This Keyboard Will Change the Way You Type: Keychron K3 Pro Review
How does this not have function keys at least... I legit would have hopped on this
You can add a multi action where holding the number row button will activate that F row key or in the latest beta firmware the fp key acts as a very customizable fn key and has it's own layer while held.
Is it good for a person over 6ft tall. Also I am using my walking so my current desk needs to go hire than 111 inches
I’m 6’4
Thank you for the review. I am considering buying a Vari desk. Is the butcher block a smooth surface? I looked at the butcher block and reclaimed wood. I want a smooth surface so if I'm writing on a piece of paper, my pen doesn't get stuck in any texture the desk top may have.
Theyre all smooth as butter
Am i the only one who thought their headset broke while watching this...?
Nope
This keyboard looks so tiny!
A little. More smushed then anything
@2:15 "it's just solid, don't really have a lot of shaking" shows the desk going through an earthquake lmao. looks wobbly af
Yeah, totally but that’s my monitor. I’m gonna do a different test moving forward because of the momentum of my heavy ass monitor on it arm makes it look more wobbly than it is.
Think this would be good for someone who plays games?
I don’t see why not. What exactly do you need from my desk? Actually, now that I think about it, I always wondered why streamers just have regular desks when they‘re sitting for about 18 hours a day. It would be much healthier if they stood up every once in a while or had a treadmill under there to at least move every couple of hours.
@wlsntech exactly my thoughts! I'm a college student with a major in something I sit at the computer for a good amount. I also play video games. I'm more so worried about the stability at certain heights and what the weight limit is.
I have a four legged desk and it wobbles a little bit at the tallest height, but you can’t notice it really. I’ve had at least 72 legged desk and the wobble on them are very minimal especially with a desk like this, where the legs are in the center and it is heavy with fewer parts so it is more solid. Unless you are recording something and violently shaking the desk, you’re not really going to have any issues. As for weight limit. You don’t even have to get this brand but if you’re paying within this price range, there’s nothing you’re gonna put on your desk that’s going to break it, besides 300 or 400 pounds of stuff. Which I doubt your average to monitor and Giant desktop set ups are going to do anything. I’m saying this as someone who doesn’t even get commission or affiliate links for this brand. And you could choose other desk companies like Uplift, which I love as a company. I’m just real passionate about standing desks, because they just make such a big difference and what you can do and how you can work. And most of the concerns people have about them aren’t a big deal in real life. And now I will end my Standing desk pitch 😅
anyway to find a bud lost in high grass?
unfortunately, no. It is somewhat magnetic, so if you were to have some sort of magnet or electronic radar thing, it sounds weird, but that would actually be your best way. Like you know those metal detectors. I swear I’m not trying to be funny, but that would literally be how I would try to find one of these. But then it would matter how much the metal detector is versus just getting a new pair.
@@wlsntech Thanks! Hadn't happened yet but I do have a friend with a metal detector! Makes sense though ...
I think you summed it up with “it just feels cheap”. At almost 4x the price of a similar offering from Nuphy, Work Louder could have and should have done better.
I love Nuphy. I will give the Worklouder guys some grace since they’re a small company. But I think this needed some more time in development
Is this how I've sounded to people for the past 3 years? 😮
Absolutely. That’s why I make sure to add it in my reviews. No one ever says anything 🤣
Do you still have the keyboard for sale?
Sorry, I sold it. But I’m gonna start a membership where I will sell off some of my reviewed products. Members will get first bite at the apple
I'm going to have to get something like this. I'm at work for 10 hours and sit 80% - 90% of that time and it's killing me! My legs hurt, my knees hurt and I have sciatica.
It’s the best feeling switching between standing and sitting. I don’t have a set standing time but I do stand for certain tasks. Meetings, eating, etc. Anything where I have energy or will fidget, I stand for. It’s the best
Thanks for your content
Glad you liked it! More videos coming soon
Great review! I received mine a couple weeks ago in the atomic purple and it honestly just feels cheap there’s a bunch of scratches not major ones but at the price of it you’d think it’d be flawless if not very close to it. They also made the cable braided but it feels cheap as well especially since it’s so light. The widgets are mediocre. I feel how you feel I rather sell this off, they’ve let me down it seems they didn’t put in enough effort to make sure it came out well despite taking much longer than they told us initially. After waiting about a year and a half it disappointed.
Yeah, for taking so long from announcement to launch, it still feels like they rushed it
I'm in the exact same boat. I was a kickstarter backer and got the atomic purple. I agree with you on how cheap it feels. I'm starting to think about selling it off as well.
Thx for the video. All I would like to know is how long do I have to charge prior to using the first time. Having trouble finding info on this anywhere? Thnx in advance for the help.
2 hours to be safe. But if you download the Bose app. It’ll tell you the exact battery life
@@wlsntech Thx
good video but please fix the issue with the Mono left sided sound, its frekling me out like crazy when it swiches between mono left side to stereo and back to mono. You can just duplicate the Audio track an put one on left and the other on right. but the content is very good
Interesting. Thank you for pointing it out.
love the honesty in this review, thanks for the video! i'll hold off from buying it i think

Great review. I kind of stumbled in here while looking at chair reviews, but now I'm considering a standing desk too, hah. I like the tapered edges a lot.
You know what I have fallen in love with them too. On this one or my Uplift Desk. I review a couple standing desk a year, and I just like the tapered edges a little bit more. It makes perfect sense to add them for comfort and looks

My music is low and perfect but my calls are low like a lot
Like I have to push them to my ear but the music so beautiful and clear
Unfortunately, you can mess around with your call settings within the Bose app, but the volume being low is a default. I haven’t had the experience, but it has come up often from people with this device.
Still for sale?? i sent you an email inquiring about it 🙏
Thank you for this video ❤❤
Do you still love it? Thinking about buying the 60 x 30 comfort edge Do you know how it compares to the vernal space or uplift? Thanks
I have 2 uplift desk. I will now recommend Vari also in the future. Uplift has way to many customization options to pass up. But this is a really well built desk.
I was given these a gift but there is only one ear bud. It’s not pairing with my iPhone
Sorry, you'll need both to connect

Dose anyone know how to turn it off, I put them in the case , but they still working!
check and clean the inside of the case, sometimes there's dust or smudge that keeps it from connecting
I don't know how to clean them
simple brush or cotton swab. there are cheap kits on amazon you could get
Still selling this keyboard?
Yep, still here with spare keycaps, cable, and original box 📦
Hey sir, what is the quality like of the motors. Is this a Dual or single system? I would be using the motors at least 5 times an hour for a music studio purpose?
single. I've had over 6 desks now, I don't think that'll be a problem. I've moved my desks several times a day for year without issue. It also helps having warranty
wow, didn't know it exists, the timer function caught me too much and it's suitable for macOs, perfect fit! thanks for bringing it to yt Wilson!
What is this a KEYBOARD FOR ANTS!? (In zoolander voice)
This is a great review! Quick and right to the point.
Thanks ☺️ it’s kinda my thing. There’ll be a lot of “short as possible, long as necessary content coming soon.
Bruh…. Not me thinking the mute button was because it was also a speaker 🥴
Nope lol definitely looks like one though
@ love the videos bro! Nice editing. It’s giving Linus.. keep up the good work 😊
Does the comfort edge get annoying because objects (pencils, etc.) near the edge often slide off?
never been an issue. I've had several desks with this form and it's not even a thought.
The mot stable desks are the ones with 4 legs. You simply cannot beat 4 legs for stability. the Flexispot e7 Pro or the more expensive Flexi Spot E7Q Odin are the most table.
Yes, but the stability has never been an issue. 4 leg desks also cost more (for the extra material and motors). I add it in my reviews, but after trying cheap, expensive, wide, and narrow, it all comes down to material and construction. Also, the wobbling doesn't seem like something that'll affect most of the things people use it for.
What made you decide on butcher block? Are you happy with it? Debating between that, walnut and light wood.
its a happy medium. Not to light or dark, and fits with the light wood i have in my room. A really light wood like White Oak might have a hard time blending in with other light wood accessories unless they're also oak. But Butcher block works with Bamboo, Ash, etc. Don't mind me though, i'm crazy with this stuff. But I'd consider what i'm going to do with the desk and if I care if it coordinates with accessories
@@wlsntech Thanks brother!
Thanks for the review and i have a doubt? Does both keybords sound similar ? In keyboard sound test videos posted by other youtubers they look like they sound little bit diffrence?
I don't know about other videos. For my video I used the same microphone. I don't see why there would be such a huge difference in sound
How do the page-up/page-down and home/end functions work. Because I see that dedicated keys are missing. Is there a combination of keys that work to achieve the same functionality ? I saw a comment somewhere - FN + UP arrow-key = page-up FN + DOWN arrow-key = page-down FN + LEFT arrow-key = HOME FN + RIGHT arrow-key = END PLEASE can someone confirm this to me.
Yep Home: Fn + Left Arrow End: Fn + Right Arrow Page Up: Fn + Up Arrow Page Down: Fn + Down Arrow
Thanks for the review

Was this sent to you by the company to review? Or did you purchase it? You said you were trying it. I’m always leery of paid reviews or free merch for a review. Please advise. Thanks!
I'm sharing my opinion based on my own experience. I wasn’t paid and don’t have any affiliate links or promo codes
Vari is a good company, I’m a sucker for uplift and interested in autonomous desk. But this desk is pretty cool as it solves the one thing I have had it while owning so many standing desk, setup and disassembly. Plus, of course being Solid and looking good.
@@wlsntech Thanks for the review. I am ordering it now for 20% off ($680). Never thought of how the sharp edge of my ikea desk cuts into my arm until you mentioned it. I was looking at cheaper options but I really do NOT want to spent 1-2 hrs struggling to put together parts from cheaper tables.
Anybody know any promo codes?
Unfortunately, not, but since it’s almost Black Friday, there should be some floating around
Does it come with the L shape add on ? Or under desks cabinets ?
not this specific desk, but Vari has some L shaped options www.vari.com/desks-and-tables/standing-desks/?srsltid=AfmBOopOUSqdHkVfQK8Tqw6xpBhMtxE0EKpzr4Xlg_GZuHUImjWoTheU

Yes. I usually have mine on the white all day as well. It has a bit of blue tint if you look closely
@@wlsntech thank you for the answer!!
Nice video, thanks. I have the Vari desk from 2021 (30 x 60), which I put together by myself as a woman over 60; but the darn thing was HEAVY, so I needed help to flip it over. Been happily using it ever since. I am now thinking about adding wheels, I just checked Vari's website and it seems they now sell them. I love the desk and hopefully the wheels will work nicely, as moving it without them is IMPOSSIBLE.
I'm sorry to hear you had to go through all of that during setup. I love you''re getting the value out of it though. You're correct the reals will help with moving around you might get some slight incremental movement from day to day use, but that'll be easily correctable.
I did not like them. To little bass and kind of "too clear" in sound quality, overkill?!
Too clear, huh? I can see what what you mean. Even with boosting the EQ?
