    Great review. I kind of stumbled in here while looking at chair reviews, but now I'm considering a standing desk too, hah. I like the tapered edges a lot.

      You know what I have fallen in love with them too. On this one or my Uplift Desk. I review a couple standing desk a year, and I just like the tapered edges a little bit more. It makes perfect sense to add them for comfort and looks

    I'm going to have to get something like this. I'm at work for 10 hours and sit 80% - 90% of that time and it's killing me! My legs hurt, my knees hurt and I have sciatica.

    Nice video, thanks. I have the Vari desk from 2021 (30 x 60), which I put together by myself as a woman over 60; but the darn thing was HEAVY, so I needed help to flip it over. Been happily using it ever since. I am now thinking about adding wheels, I just checked Vari's website and it seems they now sell them. I love the desk and hopefully the wheels will work nicely, as moving it without them is IMPOSSIBLE.

      I'm sorry to hear you had to go through all of that during setup. I love you''re getting the value out of it though. You're correct the reals will help with moving around you might get some slight incremental movement from day to day use, but that'll be easily correctable.

    Do you know how it compares to the vernal space or uplift?
    Thanks

      I have 2 uplift desk. I will now recommend Vari also in the future. Uplift has way to many customization options to pass up. But this is a really well built desk.

    What made you decide on butcher block? Are you happy with it? Debating between that, walnut and light wood.

    • @wlsntech
      @wlsntech  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      its a happy medium. Not to light or dark, and fits with the light wood i have in my room. A really light wood like White Oak might have a hard time blending in with other light wood accessories unless they're also oak. But Butcher block works with Bamboo, Ash, etc. Don't mind me though, i'm crazy with this stuff. But I'd consider what i'm going to do with the desk and if I care if it coordinates with accessories

  • @CousinMarvin
    @CousinMarvin หลายเดือนก่อน

    The mot stable desks are the ones with 4 legs. You simply cannot beat 4 legs for stability. the Flexispot e7 Pro or the more expensive Flexi Spot E7Q Odin are the most table.

    • @wlsntech
      @wlsntech  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, but the stability has never been an issue. 4 leg desks also cost more (for the extra material and motors). I add it in my reviews, but after trying cheap, expensive, wide, and narrow, it all comes down to material and construction. Also, the wobbling doesn't seem like something that'll affect most of the things people use it for.

      38 inch. I love it and never going back to regular monitors. The KVM switch is amazing and allows me to work from home with a small footprint. It’s a Dell DWI 38 something. Mine is old and I’d like to upgrade it with something that has more usb c ports. And since I’m in my office a lot, I’m tempted to get a smarttv ultrawide

    • @wlsntech
      @wlsntech  9 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I don’t see why not. What exactly do you need from my desk? Actually, now that I think about it, I always wondered why streamers just have regular desks when they‘re sitting for about 18 hours a day. It would be much healthier if they stood up every once in a while or had a treadmill under there to at least move every couple of hours.

    • @ChampionsFate4

      @wlsntech exactly my thoughts! I'm a college student with a major in something I sit at the computer for a good amount. I also play video games. I'm more so worried about the stability at certain heights and what the weight limit is.

    • @wlsntech
      @wlsntech  8 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      I have a four legged desk and it wobbles a little bit at the tallest height, but you can’t notice it really. I’ve had at least 72 legged desk and the wobble on them are very minimal especially with a desk like this, where the legs are in the center and it is heavy with fewer parts so it is more solid. Unless you are recording something and violently shaking the desk, you’re not really going to have any issues. As for weight limit. You don’t even have to get this brand but if you’re paying within this price range, there’s nothing you’re gonna put on your desk that’s going to break it, besides 300 or 400 pounds of stuff. Which I doubt your average to monitor and Giant desktop set ups are going to do anything. I’m saying this as someone who doesn’t even get commission or affiliate links for this brand. And you could choose other desk companies like Uplift, which I love as a company. I’m just real passionate about standing desks, because they just make such a big difference and what you can do and how you can work. And most of the concerns people have about them aren’t a big deal in real life. And now I will end my Standing desk pitch 😅

    • @micahpowers2614
      @micahpowers2614 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Any 2 leg standing desk is going to wobble a lot. Especially when you put weight in it and than raise up high. Kinda like balancing a basketball on your finger.
      Youd have to get a 4 leg desk to reduce that. And than youd have ti find a way to reduce the left and right wobble that the desk woukd have. Putting a bar across the back or something.
      The wobble isnt as bad as most videos show. You dint notice it alot. Im on my 3rd standing desk now just cause i like to chsnge it up lol.

    • @wlsntech
      @wlsntech  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @micahpowers2614 exactly, and I have had a four-legged desk *whispering* which still wobbled a little when fully extended. But I’ve never had issues with wobbling where it was it distraction or hindered something. And it’s almost almost nonexistent when the desk is not fully extended.

      Too little or too much? That’s actually the standard price for quality standing desk. You could get one for the 100 and 200 range. Generally have less customization options, not as sturdy or stable, usually have thinner desktop materials, but does the trick.
