Very true, but USC's core has always been its backyard. LR has to prioritize putting a "fence" up around everything from San Diego on up to the Central Valley, at least. USC should also have first dibs on Bay Area 4 and 5 stars, when Stanford & Cal are down, like both are right now. Then, you go cherry-pick around the country like we did in the past with guys like Dwayne Jarrett (New Jersey) Lendale White (Colorado), Mike Williams (Florida) and Brian Cushing (Michigan) etc. Those outta state recruits mean nothing if you're losing the Matt Leinarts and Reggie Bushs of the world to Oregon and other schools.
He has to lock down CA/NV/AZ, etc, or at least be competitive. The talent level leaving the area to go to other schools has to be stopped. There are great players at all position groups that are leaving/missing and it has to change. Facts from you on the Husan vs Juju situation

Juju to Longstreet and the news about the UNC tackle commit flip in the wake of Carde Smith. The staff is aware and has ACTIVE plans in place to swap out TALENT with TALENT. We aren’t down grading at all! This has been one of my biggest complaints with Helton and the first 2 years of recruiting with LR. He’s adapting to the game of recruiting now. If he knows the recruit isn’t loyal he’s getting another one lined up! Great job by the current staff!

Look people have to realize that Lincoln Riley is a hell of a California recruiter. All we have to do is go check his recruiting chops at Oklahoma by way of California. I mean look at who he brought over with him to USC. It's USC and the California kids that weren't seeing eye to eye. Our kids loss trust in development at USC, players not getting drafted and all. Yet Lincoln Riley has showed them you will get developed and get drafted. USC was so dry of starting talent that Lincoln Riley spent his first two years recruiting the transfer portal to get us to be competitive in the B10. It wasn't the start of the rebuild but plugging some much needed holes on the football field. Now the NIL, it roll out slow for a reason. The NCAA and its bag of bullshit, they will let the whole of college football break all the rules and do nothing but just soon as we look like we did something here they go. During my live stream, I noticed Juju's mom engaging with someone in the chat, but I’m not exactly sure what was said to her that prompted her responses. I also don’t remember exactly what she said in return. After the live, I received a message from her saying things didn’t look good. I took that to mean he wasn’t going to commit, which I shared on my channel the very next day. However, as for the specific comments in the chat, I honestly can’t recall.
