I believe that 1200 is a totally different animal than the 86 and won't work for you, besides those parts are too valuable to try to alter them to fit the 86 you have. That 3 pin driver plate is real costly not to mention the $200. Bushing it takes for the special 1200 drive shaft!! I suggest you take all the 1200 parts and keep them together safe if you ever need them for a 1200. Just go buy your 86 parts.

This looks like a fun project and it is great that you managed to source some parts a while back
It kills me that people discard these machines. Parts are getting a lil hard to find (not impossible yet) but jeez.
Clearly you're a man with a plan... off to watch the next part...
Plans were made to change..lol
Off to a good start, Craig. You've got a lathe and the mills for making parts.
I almost could imagine owning these old machines without a machine shop. Talk about a costly hobby otherwise
Looks like you have a good grasp on the project
Well we we see about that. Mix n match parts can throw some curves at ya

I have a 1000 series and having a hard time finding clutch parts. Where do you recommend purchasing parts?

it's lucky you scrounged some parts earlier, that saves time and expense.
Most definitely. At 1st I thought I was gonna have to machine several parts. Now looks like 1 or 2 simple ones
There's your problem!
You mean the cub cadet in general? Lol
@@craigtate5930 Well that too, just the compound abnormalities all were adding up.
@@JohnBare747 got ya. Most of my GTs really haven't been cared for very well and several (almost all) need a number of repairs
