Aaj ke time par many students school quit karne ke decision lene ke baare me soch the hai because aaj Marks , certificates, Degrees ko hi importance di jaati hai, student ki knowledge aur uske hidden talent ko ignore kar diya jaata hai.
Indian education system ka yehi failure hai ki students par Board exams aur Marks/percentage ka itna pressure bna dia jaata hai ki kisi ko kuch pata hi nhi hota ki usse aage kya karna hai, isi tra aaj students ke man me schooling bich me hi quit karne ka kyal aata hai.
(Is comment ka video se koi relation toh nahi hai but yehi reason hai ki Badhi Badhi degree wale logo unemployed kyu hai.
Unke pass certificates/degrees toh hai but knowledge aur practical skills nahi hai)

Unko itna bada boj lagta hai ye sab ki wo soch lete hai padai ke saath kuch aur creative ho hi nahi sakta ( padhai karni hai to sirf padhai hi karni padegi aisa sochte hai). I started animating when I was in 8th class. Yes, all the wanna be Animation artists you all can learn and create animations at any age. Any class any time. Just the determination needs to be strict and strong. Patience is the key....
But please don't suffer your present education toll 12th class, learn basics wile studying hard for your schools and colleges 😊

Disclaimer: I am coming from video game animation background.
Great video. I totally agree with your points. It would have been better if you also talked about different fields in animation like game animation, MoGraph, etc.
I think drawing is very important skill if you are going into animation, irrespective of your medium. While working in creative industry there is a lot of back and forth between seniors and juniors, and drawing may help you to quickly sketch out a motion to prototype quickly, and also if you do decide to make a small movie, drawing will help you in sharing your ideas, and obviously storyboarding.
Also, the importance of 11th class physics. If you are from science field. Then you need to focus more on physics of 11th class, because animation needs to have some resemblance of real world motion. For example: how would you animate a tennis racket spinning in outer space? How will a character wield a long and heavy weapon? Or simply, how will a character push a heavy box? Knowing mass distribution and motion and inertia is important while animating.
It is my opinion. The video was very knowledgeable, thanks for making it.
I got to get a job, earn some money, stand up on my feet. Once I m earning good enough for me, I will mainly focus on this passion.
I'm 8th grade and already speed paintings in anime
I am a 7th grade student and I am painting in ibis painting anime character
In 2019 I became a 12th class drop out student because I was so much consumed in learning animation film making and it's principles that I neglected and bunked my school classes and I fell right into that pit. But this year I have finally passed my 12th board and I've decided to complete my college studies and then I'll do diploma in animation and game design.
So guys if you are a school or a college student, I warn you all not to do this type of stupidity. Learning animation during free time while you are in a college or school won't harm you and will help you later on but getting consumed and neglecting your academic studies will give regrets. Whatever he said is 100% true.
Atlast I'm grateful that I made this mistake and learned an important lesson. Even grateful as I have learned a lot of stuffs about animation film making.
Students..please control your desires and learn self control, else desires will eat you up.

To those people who are thinking of quitting school and want to start Animation: You can just do Animation by using Flipaclip,Ibis paint or other Animation app without quitting school so that you can atleast get some knowledge about Animation when you're School life is over like I am doing so that I can get atleast some knowledge 😊
