Funeral procession for Selma Police Officer Gonzalo Carrasco killed in the line of duty

Funeral services were held for Selma Police Officer Gonzalo Carrasco on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at Selland Arena in Fresno. A 6-mile-long procession took Officer Carrasco to his final resting place in Reedley.

It seems to me that this precession was perhaps a symbolic statement by California's law enforcement. They traveled here from all corners of the state to pay their respects to Officer Carrasco. Perhaps it was also symbolic of their frustration with criminals being released and making the officers jobs, and our communities more dangerous due to poor legislation and governance. Rest in Peace, Officer Carrasco. May your sacrifice not be in vain.
