turkey kyrgyz migrants are being discriminated and become a slave, in Van province there are kyrgyz people that moved to there hundred years ago and they also being discriminated. Turkish people say them "land is our, water is our, go back to where you came from". Turkish people take their passport. Turkish people do unrespectful things to kyrgyz people. But the government of Turkey does a lot of things. provide free education in Turkey university, building hospital, and teaching in turkish schools.

      @Armenian Kurdi is Arab Greek ' they were not turkish, they were uzbeks, they are punished because they had separatistic thoughts. But uzbeks did the same to turkish ethnic ahiska people in Uzbekistan during soviet times, and that was tougher then kyrgyz did to uzbek.
      But yes, kyrgyz ,we ae ra*is*s and nationalistis. And our country belongs to only us. Other guests have to know their place, status or, you know what happens.

    • @uxaines8910

      No. Kyrgyz are nationalists, racists in their land. Because their land is small. If go to Moscow then you have no problem. But russians are also real racists and nazi. In smaller cities you will be discriminated. In Kyrgyzstan even in their biggest city you will be discriminated. There also a lot of people who beat indian students who study in medical university. I don't recommend indians to come Kyrgyzstan.
