I loved carrying my son around in a sling! When he was about 6mo old, I put him in a back sling and we climbed a mountain in the smokies. He was so adorable 😭 he's 5 now and I miss how small he was. So much easier to catch too.
Baby wearing is such a life saver for when they're fussing and just want to be held. Especially when they only want to nap on you, and you still wanna have your hands free to do things. I have a boba wrap which I use round the house, even now that my girl is 15 months old, when I'm cooking dinner and she's fussy.
Hey Taylor, I'd highly recommend washing clothes before putting them on, especially for Levi. There are lots of pesticides in cotton production and chemicals in general. What a beautiful sunny dress and you two are so cute! Take care! 💛

Holy four and a half months old already! It feels like it went by so quickly, i can see what my mom meant no when she said that the time flies by and we grow so quickly. He's getting to be a big boi! I couldn't believe it when he was sitting up with you in the beginning of the video. I was like, "Wait, didn't he JUST start raising his head?!"

Levi in his cute little outfit. Tricky clothing size when little ones are 4 to 5 months. They usually swim in their clothes. He's such a talker! My 2 always wanted to face outward, I could never use a wrap or snuggler. The orange dress with blue bag, so cute!
Remember to take time for yourself, if it takes 20 minutes to brush out your hair then just do that. Self care is very important too for you and your baby. It’s ok to do what you use to do just integrate it with your baby. Usually new first time moms only focus on their baby and that can actually lead to depression so making sure your life includes baby and doesn’t change completely because of baby can help with saying mental strong. You are doing a great job and these vids are amazing teaching tools, I watch them with my 18 year old daughter and we get to talk about motherhood which I love! Thank you for bringing us all along with you on your new mom journey.😊

Funny thing is that I don't have or want children but a friend got a few of those wraps for free through her job when she had a baby. After the child was too old she gave me one so I could use it for my youngest cat who likes to be carried like a baby but at a bit over 6kg is too heavy to carry for long with my weak wrists. Absolute game changer for us. Definitely works for pets too if they are a bit clingy.
My tip for keeping your hair in check while home with the baby is to just braid it and preferably put some kind of oil or other treatment in it as much as possible. Keeps it from knotting up if you redo your braid at least once a day. That helped my sister tremendously but she of course still lost a lot of hair post parfum. I also keep my hair braided because I'm disabled and can't be bothered to do much with it at home.

I baby wore both my babies! for my first I did a woven wrap. for my second I used a soft structure carrier because with a toddler I didn't have time for woven wraps. I LOVED wearing my babies :) :)
