Hi everyone thanks for watching this video ! I was too excited to visit Kanazawa as my hobby is tea ceremony and I found lots of cafes to drink matcha and traditional tea houses 🍵 Please have a visit if you are interested :)
My wife & I are travel agents so we watch dozens of videos filmed in places we want to visit. Michelle does a great job. Good content, editing, pace, and comments. She covers a lot: transport, food, lodging, sights, shopping, pricing. We are happy that she does not waste time, act like a fool, or mindlessly pose for the camera. Keep up the good work!
You are welcome ❤️ I couldn’t go but I also recommend here as well! It’s the house where samurai used to live. maps.app.goo.gl/vdujdUfXeDpc2ovs8?g_st=ic
Hello, I am planning to visit Kanazawa next year. As a non-Japanese speaker, is it easy to get around, order food in restaurants? Are there tea ceremonies in English?
To be honest with you, it’s not easy enough if you don’t speak Japanese. It’s not only about Kanazawa but also national wide in Japan. But I think it should be fine if you prepare yourself to use google translate. You can translate language by text and photo ( like menu at restaurants). For tea ceremony experience I guess this place is okay with English. To make sure, please contact them and ask their language proficiency. soyu-chado.com/price-tea-ceremony

@@michelleintokyo Yes, we've used Google Translate before when we visited Kyushu and it was helpful. Thank you.
32:43 I would like to know the name of the sushi!
It takes time to translate name of sushi from Japanese to English! So please wait until this weekend 🙏 sorry for the inconvenience !
