She is a very good mom. Its jarring to see how Taylor cares for her son in comparison to someone like Trisha Paytas, who never straps her daughter in her carseat or stroller, doesnt support her head, crams the bottle in her daughters mouth til she chokes and spits up, doesnt cut her nails etc.
Its shocking to see the difference, i cant help but compare since both of them are youtubers with new babies. Taylor is such a great mother.

I was like "how is she able to work, make videos and care for her baby 24/7" and thank you for saying, that you have a nanny, I was really thinking, that I should be able to work and care for the baby as well, because you are able to🙈🤦🏻♀️
It’s really a crime that nannie’s don’t come standard to every mother. “It takes a village” exists for a reason. We were never meant to care for a baby all our own!
You cant work with a baby unless you work at home hut even then its too hard wich is why child care and if you can afford it is something you should think about beforehand if you both work and have No grandparents nearby

Even if she was doing it all without a nanny, that does definitively not mean you would have to be able to. Don't compare (which I know is hard, I am also still working on that), every person is different in energy levels, circumstances and stuff... My guess is that you're doing the best you can. But nobody can do more than their best, so if you're noticing you're going beyond your limits, and you can afford a nanny or other form of childcare: go for it!
You can't take care of another person (at least not long term) if you are not being taken care of. And if you need someone else taking care of your kid(s) parttime, to be able to take care of yourself too... So be it.
Agreed to the "it takes a village to raise a child", but also, sometimes it takes a village to raise/lift you up too. Go find your villagers! 🤗
I know when Levi grows up, he must be so proud to have Taylor as his mother.

I don’t know, I only saw her hustling. Dad came home, spent five minutes with the child and then it was mom doing the rest again. She doesn’t really get rest and he doesn’t really take over parental duties when he comes home.
Girl 🤣 did you not see Tom passed out? That level of exhaustion don't come from doing nothing. As a kid who's dad left, i really respect Tom for being active. He's never liked to be in front of the camera, but that doesn't mean he's not working his ☆ss off. And the times he's not there he's at work, building a future for his family. I wouldn't be so quick to assume, it feels obvious that they both are doing the best they can.
@@violettababenko4847 just a reminder that we only watch small glimpses of their day. Probably when Tom is spending time with Levi, Taylor uses that time to work on her stuff and maybe that's why she doesn't film those moments. At the end of the day, it's their family and they know what they're doing. If Taylor's uncomfortable with something I'm pretty sure they will talk to each other and come up with a solution.
I so appreciate you representing a working mother who balances baby life with her professional passions. I also love my career and desire to live beyond my role as only a mother, but sometimes this is misunderstood as selfish. It's so important to stay true to ourselves and continue doing what we love

This video is so inspiring! My husband and I are both working professionals (both engineers) and we're expecting our first child due in February (also through IVF) and my biggest worry has been how I should balance being a mom and still keeping up with my work. I definitely feel more confident after seeing this! You and your husband are doing great! Best wishes for you and your family!
Not to be a party pooper, but not all babies are as easy as Levi is. Or as shown in the video, coz their everyday reality might not look one bit like that.
My 4 month old only wants to be in my arms when awake. All his naps beside one are 20min long. He started accepting his priam 3 weeks ago. at night he wakes every 2/3hours. So with a baby like that you can imagine how little is done around the house. And I dont even work and sometimes nanny comes to the rescue...
@@xtelestarx Well I'm sure it's not going to be that easy. In fact, I would be surprised if it were that easy. It's just nice to see a working mother on TH-cam making it all happen (not saying there's anything wrong with stay at home moms, in fact, my hat goes off to them because they're way stronger than me). Most of the TH-cam moms I see are stay at home moms and just don't provide a glimpse into the lifestyle that I know I'm going to have in a few months.
@@italiaamante5 another thing is that this family has the money to not having to cook every day and just get good food from restaurants, having peiple watch the baby at home and have a flexible working schedule. Not to be mean, but it is still a picture that everyday people can't afford.
@@guardianoftides2118 Like I said, this video is inspiring because I haven't seen any examples of working mothers on TH-cam. I'm not trying to make some socioeconomic statement or whatever, I think you're reading a little too much into what I was trying to say. Not everyone can afford this option that's true, but that's not the point of my comment and I don't get why I would need to make that kind of distinction when all I was trying to say was how it was nice to see a working mother on TH-cam.
@@guardianoftides2118 I'm sorry if I come across as snippy. I appreciate the heads-up that this lifestyle isn't an option for everyone, but lets face it, isn't that pretty obvious? TH-cam families often portray unrealistic lifestyles in some form or another, that doesn't mean we can't take any form of inspiration from them and apply it to our lives

I'm not an expert in any way however I have two grown children and three grandchildren I'm 51 years old I worked at one point three jobs as a single mother I just want to say you're doing a terrific job there's no easy way to get things done. Everyday is a different day, as long as you try your hardest. You'll have good days more and more. It'll work itself out I promise you .I still have off days and I don't have young or children with me anymore.... so take it easy on yourself . Please please...you're doing amazing job.. I feel or don't think you should use " Failure" in anything. It feels that way. Its wasted emotions...... positivity brings positive outcomes. I feel like you get SO much done in a day. Do you ever have trouble focusing when you're doing your work or how do you organize/plan your work schedule or make realistic time frames for completing certain tasks ?? If you could share it may help me! I feel I set aside time for work but only get done half of what I intend to. It makes me feel unaccomplished so just wondering how you set your goals ?

I'm a new mom, but my baby is 3.5 months old. I only have one other friend with a baby because I am a young mom and most of the people I know haven't settled down or don't want children. So these videos to me are like your relationship with your friend who has a baby who's a bit older. I can get advice and see what's ahead, and seeing how you balance everything really motivates me to get my masters degree online with a baby! :)
